Shooting for season two will start in May, according to Darabont. That's just two months from now, so we don't have a lot to fret about, right? Wrong. We'll have to wait a further five months for the show's second season to hit AMC, since Darabont announced that the second season would be premiering in October.
Hopes had been that the premiere of the show would be pushed forward to this autumn to make room for the thirteen-episode order. Now, it seems, we'll either see a run straight through into early 2012, or we'll see a split season that will have starts in October 2011 and January 2012.

I'm just happy that the second season will have more episodes. 5 months is long but it will be so worth it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it already. I'm used to waiting long times between seasons (LOST!!) and so I can hold out :)
ReplyDelete13 episodes! great, october can't arrive soon enough!
ReplyDeleteLong time away, but can't wait for it!
ReplyDeleteI'm not gonna watch the show if it turns out that Jenner whispers to Rick that Lori is pregnant. That owuld just be a boring, unoriginal and cliched story line, and I'm gonna be upset. I mean, c'mon. How many times have we seen this story? The Terminator? The Bible? I didn't watch this show to take child-rearing classes. I could have watched Oprah for that. Please writers, tell us that you're coming up with something original and actually interesting.
ReplyDeleteif they stick to the comic (which the show is based on) she will be pregnant
