  2. So ANOTHER episode that is basically all about Callie. I thought this show was called 'Grey's Anatomy', yet it's never really about Grey. Not since Season 5. What does that say about those of us who have watched it since ep 1? We must be idiots.

  3. I bet Callie is injured somehow and the baby is in danger that is why kate walsh is returning.

  4. Ya I like Callie and everything Calzona is one of my favorite couples...but so is MerDer. And like you said it is called GREYS Anatomy!

  5. To be fair, the Greys have kind of got boring. Most peoples favourite character isn't actually Meridith. After Izzie left my fave is Callie and I welcome the focus :)

  6. I think Arizona and Callie are in a car accident or something.

  7. To be fair Callie's storyline sucks as and is predictable saw it coming a mile away and it also childish. I used to love Callie but have ruined it for me this season. At least Meredith doesn't get childish storylines anymore and Meredith has a lot fans, they just don't post in any forum.

  8. To be fair Meredith's infertility and Cristina's PTSD had been the best storylines this season, the most human and emotional ones. Callie may be the focus of the show now but her storyline sucks ass and is predictable, everything that is going to happened I saw happening a mile away. I used to love Callie but they had ruined her character for me. I don't not want to see Callie whining anymore. Furthermore Meredith hasn't been the focus in 3 seasons, and unfortunately is not the focus now, since her storyline is more interesting. I don't get why every Callie's fan I welcome the change, if the focus changed back in season 5.

  9. To be fair? Doesn't sound like being fair to me. The show is called Grey's Anatomy because in the very first season there were so few character, it was just way easier to focus on Meredith. And back then, her relationship with McDreamy was still fresh and interesting. Over the seasons it just got annoying, this on-and-off-and-on-and-off thing and every single MerDer fan was pissed off. Now they're a couple, they're married and please tell me, what kind of storyline would you give them so they had more screentime? Infertility is just not something you can bend so much. You should definately be happy that they sealed the deal and not complain that there's just not so much left to tell. MerDer is getting appropriate storylines for a married couple and therefore an appropriate amount of screentime. And don't get me wrong, I love MerDer. More Mer than Der, but anyway.

It's natural that you just can't keep on focusing on one couple over 7 freaking seasons. If Shonda was actually focusing on them all the time you would just get bored. Be happy.

Now I also think the baby storyline is a bit boring and it has a negative connotation because Mark's in it. I'd rather Callie and Arizona had a baby on their own. But at least it's a story and it revolves around three popular characters. So I'm glad that at least it's Callie and Arizona with that much screentime and not Owen or Richard.

  10. If Callie storyline were better I wouldn't mind see her on my screen every episode, but her storyline is not better, all she does is whine and praise Mark when he acts like an adult and doesn't give Arizona an inch. Frankly is not just MerDer who are not getting appropriate storyline, for the benefit of CAM baby crappy storyline, Jackson PTSD not address, April not develop, Bailey is out of character, Cristina and Owen are getting worse treatment than MerDer, and Derek as individual, character (Derek after all is an individual character apart from Meredith) is not getting anything, at least we are see Meredith being frustrated with her inability to get pregnant, but does Derek have any feeling over their predicament, we don't see it. Shoot Ellen Pompeo said in an interview that the storyline she discussed with Shonda for Meredith this season, is not fully shown in the final cut of the episode, meaning that there is so many things going on that depth of storyline suffered greatly. I haven't mind MerDer little screen time in 3 seasons because honestly that was going to happen if they got together for good, given the nature of this show, but seriously what we are getting with Callie, Arizona and Mark is crap.

To further annoy me the fact that Mark is involve in the storyline pissed me off to no end. I have never like Mark, and I don't get how anyone can like a character so sleazy and disloyal as he is. I mean the guy betrayed his best friend and how can anyone trust someone like that, I don't get how Callie can do it.

If I were getting quality of storyline then I would not mind watching Callie and Arizona, but I'm not getting quality at all. All I'm getting is quantity with no substance and quantity doesn't make a good storyline.

  11. I think you're just obsessing over this. There have been MerDer centered episodes, there have been Cristina centered episodes, there have been Izzie centered episodes. Everyone was in the focus of an episode at some point and you really can't argue that every single episode, let alone the whole seventh season, is about Callie, Arizona and Mark. They're all equal characters of a show, which is the reason why some episodes are about Mer ("Golden Hour") and some are about Callie and Arizona and right now they've just got the bigger storyline. The baby thing, as boring and annoying as it may come off for some people, is just way more expandable than MerDers infertility at this point. And as we all now the finale's gonna be about MerDer anyway.

  12. That where you are wrong I am not obsessing over this at all. In my original post if you read correctly I wasn't even complaining about MerDer screen time, because I rather not seeing them if seeing them means that they will get the crap drama that Callie, Arizona and Mark are getting.

BTW Callie's baby storyline is not more expandable, the only thing that they writers can do with them, is silly things like arguing about stupidity such as coffee, and vagina's votes, and have Mark throw hissing fits everything Callie and Arizona don't take his opinion into account. Or have Callie get hit by a bus so they can do a musical episode which takes place in Callie's head and can bring Addison once again to save the baby and Callie.
The writers can do whatever they want, but if they are going to do this crap, maybe they should just not show it to us on every freaking episode. Maybe have some of the storyline develop off screen like the rest of the storyline develops lately.

  14. Wow, you need to find something in real life to do if you can spend so much time dwelling on the stupid story lines on Grey's Anatomy. It's a TV SHOW. Only supposed to be there to entertain us and that is all.
