HBO has officially ended its sessions with "In Treatment."
Series, which ran for three seasons on the pay cabler, will not go forward with a fourth. "In Treatment" was based on an Israeli format in which a psychologist saw a range of clients, as well as seeing his own therapist. The Israeli version ran for only two seasons and the HBO version used the same storylines.

That show made me want to put a gun in my mouth, so no surprise...
ReplyDeleteThis saddens me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't understand the love for it either, bored the hell outta me lol
ReplyDeleteI get that its not for some people but it helped people to recognize and deal with issues that may not have realized they had. Besides that it was one of the best written shows on television, name any other show with the balls to have EVERY episode consist of two people face to face, conversing? We are poorer for having lost this gem.
ReplyDeleteI like slow moving character driven pieces with good actors... but I could not get into In Treatment even. I am more surprised it made it this long.
ReplyDeletenot surprising at all considering how bad the ratings where it couldn't even manage to get 200,000 viewers and was usualy a 0.0/0 A18-49
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best acted and written shows I've ever seen in my life, the news saddens me but not surprises me since the ratings have been worst than awful the whole season.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, I loved watching it. Terrific acting.
