All this hype generated by the question "what happens to the universes after the machine is used?" is really reminding me of the question "what happens when they used the Jughead bomb on the exotic matter pocket?" in LOST.
But knowing Fringe, they won't make us wait until next season to at least get a glimpse of what happens next! :)
That's very true. This whole race to prevent the end of the world does rely on the use, or lack of use, of a mystery machine, just like in LOST.
It probably reminded me of Jughead cause of the question of the aftermath. We've always been told when they collide, one will survive, so that makes the chances for either at 50/50, at least based on the info we've been given so far.
And in LOST when the bomb went off, we thought they'd be stuck in the past, or move to the future, a 50/50 chance for either. But I think both happening is a valid outcome for Fringe too, the universes merging possibly, or both being destroyed somehow.
But I know it'll probably be something even crazier than that and I can't wait.
Either sleeping, dreading school or, if its on a weekend, I'll have just started work. In either case, two universes colliding would be much more exciting.
I'd like to think I would be in bed, but given my history of the past decade or more.... I wager I will be sipping tea and hating the sun as it rises mocking me and making my ability to fall asleep that much harder...
Thanks! It gets better in Spring (weather wise, not just the date) when I can go outside and be active to tire myself out.Until then.... there's always reruns and DVDs...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
06:02 AM? Sleeping and not wanting to go to school :(
ReplyDeleteDon't worry then, pretty sure 'the end of the world' will mean you won't have to go to school. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll be in bed at 3 in the morning watching it on B3rt4's live stream!
ReplyDelete06:02 am ??? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US FRINGE ????
ReplyDeleteBwah ha ha
ReplyDeleteMe too!
My mom had to go to school on a day when the world was supposed to end.
ReplyDeleteLooks epic. 6:02 AM I'll either be asleep or listening to talk radio. :/

it more or less reminded me of the "what happens if the swan countdown runs to zero" thingy as it was supposed to end the world then
ReplyDeleteI will be making an offering to the gods that Fringe is allowed to play out its entire story in seasons 5-8.
ReplyDeleteAll hail Kevin Riley.

ReplyDeleteHmmm it looks like 6:O2 as opposed to 6:02. Typo or some greater significance? O2 for Oxygen?
ReplyDeleteYes come to think of it i do remember school hardly ever giving way to anything, much to my younger-self's chagrin!!
ReplyDeletei think that's just the typeface they used. it's definitely 6:02 as it's part of an upcoming episode title.
ReplyDeleteSchool sucks. :/
ReplyDeleteThis promo is epic. I absolutely love this type of promotion.

ReplyDeleteMuch dislike for this! My best friend has a chronic case of insomnia and it's so hard to watch her try and sleep, I hope things get easier for you. :)
