Battlestar Galactica alumna Katee Sackhoff has been cast as the female lead opposite Robert Taylor in A&E's hourlong pilot Longmire. Also cast in the project, based on the Walt Longmire Mystery series of novels by Craig Johnson, are Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase and Cassidy Freeman.

How could no one not like Katee Sackhoff? She was amazing on Battlestar and when she did Bionic WOman she was so much better as the lead actrees, it killed the show! I can't wait too see her on anything!
