Transporter - TV Show get green light

Cinemax is teaming with Luc Besson for a TV series based on his popular Transporter film franchise. After lengthy negotiations, HBO's sibling pay-cable channel has committed to 12 episodes of the action drama, produced by French company Atlantique and executive produced by Besson. This is the second series order under Cinemax's current push in original scripted fare. Last month, the network partnered with British satcaster Sky for another action series, the 10-part Strike Back.

    This could be a replacement for my Human Target fx assuming that FOX cancels Human Target.

    Glad series 2 of Strike Back is in the work stage! I just watched the first series of 6 episodes and enjoyed it.

    The love interest from the first movie was a hot asian woman who, for some reason, vanished before the second movie. The love interest in the second movie was married and never got that far. The love interest in the third movie had an annoyingly thick accident and absolutely no acting ability.

    Considering the whole James Bond new-girl-with-every-movie idea they've been using, they could certainly get away with it.

    But yeah, cinemax seems like an odd place for a tv show like this.
