NBC must be pretty damn sure Off the Map is cancelled Martin Henderson has now been cast as the lead in their pilot The Crossing he is the second Off the Map star to join the NBC pilot as Rachelle Lefevre landed the female lead

    One leaving the show to go to The Crossing was passable, but? I can't recall a first year series losing two of its actors to a completely different series.... Frankly, it scares me a little since the chemistry was not that great from the little of Off The Map that I saw.

    If any more cast members are signed on to The Crossing they may as well just call it On the Map, Revolutionary Map, or Off the Plantation or something... Seriously. If the cast of a series doesn't work well enough to save it in its first season, why transplant said unsuccessful cast into a new series? Odd.

    Love Martin and Rachelle's characters in Off the Map, so if the show is indeed cancelled... (though, based on current storylines, it could be argued the characters might just be leaving.... hate to see that happen, but I'd hate to see the show gone even more, as it's really quite good!).... I'll still look forward to watching them in the new NBC show. Let's just hope *it* doesn't suffer the dreaded NBC curse.

    I must be retarded but who did Henderson play on the show?! Not to mention maybe before signing off to do another show maybe they should actually be sure that Off The Map is for sure cancelled. I'm sure it will be but as of yet it's not.

    The fact that Rachelle Lefevre has landed a role in another pilot was to be suspected since her character is going to NYC for a heart transplant after which she cannot return to the jungle, but the fact that now Martin Henderson has been cast in a pilot doesn't sound so good =(

    Damn, I really liked Off The Map too. Normally in this situation I would be happy to see cast mates land leading roles opposite one another, but I really didn't think they had much chemistry on off the map...
