Announcing the SpoilerTV Image Archive Gallery (*Updated 27th Jan 2012)

Update: 27th Jan 2012 We're pleased to say that we now have over 65,000 Images in our Gallery and over 5500 Albums totalling a whopping 40GB+ of diskspace.

Thanks to all our great helpers in getting so many images uploaded.

Update: 7th April Another large batch over old shows have been added to the Gallery, including Crash, Big Day, Bleak House, Boy Meets World, Cane, Cashmere Mafia, Commander in Chief as well a new movie images/posters etc.

Update: 5th April We now have over 23,000 images in the gallery for you to enjoy.

Update: 27th March A big thanks to darq and Jenny for adding a bunch more images and shows to the Gallery and to Adam for keeping things nicely organised. We now have over 20,000 Images and 1,400+ albums in the gallery. We have also got a Movies section which we will start to fill. The Gallery is now available from the main navigation menu at the top for easy access.

Recently updated/added shows include: Community, Californication, The Event, Boston Legal, BSG, Deadwood, Better Off Ted, Men in Trees, Samantha Who, Greek, Jake 2.0, Huge, Lipstick Jungle, Less Than Perfect, 24, Bionic Woman, Kings, Big Shots, Back to You, Invasion, Defying Gravity to name but a few.

Also, we've improved the embed codes that you can use on your own site and we've also give you the ability to Facebook "Like/Recommend" individual photos. So if you see a photo you like, just the button and all your friends and family will automatically see the image on their wall.

Update: 26th March We've been adding a bunch more shows archive/old shows section of the gallery. We now have over 17,000 images in the Gallery. Thanks to Jenny from http://www.fractured-simplicity.net/ for helping us backfill some of the older shows.

Update: 24th March Thanks to Sasha for the idea, that we've now added a new Top Level Gallery called Pilot/New Shows which will have all the new and pilot shows.

As we teased earlier, we're pleased to announce the opening of the our very own Image Archive Gallery!

It's been probably one of the most requested features from all the great feedback people have been giving us and after a LOT of work we're please to announce that we finally after 4 years have our own gallery.

Now, before I get into how to use it, how you can embed images on your own site, it would not be fair to begin without thanking a few people who have made this possible.

First and foremost a MASSIVE thanks to our very own SpoilerTV reader, Darq, who has given up countless hours and provided us with a huge amount of his personally collected photos. A big big thanks my friend. I'd also like to thank b3rt4 for his help in uploading, as well as providing invaluable testing and info. Also, a big thanks to Adam our Community Manager here at SpoilerTV for helping configure the albums, descriptions and show icons. It's been a lot of work and without their help it would not have been possible.

Ok, lets get to the details.

1) The Gallery currently has over 13,000 Images in some 1000+ Albums!
2) This is just a fraction of what we hope to upload over the coming week/months.
3) To Access the Gallery just goto this link SpoilerTV Gallery
4) The Gallery will be added to the main menu later today.
5) All Shows are listed Alphabetically and all current/new shows will be on the Main Gallery page
6) For Cancelled/Old/Retired Shows, they can be found via the Archived/Old Show Album. It's a great way to remember some of our old favourite shows.



7) The Gallery might initially be a little slow but that is due to the number of photos we're still uploading as well as everyone clicking on the link to view it. This will improve shortly.
8) Each show we've tried to split into Seasons and also Cast Promotional and Wallpers/Posters etc
9) We hope to add other Categories to each show to include Albums such as Set Photos, Fan Art, DVD Covers etc.
10) We will also be posting all the Promotional Photos and Set Photos etc that we normally post on this gallery and this will allow you to copy the images very easily for posting onto your own site/blog. When you are on an album which shows all the Thumbnails, at the bottom of this screen is the embed code that you can simply copy and paste onto your site.



10) Remember this is an ongoing exercise and we hope to continue to add new content. If you see a show missing or photos missing this is to be expected.
11) We're still updating some of the artwork for the Show logos on each page but this again will be an ongoing thing.
12) You can search for a show, actor, character and it should return where possible the Albums that they are in



13) Also, at the bottom of the screen is a link to the Archive View, this is not the same as the Archived/Old Shows above but tries to list all photos by Year/Date taken.



14) You can also subscribe to any Album, Sub-Albums RSS feed to obtain updates when new photos are added to the album. The RSS Feed link is displayed at the bottom of the page next to the Archive View link as shown above.
