Back for an eighth season this summer, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE kicks off with a two-hour premiere Thursday, May 26 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Hosted by Cat Deeley, the hit dance competition series will inspire and amaze viewers as dancers skilled in styles ranging from hip-hop to ballroom compete to be named America’s Favorite Dancer. This season’s auditions feature resident judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, as well as guest judges Robin Antin, Lil C, Tyce Diorio, Toni Redpath and Jason Gilkison. Once the auditions conclude, weekly two-hour performance shows will air Wednesdays (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), and weekly results shows will air Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), followed by encore episodes of GLEE (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

World-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and chef Graham Elliot return to challenge a new batch of hopefuls on the second season of hit culinary competition series MASTERCHEF beginning Monday, June 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). America’s best amateur cooks from all walks of life will compete two nights a week for the coveted white apron Mondays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

Chef Ramsay takes over Tuesdays when HELL’S KITCHEN starts cooking July 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) following all-new episodes of MASTERCHEF. HELL’S KITCHEN puts aspiring restaurateurs through an intense culinary academy as Ramsay seeks out the one chef who possesses the right combination of ingredients to win the life-changing grand prize.

Starting June 3, FOX Fridays lead with encores of BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) featuring the investigative work of fearless forensic duo Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), followed by encores of LIE TO ME (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) starring Tim Roth as deception expert Cal Lightman.

  1. Is encore supposed to sound more exciting than rerun? :-)

  2. interesting Lie to Me at friday 9 pm bones at friday 8 preparations for fall?

  3. Hopefully it's an indication of a Lie To Me renewal.

  4. No Fringe but Lie To Me... hmmmmmmmm

  5. The thing that scares me from this is The Chicago Code Saturdays at 9pm (Time Period Premiere). Are they going to move it to Saturdays? I know it's only reruns, but still....

  6. I'd be very very surprised if they moved it to a Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I've never seen a show being aired on Saturday tbh

    ReplyDelete
  8. probably means they're cancelling it if they wanted to renew it it would be friday 9 pm

    ReplyDelete
  9. That's how i read into it too... :(

  10. Before everybody goes all "cancel happy" regarding Fringe not being on the Summer RERUN schedule, Fox didn't air repeats of Fringe for the last two summers either. Think of that.

  11. I'm sure the schedule above doesn't mean anything, but if they renew Lie to Me and Traffic Light & cancel Fringe and Human Target (which don't have reruns apparently), I know what I'm going to do this summer : I'm going all Tony Montana at the FOX building in LA.

If Fringe is lacking, it's probably because it's not a show easy to rerun, FOX never programmed encores of 24 throughout the summers of the last decade for instance. And that, to me, is the proof of a quality television, a show that you cannot just sit in front of whenever you decided to. I'm not worried, the show is gonna get a 4th season.

I think it's a stupid move to program reruns of Traffic Light, which is 99% sure to get cancelled (and rightfully so, it sucks). They should program 2 episodes of Raising Hope back to back in order to rerun the whole season. It would last 11 weeks (almost 3 months) so it would fit from June to August, but instead with their schedule including Traffic Light they can only air 13/14 episodes out of 22, that's weird.

  12. TL/ RH are not rerunning al summer only until July when hell's kitchen replaces both

    ReplyDelete
  13. Oh okay, so it's only 5 reruns of Raising Hope this summer then. Besides The Chicago Code, it looks like they don't like to rerun their best shows (Fringe, Raising Hope, Human Target).

    ReplyDelete
  14. idk if I got this right, but is The Chicago Code going to premiere on Saturdays??????

by the time June 25th comes, the season would end! it's only 10 episodes o_O

    ReplyDelete
  15. No, they are repeats (encores)

  16. With the X-Factor, reports I've read say that FOX only has room on its roster for 1 of these dramas to return. It will be Fringe, Chicago Code, OR Lie to Me. If that's the case, it will be showing reruns of shows that will not be airing come fall.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So by that logic does it mean tha FRINGE will return for another season since they won't air reruns? Hmmm.. I suppose it could just be FRINGE is so serialized at times it does not make for good summer sporadic viewing....but I prefer your logic!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sorry, it just means that at least 1 show being rerun in the summer will not be back in the fall. In other words, just because it's showing reruns doesn't make it a lock for renewal. Conversely, it doesn't mean that Fringe is definitely out of the running.

In fact, what it really means is that FOX has too many freaking hours of unscripted junk. Scale that back and there's room for everything.

    ReplyDelete
  19. For Fringe viewers, someone at Fox has tweeted that Fringe will be in repeats over the summer, but it will be on late Saturdays. Don't know if that helps.

  20. I don't like the Friday Bones+LTM situation. O.o It frightens me quite a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  21. They already repeat at 11 on Saturday, I believe, so that makes sense.

no worries, its just encores, not the Fox Fall 2011 schedule

Idk why people are getting nervous, this is all just re-runs for the summer, it doesn't mean that it will be the Fox Fall 2011 time slots

  24. I quit watching Lie to Me, but didn't they do a back 9 episodes last Summer? I would think it does mean something for them to give Season One and Season Two a full 22 episodes, but cut Season Three off at 13 episodes. It may not mean cancellation, but it does mean they think less of it than last Summer in my mind.

    i don't watch LTM, so i'm not sure =\

  26. I hope this gives us Lie to me fans some hope of renewal!!!
I love the whole Bones/Lie to me encore situation! Big fans of both... :)

  27. Fox needs to take off those Traffic Light repeats, and replace them with Raising Hope. We all know Traffic Light is getting canceled anyway, and Raising Hope has potential to be a big hit for Fox.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh! didn't know that .. thanks =)
