 I was just wondering... When we were told there would be a new female agent, i thought it could be nice to have a new face to warm things up. Now that we got Special Agent E.J. Barret, although I don't really like her, I understand she could bring a nice arc to the series. But I'm not the only NCIS fan in the world. What do you think of her? And don't forget to comment below. ;)

    I like EJ...She's a quirky character, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her...plus I'm no fan of Tiva, so I'm happy it looks like Tony's found someone :)

    I really like her! I'd be thankful if she'd end the Tiva crap, but I don't really care if Tony and her become a couple. I only hope she'll bring more to the show than that, but since Sarah Jane Morris said that it'd be so much more, I just trust her and look forward to the story lines that'll involve EJ.

    I sure hope she and at least one of her agents stay for season 9, I find the stagnated relationship between the "old" team members increasingly boring so I'd be glad if the new agents would stay quite a while. And EJ seems to be a very interesting character.

    Btw. in my opinion nobody's more annoying than Tony. Pity that he's only a few good scenes, most of the time he's just silly. Hate that. He could be such a good agent (as one can see in the rare serious scenes with him, e.g. in Out of the Frying Pan during the interrogation). I wished EJ would wipe away his sillyness. Funny, yeah, but silly, no thanks. I never liked Jeanne but at least Tony was bearable back then.

    that's why I don't hate EJ, because she can add something new to the show.
    But I disagree when you say that Team Gibbs' relationships are boring. They haven't evolved much for a while, but they are not boring at all.

    I like EJ and I want more serious and capable Tony. He can be fun and still be taken seriously so I want the show to give us more of that. Maybe more MW directed eps, I like what he does with his character.
    TIVA has lost its shine, I could never seeing it going somewhere but it would have been nice to see these two acknowledge it and move on as friends, since that wont happen I say be done with it.

    I chose "it's okay..." although I don't like that she's messing with Tiva. However, I like the mysteriousness of her character and can't wait to see what else she brings. I might also be hoping that she falls victim to the serial killer LOL

    Most of the comments I've read around the net say they would like to see Tiva die. But the poll we had here at SpoilerTV (not like it's precise, anyways) show the opposite. A minority thinks Tony and Ziva should move on as friends.

    I like Tiva and am still holding out on them but something needs to happen to spark the flame and maybe EJ and Ray will help them in that direction. Though, there has been Jeanne and Michael so you'd think they'd have learned by now. I'm hoping, even with Ray and EJ, that we get great Tiva scenes in between.

    If Cote sticks around, then I want them to move on as friends or the show to get that spark going again; it depends if the character Ziva is around next season or not for me. I am a huge Tiva fan but I love the characters more and would rather the characters grow than stay stagnant.

    I loooove her because the actress who playes E.J. is soooo lovely!! She is an interesting character that can make Ziva jealous but in the end, she'll only bring Tiva together (I hopeeeee)!!

    I'm on the fence with her. She creeps me out a little with her nosiness, but I can't say I hate her. I think she may be the type of character that takes some time to get used to. Especially since we've all gotten so comfortable with the current cast.

    I'm a Tiva supporter all the way, but they need to get moving on that. It's gotten to that point where it NEEDS to happen sometime soon, or people will just get too annoyed by it and stop caring.

    This is the horrible mistake that these TV shows keep making. Dangle the carrot in front of their faces for too long, ALWAYS keeping it beyond reach, and they'll eventually stop chasing it out of resentment.

    I had the same experience with JAG, and was very bitter they held it off until the ass end of the series.

    I'm STARTING to get that way with Bones.

    Castle seems to be doing it right. They're making it obvious that something will happen between Castle and Beckett soon and it won't take several seasons to get that far.

    As for the new girl? We'll see. I need more episodes to determine if I like her or not.

    The major problem they're having is that they have a Tiva moment only once every four episodes or so, and they're usually so short it's not worth the wait.

    Make the Tiva happen, and SOON, or people will start giving up on the pairing very quickly. It's gone on long enough.

    there's simply no way they can commit to Tiva now.....the fans against it are growing & to keep both factions happy there's no way at this point that they can move forward with that (idiotic) romance.

    I don't want her messing with Tiva. I actually want to see TIVA again but it seems that NCIS is trying to get rid of it. I admit that I wasn't a fan of a romance on this show. However, Tony and Ziva changed that for me. I don't even care if it is full blown tiva..just let the romance come out a little and don't add others to mess it up. I used to watch BONES for leads to hint at their caring..got old when others kept being added to the mix. Quit watching. I fear this may be the same with NCIS for me if Tiva is pushed under the rug and other romances insue once again.

    I totally agree with you all the way!!! I'm a total Tiva, Caskett, and Booth and Brennan shipper, and you are totally right about all three. I have a feeling B&B will be together at the end of this season, but I've learned not to get my hopes up too high...
    As for Castle, I just really want Josh out of the picture. He's just annoying, and he's ruined two good Caskett moments so far. He needs to DIE...uhhhh...I mean...
    I have no clue how they would ultimately get Tiva together while still making it realistic, and there's rule no. 12. I'm truthfully not as optimistic about Tiva than I am with B&B

    I liked her. She looks like she is going to bring an interesting story with her and I like the adult Tony that we've seen so far around her. The Tiva focus was irritating to begin with and is just plain boring now.

    I'm an avowed loather of the whole TIVA idea; I love Tony and I'd never wish to see him romantically partnered with a woman that lacks self-control in the way that Ziva is written. For a supposedly highly trained Kidon-Mossad operative Ziva fails at every turn except the application of violence; then it's all kill ahead.

    I'm not sure I want Tony jumping head first in wioth EJ but at least the character is better imagined from the get-go. The fact that they 'changed' Ziva's original character description to Israeli/Mossad rather that what was planned because apperently someone didn't think Cote de Pablo could play the original role says a lot about the role of Ziva. It was never thought out well from the start and has devolved to the point that the only reason she seems to be there is to be the 'romantic lead for Tony DiNozzo'. Thanks but I kind of woul;d prefer to see a female charcter exist because she's good at her job, competent, self-controlled and able to work within the mpores of the society she is currently employed in-all of which Ziva is not.

    That being said, EJ starts from the get-go as a fully trained NCIS agent with experience as a team lead and is not in the same working team as Tony which removes many of the basic problems of having a romantic relationship between law enforcement officers (The Closer handled this very well with the Daniels/Gabriel story line including the fallout when it goes wrong). So, Tony in a relationship with EJ doesn't woprry me and if it got rid of that dreaded TIVA (and it's entitled fans who keep saying that they should get their deal sealed) then it would be an overall good move for NCIS. Might even help get NCIS back to that quirky, almost family, procedural drama that many of us fell in love with.

    Otherwise, I'd like to see romantic relationships develop OUTSIDE the NCIS environment; leave the shipping withon team to the fanfiction writers. Subtext for all, TEXT for none, and we can all be happy.

    I really like her. She seems like a nice, classy, professional woman. It's nice for Tony to have someone around who actually likes him and doesn't put him down all the time or throw him around when he's got a broken arm and pull a gun on him. If Tiva happened now, after Aliyah, I'd be disgusted. That ship has sailed. I'm also amused by those Tiva fans who accuse Tony of reverting to skirt-chasing, fratboy ways by getting close to EJ so soon after meeting her. Obviously they've forgotten Ziva's hook up with a one night stand in Recoil. But that's okay because she's ZIVA and we all know Tiva is all about Ziva and that Ziva can do no wrong while Tony is an idiot who needs to come to his senses and realize how wonderful she is. I never understand why Tiva fans want Tony with Ziva when they have such a low opinion of him.

    Yeah why is she wrong? I agree with her. I don't care about Tiva and never have. I have never thought of them as a couple who would get together. Yes they flirt and have strong connection, but not in a romantic way to me.

    I love Tony and his silliness and his antics as well. He is fun and funny. I like Tony with EJ, there was something there that I think works and Tony was actually having fun again.

    Why would Cote leave the show? Because you can't stand Tiva or Ziva? Well sorry but I don't think that she's gonna leave her job, the character that she loves and the people she adores just because some people have a problem with Tiva or Ziva. Why don't you ask MW to leave she show? It's ridiculous, why do haters always try to influence the show? If you don't like a character just ignore it and if it bother you well STOP WATCHING THE SHOW. But I don't get why a actress should loose her job because of some haters.

    Really? Do you watch House? Because it was the same things with Huddy, a lot of fans loved them and a lot of fans hated them because they though Huddy would ruin the show and couldn't stand them together. Yet they choose to do Huddy. Some fans stop watching, but the show is still there. If it bother you and some other, well you'll just have to stop watching NCIS. But NCIS will loose more fans by not doing Tiva than doing it. But it doesn't even matters because like Jag Tony and Ziva are not going to be together until the end, but the will, because they're meant to be together.

In truth you could not care less about EJ, you are just happy anytime something comes between them. You're a shame for this show. But remember that nothing can come bewteen something that isn't here in the first place. Tiva is here and will win in the end. EJ and Ray are only here to bring them closer.

    Like Mark next summer, if she wants to do other projects, she can do it during those 2-3months, like she did for The Last Rites Of The Ransom Pride. She said multiple times that she loved being a part of the NCIS family and she's not thinking about leaving at all. She said that she would like to do stage again AFTER NCIS. But she's not gonna leave the number one drama show on TV to do that now, she's not stupid and she don't even want to. As for getting married and have a family, thank you very much but woman can work and have that, we are not in 1960. It's funny because you are trying to find excuses and make us think that you care about Cote's wishes and career when the only think that you actually want is Ziva gone. You could not care less about what Cote wants or not, so stop acting like you do. Ziva or Cote is not going anywhere, too bad for you. But if this is bothering you this much, just stop watching NCIS. We are not gonna miss you, and it's stupid to suffer like that every time she's on screen honey, because it seems to be torture for you.

    Amen to that! I think Tiva's cute and Cote's character has brought a lot, and I mean a lot!, to the show. If you think losing Kate was bad, Ziva's been there for almost 6 seasons!! I like how you said it would be like Mark leaving, because that's what it would be like! Haters need to stop complaining and just watch the show as it is. I love Tiva, but I respect the storyline that EJ will bring to the show, just like Ray, so others should just stick it through like me.

    I used to hate Ziva too, because I loved kate so much. I think I could warm up to EJ, but it depends on what path the show goes with her. I know that I still hate Jeanne, so I guess it could go either way.

    EJ's okay. I one of those viewers that is ambivalent about the whole 'Tiva'. But I am not about Ziva. She's one of the main reasons I watch the show. I only watched it a couple of times before season three but I didn't love the show until Ziva came on. If CDP does not come back next season I not sure if the show going stay my favorite.
    Back to EJ..... my biggest problem with her is that I see her only to fill two possible roles.
    1. she gets knocked off at the end of season and we are suppose to care because she been on for a few episodes and Tony's going to fall for her. IMO those never work because I really don't care she's just a plot device.
    2. CDP is really leaving at the end of the season and she might be the possible replacement than I can't promise that I will like her at all. 'Cause I really don't want Cote to leave. But if they killed CPD off it would have a larger emotional imact that EJ hands down.
