A rerun of Supernatural is better than no Supernatural. Part of what I have learned is I'd rather have the love of family, self - sacrifice, great acting, great drama, fantastic comedy that isn't afraid to poke at itself and everyone else, and good horror. I love the writing and the directing. Fringe may be great, but I have no time for it. I have to choose. If I DVRed I'd still have no time for it. I will stick with the show I love. Going to my first convention this year, too.
I'm watching Supernatural too and for the same reason. Any SPN, even one I've seen 3 times, is better than most of the other stuff I watch. But I also want us to have a strong re-run viewer number to show the CW that we support Supernatural in any form. If they really try to launch 6 new episodes (although I doubt it), we want them to remember how much Supernatural is loved.
The earthquake and tsunamis! What an awful disaster. Those poor people. If this news doesn't finally bump Charlie Sheen's face off every medium, it's a sad world.

This comment scared me for a few minutes - until I realized you were talking about CW pilots and not Supernatural episodes. I thought I had missed a report that CW might not air the remaining six SPN episodes of this season :-O
Besides, they need to stop feeding Charlie Sheen all of this attention, or he'll just get worse. Not that they would, though, because it sadly gets them a lot of viewers.
I'll watch or record Fringe on Saturday night. For me an average rerun of Supernatural hands down beats catching a new episode of Fringe "live" or record, especially this rerun and the next one. I don't think Fringe S3 is all that great - it's getting too "soapy" IMHO for my taste.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The one and only, best show on Fridays... Fringe!
ReplyDeleteFRINGE!

Looks like Fringe is going For The Win again!
ReplyDeleteNothing here, but Wizards of Waverly Place is new and I'm excited for that. I'm 99% sure Max is returning, so yay!
