Love that Rufus is here. And a guy just randomly opens fire on people? Combining this with the promo seems a lot like croatoan virus...even though I tell myself it can't possibly be it.
Ditto. This clip, along with the 30 second promo are very underwhelming. If it wasn't for the synopsis released a while back, I'd still have no idea what this episode was about. A wag of the finger to the CW for some poor promotion this week.
I may be in minority, but Bobby and Rufus don't really make me excited. I really hope there's much more to this episode than these two teaming up, otherwise I'm gonna be bored to death.
I really wish I didn't know this. It makes going into the episode both exciting because he and Bobby will be working together again, but also bittersweet since it will be the last time. I will miss you Rufus.
Nah - it would be too easy with every hunter leaving their DNA all over the crime scene. Has any hunter ever tried wearing gloves before picking up the murder weapon?
:DDD I found out like 5mins. so freaking out. I had totaly forgotten about this ahahah! What did you get? I have to think about it long hahaha. My friends told me to choose 3 dvd for christmass and I have regrets lol! (one of them is 90210, WAIST!) any way HAppy ME! ahahha. Funny how winners are mostly spn fans hahaha. we are loud haha
I just loved Rufus in WAB, ever since then I've wanted to see him in more eps. Somehow he didn't hit my cool-radar until that moment. Bobby has grown on me and continues to grow on me more and more. I just wanna hug him and give him peach cobbler.
While I love meta, I'm looking forward to getting this story arc rolling with the Mother and the Purgatory issue. /drools
I'm right there with you. As much as I love Bobby...WAB was probably the most boring episode this season. So I hope there are much more of our boys in the actual episode.
And I really thouht I was the only one who thought so! great to have you ;) and for the record, I love Bobby too and I think he looks totally awesome in this clip :)
I thought it was boring too and I didn't like the way Bobby was characterized...but it was directed well! I suspect a lot of fans said they liked/loved the eppy because JA directed it.
You don't need to accuse the fans of being a majority of people judging the episode just cause of Jensen directing. I love that episode and it has nothing to do with Jensen directing, it was a great episode, with many funny moments and a very unexpected ending with the boys going in Scottland or the salt and burn the demons. Its fun once in a while not knowing at the beginning of the episode what the plan is going to be
Should be interesting to watch because I know more about this episodes behind the scenes than any other. I'm happy everyone's well again because this had to be one miserable shoot. Flu and freezing rain don't mix.
So what type of music do you think will be on this episode? I've been noticing that each episode lately seems to be styled after a different genre, and the background music for that episode matches the theme. In Unforgiven we had music similar to that heard in old noir films from the 60s and 70s. In Mannequin we had background soap opera music. In French Mistake we had Italian Godfather-style music during the shooting scene.
This episode seems to be styled after an Agatha Christie novel. In her murder mystery In Then There Were None, a group of strangers are brought to an island and then killed off one by one. From this clip we see Bobby and Rufus making a reference to independently following a trail of crazy to the same location. We know the boys will make there there too, possibly by following their own trail, and the Samuel somehow ends up with them as well - so this plot seems to be structured similar to the Christie book. So what type of music usually accompanies a murder mystery? Any ideas?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I thought I was watching a CBS show for a second there.

ReplyDeleteI was gonna comment on his beard as well! This is the first time I've seen him so "clean" and "crisp". It was almost like watching CSI LOL

ReplyDeleteLove that Rufus is here. And a guy just randomly opens fire on people? Combining this with the promo seems a lot like croatoan virus...even though I tell myself it can't possibly be it.
ReplyDeleteThis was probably the only minute + clip they could show from this episode.
ReplyDeleteBobby and Rufus sure cleans up well! What handsome men.
ReplyDeleteYes! This is how I imagined a Bobby-Rufus Supernatural spin-off would be. I love these two together. I'm excited about this one.

Yay, Bobby and Rufus! They should have a spin-off.
ReplyDeleteI may be in minority, but Bobby and Rufus don't really make me excited. I really hope there's much more to this episode than these two teaming up, otherwise I'm gonna be bored to death.
ReplyDeleteHeh, Rufus remind you of anyone (Hint: a certain older brother!)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being the Feb. commentator winner. What are you going to get with your prize money?
ReplyDeleteI really wish I didn't know this. It makes going into the episode both exciting because he and Bobby will be working together again, but also bittersweet since it will be the last time. I will miss you Rufus.

ReplyDeleteI always wondered that! But, then again, they always burn everything anyway!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you. As much as I love Bobby...WAB was probably the most boring episode this season. So I hope there are much more of our boys in the actual episode.
ReplyDeleteAnd I really thouht I was the only one who thought so! great to have you ;)
ReplyDeleteand for the record, I love Bobby too and I think he looks totally awesome in this clip :)
Is this the episode that had all the actors deathly sick all at the same time?
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing Bobby and Rufus all dressed up as agents! It is finally someone else's turn besides Sam and Dean. Cannot wait for this one on Friday!
ReplyDeleteYeah everyone but Jared
ReplyDeleteI thought it was boring too and I didn't like the way Bobby was characterized...but it was directed well! I suspect a lot of fans said they liked/loved the eppy because JA directed it.

ReplyDeleteNot for me. I loved it because of Bobby. Jensen's directing was just an added bonus.
