    Sadly, what are the chances for it's season 3 renewal? Even if the "final" 10 episodes are as good as tonights episode was, I find it highly unlikely that it will go beyond these 10.

    According to Joe Mallozzi and Brad Wright, S3 is out of question. Maybe some movies, but no more SGU in series format.

    My thoughts are the same. Even if the show really steps it up for these back 10, the sets were probably dismantled over January and the cost to rebuild all of that alone might not make it worth it. SyFy had a decision last year, and unfortunately, most seem to think they made the wrong one. Filming would have usually resumed now so if, by some miracle, SyFy change their mind, we'd likely not get any new Stargate until mid-next year. Big, big if's, of course. A movie is their best bet, and that's still ratings and demand dependant...

    SGU is dead- the cast has their resumes out and are available for new projects. A combination of bad decisions at Syfy combined with messy storytelling are responsible for this show getting the axe. We should have had the cast coming together with a common goal mid- season 1- it would have made a much stronger show. I liked last night's episode because for once there was no backbiting among the crew. The messy politics have drug the show down over time. I was really hoping Chloe would gank Camille and get her useless self out of the picture.... I felt bad that the cute little ETs who wanted to go home sacrificed themselves. Telford back on board brings a fresh dynamic to the final episodes. Am hoping they go out solid and not with a wussy whimper.
    Still missing SGA by the way....at least Sanctuary is back this spring!
