The son (Trip) is played by Ryan Wynott (Flash Forward) and his wife (Dana) by Jennifer Ferrin (Life On Mars).
With a strong desire to reunite with his family, Vince decides to battle the forces that have overtaken Palm City. In retaliation Vince becomes “The Cape”. “the Cape” is his son’s favourite comic book hero and he begins to take the law into his own hands. James Frain (The Tudors) plays his nemesis who moonlights as the actual killer. Max Malini is the leader of a circus gang who mentor him and train him to be “THE CAPE”.

My sincerest apologies to Australia from the United States.
ReplyDeleteOH GOD!
ReplyDeleteQUICK, HIDE THE CHILDREN!!!!
I understand NBC airing the series (kinda), I mean they invested time and money into it, but did whatever Aussie network picked up not watch it first? Seriously 7Mate, save yourselves some money, buy rights to air The Tick instead! A better hero at a cheaper price.... and c',mon it's Nestor Carbonnel as Batmanuel!

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Gee, thanks America. You really are good to us.
ReplyDeleteI think that the only reason that they bought the rights to the show was because David Lyons is on it. Whenever an Australian make it onto an American TV show its a pretty big deal as it doesn't happen that often. So then the channel can advertise it as "support one of only a select few that have made an appearance on an American television show"
ReplyDeleteI liked the Cape and thought it was just starting to get interesting when it was canceled (I'm assuming it is despite seeing an official announcement. What I don't understand is why anyone would want to buy a series that ends in 10 episodes when it clearly wasn't designed to.
