    The story is finally picking up. Now, a bit more of character development (Sophia, Michael) and more background on the "aliens," and it'll be perfect!

    Great episode.
    Nice to see Michael (Scott Patterson) get some real face time and not begin sick or a victim etc...

    I loved the tie-in with Chernobyl and the 'tunneling' uel rods out... even if it was an obvious ploy.

    Seeing Scarface yank that ear bud out of his scarred flesh was disgusting...ly good! , but ACK! Sophia's voice was annoyign neough but now Scarface had to go and choke her... that can't improve it any....

    The turn about by Sterling on whether or not to belove Sophia adds an interesting change into the President Martiniz and Sophia Dynamic.

    Not as good as last week, but you can accomplish more in 2 hours than in one.

    I had given up on the series, but the last 3 episodes were amazing. It's picking up just like flash forward did near the end, but I hope The Event doesn't get canned like it did.

    Ugh! Don't say that... I have the same fear too! I thought the second half of Flash Forward Season One was some of the better TV on last year...

    Pretty good episode, felt like it ended abruptly though. What I can say though...I missed Taylor Cole.

    I's pretty much been following Season One of Flashforward to the letter so far, just 2 million under Flashforward in terms of viewers consistantly. The ratings dips week on week were similar, and the large hiatus in the middle in the hope of saving it...
    Flashforward premiered to 12-13 million. The Event premiered to 10-11 million.
    The last episode of the Fall for Flashforward was 7 million, for The Event just under 6 million.
    The return for Flashforward was 6.5 million, for The Event it was just over 5 million.
    Both were on the slide... I hate to say it but it's looking ominous.

    Great night of TV! First this terrific episode of The Event, followed by the excellent The Chicago Code. I was a happy viewer Monday night.

    The Event keeps the tension building, the twist and turns keep coming. Good writing of an intriguing and unique story. I'm very impressed by the acting, across the board, but at the top is the wonderful Laura Innes (yes, Darq, I know. She does have a -- distinctive? -- voice). Jason Ritter has been terrific as well.

    And Leila, Samantha, Dad, this is no ordinary family. Can't wait to see what's next for them.

    I don't dislike her as an actress or a character.... just sometimes... her voice.. I will join you in going with "distinctive" . :)

    Yeah That family has become major players in the last episodes... the more Scott Patterson the better! I think since that character returned he has added a lot in a short amount of time.
