the Caskett in me almost hoped that they would have kissed... who cares about the wires!! xD geez a kiss would have been perfect! Happiness, sadness, whatever reason would have been fine lol
Ok... This woulda gone faster if they had scientists on the case (Fringe or Bones... when they were standing around the office comparing stories I was telling them that the Fringe team woulda been out there together.. this is probs just b/c im on fringe overload right now, but kinda true.)
Also, if your stuck in a freezer you shouldn't sit down you should keep moving to keep your blood flowing, if you sit your body won't be moving the blood around as much. As much as them huddling together helped the storyline they shouldn't have just sat, they needed to keep moving friction makes heat rub your arms move your legs guys! Also, I understand why Beckett passed out first, she's smaller but how was she the first one out of hypothermia she probs woulda been down for longer then Castle.
I liked the ending with the wires and their reactions Awesome!! I liked how he pulled the whole lot of wires, that was great. But if you watch ncis and other shows you'll know that sometimes those bombs dont just stop with the first wire pulling, sometimes their are backup wires. so lets hope that wasn't the case and the bomb techs get a nasty surprise.
Good Job Alexis You saved the day! I like that Alexis' bf is a Gone with the wind reference. side note. and that Castle and Beckett can't talk about there intimate moments Although at the end of the episode I was sayin that Castle needed to make a move (like a chess board, atleast move one piece with her.) I don't think that Becketts Bf is long for the Castle world, she seems more focused on Castle, You see their hugs?
I don't like Josh. :/ He looks good, but he stay on way Caskett. And I hate when Castle wants to say something and he doesn't. He just look for Beckett so sweet <3
This episode was amazing. Yes the Josh moments were frustrating for all us shippers, but I recognize that there has to be dramz before they finally get together. LOL long time Bones fan here. I can definitely handle some long drawn out UST!
Aside from that, it was perfect. Great story and Adrian Pasdar was amazing. I wasn't familiar with him before this, but now I'm a fan. He was very very good.
Castle is definitely becoming one of my favorite shows on TV right now.
I'm with you all the way. I want them together so bad, but I'm also a long time Bones fans and if I've learned anything its surviving all the UST without anything happening haha.
I don't like Josh but I understand why they have him with Beckett. Adrian Pasdar was awesome. he was just like his character on Heroes, it was very bittersweet.
Castle is also making the ranks to one of my favorite shows, right up there with Smallville and Bones.
The storyline was fantastic...but...it's just a little incredibly heartbreaking when Beckett looks like she's just as happy with Josh as she might be with Castle. I'm not going to watch this show if they end it up like Bones; where Beckett doesn't feel as strongly as Castle does for her
Beckett does love Castle. Just as much as he loves her. She is just, still, using her brain too much and not her heart, where relationships are concerned. So, she's still with the 'safe' Josh. Though, it does look like she's started to wake up and listend to her heart instead of her brain. That look on her face (as she watched Castle walk away) in the end and how her head was turned away from Josh, while he hugged her, says a lot. It means that she's already started the process of using her heart. It will take some time, but she'll dump Josh (she's the one having too) and then start towards Castle. Think of her past and her loss of her mom and such.
And with that, this concludes my analysis of that... :)
Typical Fox News zombie; brain is too addled to handle anything resembling nuance, analysis and shades of grey. This is the type of person to whom ANY villain in any show or film MUST be some "other": Illegal brown person running dope; black crack dealers in the inner cities or turban wearing Arabs/Muslims. To this type of person, the military and/or police is some sacred cow that never has anyone who goes rogue i.e. McVeigh, John Connelly (the Boston FBI agent who also was a de facto member of the Winter Hill Gang); cops who accept bribes and favors from organized crime elements. To them, it is taboo to talk about bad guys being anything but some “other” and that white, conservative leaning Americans are always innocent of any involvement in corruption or terrorism.
Interestingly, in 1990, DIE HARD 2 had villains that had military ties who had been hired to free a drug dealing Latin American dictator from justice (based on Noriega). Did these professional whiners accuse "Hollyweird" of "liberal bias propaganda?" In 1992 in the Steven Seagal movie UNDER SEIGE, same thing: Tommy Lee Jones is an ex Special Forces or Navy SEAL commander mad at his former employer who takes a ship hostage. Again, where was the outcry?
I think that in the 1990s, there was more of a willingness to see nuance, shades of grey. Post 2001, with the 24 hour news media, particularly Fox, and the rise of AM Radio and certain blogs, people became dumbed down and the automatic or default conditioning is that any and all terrorism MUST be from Middle East jihadists. Any WASPS or white Christians within the U.S. government are selfless patriots. huluwatcher is representative of a segment that lives in a cartoon world of simple soundbite solutions to complex issues and bumper sticker (non)intellectualism; comic book IQ, thereby reducing discourse to such a level of simplistic dichotomy rather than analyze various facets of any issue and challenge prejudices and dearly held assumptions.
The scary thing is, these sub-intelligent beings whose thinking is cartoonishly frightening because they actually believe comic book simple bumper sticker slogans can actually be implemented as policy can actually vote. Democracy is where two sub-normal morons have more power than one intelligent person. Scary...
I like your comment Charlotte, but 3 seasons of Beckett controlling every situation. She keeps Castle and us just interested enough to stay around. She loves Castle, I agree, but she is not "in love" with Castle. The character of Beckett was tarnished by this episode. How can they ever go back to the great sword play that makes this show? Marlowe, the writer, just destroyed the magic and I don't see how he can get it back.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Epic episode. I love this show so much and Adrian Pasdar was fantastic!
ReplyDeletethe Caskett in me almost hoped that they would have kissed... who cares about the wires!! xD geez a kiss would have been perfect! Happiness, sadness, whatever reason would have been fine lol
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved it. But to quote Zombieland...I think Josh is a cockblocking robot developed in a secret government lab.
ReplyDeleteAwsome episode <3 but why we haven't got promo for a new episode??

Please stop calling them Caskett. Kastle rolls off the tongue a lot better.

Awesome! Nothing to complain about.
ReplyDeleteThough I could definitely use for Josh to go away, like, right now... Go off somewhere like Haiti or whatever and never come back.
Only one thing make me unhappy about this eppi: Josh. But, it's enough to make the whole eppi gloomy. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh no 3 weeks o.O it's so long...

i loved the episode but WHAT THE HELL was that ending??
ReplyDeleteI loved this episode so freaking much!
ReplyDeleteThe pathetic liberal cliché storyline insisting that Islamic extremists are not the ones trying to build a dirty bomb was obviously written for the creator's liberal cocktail circuit friends.
