  1. Thank God! Thinking that it could work out between Erica and Hobbes when he basically destroyed her life is insane!
And I want our old Erica back! I think I'm starting to like all the other character more than her!

  4. Yesss! However it doesn't say we have anything romantically to look forward too.. it may just mean they have some really good scenes together.

  5. No, I like her and hobbes, een thogh it might be problems when she finds out that he killed her husband..

  6. I'm so happy for this. It makes the sneak peeks for this week a lot easier to take. Yes, it's completely vague, but after the sneak peeks, my hopes for them had basically been crushed. (Especially sneak peek #3)

  7. Hobbes/Erica have so much more chemistry than Jack/Erica. :( I hope Gregg Hurwitz simply meant that there are scenes to look forward to because romantic!Jack/Erica = incredibly unappealing.

  8. Kyle didn’t destroy her life. He was forced to kill Eli and his men to keep someone he was once in love with alive. He’s not necessarily still in love with her, people move on after 5 years, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still care, or that he would have let her die. The place was surrounded by feds. There was no way they were getting out alive. Someone with Kyle’s experience would have known that. Anyway there was a V around there, the one who let Joe in, who could easily slip into the crowd and set off the explosion if Kyle didn’t, so it wouldn’t have made a difference if he refused. It was interesting to see the big bad mercenary, even under those circumstances, barely bring him self to press the button. If anything, that scene showed that, working with Erica&co, he’s starting to regrow a conscience. He had no idea the gunfire was going to start. The cell members should have died in the explosion, the FBI don’t open fire on civilians, and the hostages were far enough from the building for the explosion to not affect them. What happened was completely unforeseen. Then there’s his shocked expression when he saw what happened and the guilt when talking to Erica in the basement. And now he’s determined to make it up to her. “I’m with you, Erica, come what bloody may”:
“We’re gonna get your kid back, I promise.”
I love the kickass Erica. She’s the leader of the Resistance, I’d hate to see her reduced to a damsel in distress

  9. It should make for some interesting scenes though and I hope she eventually forgives him. After all, he’s the only character who supported her, encouraged her, promised to help her. That should also count for something
And “the human queen and her warrior” just sounds too good
    Badass Erica rocks

  10. Hopefully we'll get some more info on this soon.

  11. So, he feels guilty. It doesn't change the fact that his actions killed lots of people (some of them died because they were hit by pieces of the building) and Joe died too. And for what? for a woman he doesn't even love? I don't believe it sorry! He could have confessed this to Erica but he didn't because he knows she is gonna kill him when she finds out! And what's worst.. he sleeps with her so she would feel even more guilty in the end!

And if you think that "I'm willing to kill innocent people"- Erica is better than the old Erica then good for you! I don't like it at all!

    ReplyDelete
  12. You're not seeing the bigger picture. Erica isn't willing to kill innocent people for the sake of killing innocent people. She's doing it FOR THE SAKE OF saving the rest of the 7 billion people in the world.

Before, with her unwilling to take action just because a few lives were at stake, it would have eventually lead to Anna's plan succeeding. Then ALL innocent lives would have been wiped out, let alone those few lives.

  13. Sorry I still think there is another way! But that's just me!

    ReplyDelete
  14. If they find a way to stop Anna without risking any lives, I have no doubt that they'll do it. You can’t blame Erica in case the writers never offer one

As for Kyle, there isn’t a single character on the show that never got innocent people killed. Confessing it to Erica wouldn’t have changed anything. Staying by her side and helping fix things with Tyler at least would

  15. Please, no! Erica should be with Hobbes!

  16. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree that confessing it to Erica wouldn't change anything. That information is something she would want to know before hooking up with him. In fact, I think him confessing it to her would change everything. I definitely think he would be kicked out of their group. Remember her reaction to Ryan betraying them? Sure, staying by her side and helping to fix things with Tyler can help, but she needs people that she can depend on. Now that Hobbes has betrayed the 5th column twice (neither time has been exposed yet), I'm not sure he is someone she can depend on. (The first time being last season when he stole that scientists research and gave half of it to Marcus, all without the knowledge of Erica and the group).

  17. I've lost complete respect for Kyle. He knows what he's done. Not only did he push the button that got Joe killed, he knows that this is what pushed Ty away from Erica once and for all. Yeah, maybe a real V would have shown up and done it but maybe not and now they know they own him. He sacrificed all those people, all that info/tech, things that might have saved humanity, for one person. He knows he's been bought and paid for as a V stooge and that he's toxic to the Reistance group. He's supposed to be this mastermind war strategist and yet he sticks around waiting, knowing the Vs are going to give him more orders that will compromise the Resistance's plans. He's jeopardizing everybody to save one person, whom he assumes is still alive based on a two second recorded message. Some strategist. And now, when Erica is leading a bunch of men who are looking for any reason to doubt her skills and her loyalty, he does what he does in the sneak peak, know that could/will cause inner circle turmoil. Though I'm not loving the "new" Erica, I can give her a temporary pass because she's new at this. Hobbes is supposed to the veteran. He should recognize that Erica needs support right now, not another reason to feel guilt (and you know she'll feel guilt) He should have recognized that he's a huge liability now and turned back into a ghost for the sake of humanity's mission. But no, better to stick around in the hopes that the woman you've been lusting after will sleep with you before she finds out what you've really done. Screw Earth so you can screw Erica, eh, Kyle?....

  18. Both Erica/Hobbes and Erica/Jack have appeal for me. V is a great show. I don't understand why people care so much about romance there.

  19. YES! Jack and Erica forever! The thing with Hobbes felt so wrong, and it's kinda doomed. Thanks for the news!

  22. When I said it wouldn’t change anything, I meant it wouldn’t do any good. Sure, it would change his position with the group and Erica would stop trusting him. But it wouldn’t offer any new information about the Vs and it sure as hell wouldn’t change what happened. Erica and The Resistance could use all the help they can get though and Kyle is determined to set things right. If he tells them the truth, he won’t get a chance to. He can’t prove he has good intentions. As for the first time he contacted Marcus, you have to understand his past. He kept being framed for different crimes he didn’t commit, the whole Fbi was looking for him and Erica blackmailed him into joining the group. There was a scene between them, in episode 10: Erica:“Now that you’re a prime suspect in the bombing, it’s going to be even more dangerous for us to be seen with you.” Kyle: “uh… We did this. You’d better have my back” Erica:didn’t respond. He spent 5 years on his own or in the company of other criminals who double-cross each other every time. He wasn’t used to working with good people anymore, so he thought she’d turn him in eventually and let him take the fall for their attacks. That’s probable why he made a deal with Marcus. He changed a lot since then, and before Thomas threatened him, he refused to work with them again.

  23. Joe was killed by a sniper, Kyle didn’t know that would happen, and he want to help Erica get Tyler back. If nobody triggered the explosion all that info/tech would have been confiscated by the fbi and the feds would have shot all the people inside. Eli, Anna and Chris (Erica’s partner) all said they expected that to happen. Not saying he didn’t do a bad thing, but he’s not as guilty as you make him sound either. He’s not a stooge, the Vs don’t even know he’s Fifth Column. He’s not sticking around waiting, he’s helping the Resistance take Anna down and this season he’s done almost half the work of the whole group. He may be a war strategist, but he’s not superman, there’s only so much he can do. Yes, Erica does need support, especially now, and he’s the one who’s supported her the most. He does everything she says, even when he doesn’t like it, he never criticizes her, he encourages her when she’s down. He never planed to sleep with her. In the preview he was as surprised, conflicted and emotional as she was. As for him taking a 2 second statement on the phone as proof of life and not even asking to talk to her, I agree, that was stupid. Not his fault, though, it was just bad writing, like the fact that Thomas knew exactly where to find him, on a deserted ally.

  24. Jack/Erica sucks! Their story is boring! I used to like Jack/Erica at the beginning (now, I fall asleep) but since Hobbes came in the show, everything changed! Something strong, a special bond. I am still convinced that Hobbes is THE MAN that Erica needs the most, especially since what happened when her family was destroyed (I am not talking about the explosion in Siege, I am talking about what happened to Evans family since Erica and Joe were together before Tyler's birth). Jack always stopped Erica in her actions because of his morals, Hobbes is the man who acts, no matters the consequences (not only about Siege).

For Jack/Erica shippers : Have you ever, even for a second, imagined being in Hobbes position ? What would you do? Would you sacrifice the woman you loved or save the world? BTW, Hobbes DID NOT kill Joe, a V sniper did. Hobbes was forced to kill Eli and his guilty prouves one thing : He a good guy. Don't you remember that Hobbes was a SAS before being mercenary ?

    Hobbes/Erica rules!!!!!!!
