    AJ Cook supposedly has one scene for the finale that she's supposed to shoot so maybe he's talking about JJ, but I'm not sure why he'd refer to her as an old friend. She was pretty close to Hotch, but not really so much with Rossi.

    I will wish against all hope that the scene is with Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), but I know it's JJ/AJ he is referring to.

    I've gotten the sense that Gideon wasn't one of Rossi's favorite people. The Gideon character was okay, but his melodramtics became tiresome so I don't miss him much. I can't imagine the showrunners want anything to do with Mandy Patinkin after the way he left. Besides he's got some new show he can bail on some time in the near future.

    Yeah I would never hire Patinkin for a show I ran... he is too fickle and leaves everything on bad terms.

    Watch for the last scene? JJ returning wouldn't really be a HUGE mindblowing twist. Methinks either Strauss turns up dead or Seaver is killed. I hope they pick up the Wylund plot again too.

    Into the Woods aired yesterday, so maybe Shane Wylund is back (The Appalachian Pedo)

    Gideon and Reid are why I stuck with it past the first episode... It was "just another show to me, but their characters were something different.

    Couldn't agree more. To me Gideon was the center and foundation of the series while he was on. Once he left things got spread around more to Morgan, Reid, Hotchner, the new guy Rossi, Garcia and to a lesser degree, Prentiss and JJ. I thought I would miss Gideon, but truth be told I can enjoy the series as much now as I did then. This series is not about the BAU team as much as the minds they profile anyway so the revolving door of characters has not bothered me at all.

    Everyone else is going with JJ, so I'm betting it all on PRENTISS.
