Thanks to Justin for the heads up.
Two months after he suggested that Will Arnett should join The Office, both Gervais and Arnett have signed on to appear in the NBC comedy's season finale, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The hour-long episode, airing on May 19, is still being written so no word yet as to who they will play. Gervais, who created and starred in the original British production of The Office, appeared as David Brent on the U.S. version earlier this year. The upcoming episode will be Arnett's first appearance on the show.

Sounds to me like this is the Manager Job Application that'll take place in this episode.
ReplyDeleteGervais won't do more than the finale, so I think it'll be Arnett who signs on full time for next season1
Will Arnett would be a good Dunder-Mifflin manager. If his stints on Arrested Development and 30 Rock are any indications, Arnett will nail the "mischievous company man" character. No complaints here.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if want.
ReplyDeleteI agree. That fits pretty good. Arnett will take the role and run with it! Actually, I can't see it any other way, that guy is so friggin funny.
ReplyDeleteYes, Arnett is funny, but can he hold up in the shadow of the great Micheal Scott?!!
ReplyDeleteIt's driving me craaazzzzzzyyyy cause Arnett is the only name I thought of when they were looking for replacements.
If Arnett is going to be on The Office, I'm even more tempted to watch :P
