Cancelled Shows Hart of Dixie Pilot ShowsAwakening (Drama)
Two sisters (Lucy Griffiths and Meredith Hagner) face off during a zombie uprising. William Laurin,
Glenn Davis, Howard T. Owens, Carolyn Bernstein and Todd Cohen will executive-produce. Brian

Cooper and Stone (Drama)
A contemporary and genuine drama centered around two young women, who are the best of
friends, facing the same personal and professional struggles as any other women their age, and
despite having their own individual styles and very different backgrounds, they share a unique
bond…they’re partnered as two of Chicago best homicide detectives. Laurie Arent will executive-
produce. Alex Breckenridge and Riley Smith will star.
Danni Lowinski (Drama)
After being brushed off by big law firms, recent grad Danni decides to open her own practice in a
shopping mall kiosk. The project comes from 90210's Jennie Snyder Urman. Amanda Walsh,
Carla Gallo, Neal Bledsoe, George Dzundza and Utkarsh Ambudkar will star.
Heavenly (Drama)
A young female attorney and a former angel-turned-human (Ben Aldridge) take on cases at a
legal-aid clinic. Richard Hatem, Rob Doherty and Ross Fineman executive-produce. Elizabeth Ho
will also star.
Hart of Dixie (Drama)
A New York City doctor (Rachel Bilson) inherits a small medical practice in the South. Gossip
Girl's Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will executive-produce. Jaime King, Cress
Williams, Nancy Travis and Wilson Bethel will also star.
Secret Circle (Drama)
Based on the three-book series from The Vampire Diaries author L.J. Smith, a young witch (Britt
Robertson) is the key to a battle between good and evil. Diaries' Kevin Williamson will executive-
produce. Thomas Dekker will also star.

Hopefully Dawn Ostroffs replacement will be drawn towards originality, not remakes.
So... a walking dead ripoff, a cop show, a legal drama, a medical drama, and 2 generic supernatural shows. Lame.
ReplyDeleteI really hope CW doesn't ruin Secret Circle. I'm already afraid for this show because Britt Robertson is in it and I really didn't like her in life unexpected. Awakening and heavenly sound a tiny bit interesting but CW can make a Sci-Fi show last so I pray this is fine but if they take Supernatural away from this I will be very upset.

ReplyDeleteI found season one of the German "Dani Lowinski" so abysmal, the lead actress is a comedian and not a very good one.
I just hope theCW didn't pay SAT1 too much for the rights of this show.
They all sound pretty terrible IMHO, but Secret Circle sounds like it could be a potential guilty pleasure for me, as long as it doesn't turn out to be Charmed Jr. :P
