Its so good to see them working together like this. Just to look at them in this hall when they are investigating. Sam seems okay, he is like a tumbler! Dean looking at the "puppet" -hilarious!!!
I think we just got a glimpse of Sam's wall leaking. I am not thinking that he is at any type of emotional break as of yet with the wall collapsing. I imagine seeing pieces and then the whole picture when it is time. I have a feeling Sam will keeping scratching at the wall. When do Sam and Dean ever do anything easy. HA HA. Love the Chucky doll reference this should turn out to be an interesting episode because mannequins can be creepy looking. Can't wait until Friday.
Ha! So all the humor that was supposed to be in Unforgiven fled the spider lady and came to this episode. Welcome my friend. I sadly missed you last episode.
I think the events of UNFORGIVEN were supposed to be a lesson for Sam-DON'T SCRATCH! I know it's in Sam's nature to leave no stone unturned but that leak in his wall was just a small taste of things to come if he continued to sneak peaks over it. He needs to put RoboSam's actions behind him or there's going to quite literally be hell to pay. I though it was a very clever way for the writers to move on from Sam's guilt trip over RoboSam's actions and a good reminder of what could happen to Sam at any given time if he doesn't let go and move on.
Dolls coming to life is one one of my biggest and most irrational fears. Blame' CHILD'S PLAY' for that, I haven't been able to keep a single doll or even stuffed toy in my room since I saw the movie when I was little. I always feel that their eyes are just watching me.
I hate Mannequins, especially naked ones with limbs missing, posing in unnatural angels in shop windows. So creepy.
Aw, Pigeon, you're killing my optimism with the LFoT. It's going to be funny - physical humor, one-liners, pop references, lots and lots of snark. I have deemed it so. :-P
I hope so but, according to the synopsis, Dean leaves when Ben asks him to come home so Sam will be dealing with the mannequin stuff mostly on his own. That probably means Dean will be left with the serious story in this episode while Sam gets the weird case. Seeing as how Sam doesn't get nearly the amount of one-liners, snark, and pop culture references that Dean does, Pigeon666 could very well be right.
Cynical: of or related to the belief that human actions are motivated only or primarily by base desires or selfishness; skeptical of the integrity, sincerity, or motives of others; bitterly or jadedly distrustful or contemptuous; mocking; showing contempt for accepted moral standards by one's actions.
Forget the optimism. You two are killing me. My head says that I will be crying in my soup because Lisa and Dean will officially be over and I hate that. But my heart says that after an episode of absolutely no laughs, Sera Gamble wouldn't be so cruel as to deny me the humor this week. After all, it's named after one of the cheesiest movies of the 80's - that's a goldmine of humor right there.
Ok so you don't like cynical? How about pessimistic? :P Like Dahne I refuse to entertain even the possibility of this being another LFoT - it just will NOT be that way - just NO..... Because I (and Dahne) have said so.....
Hey maybe the thing Dean finds at Lisa's will be a haunted mannequin? They said in the promo this thing wasn't stuck in one place ....huh? waddya think? Lisa's new boyfriend is a 'boy toy' ? Literally?
This should be a perfect opportunity for Sam to work a case (and interact for an episode) with Bobby or Cas but it's an opportunity missed.
Unfortunately, all of the recurring characters on the show seem to be closer to Dean than they are to Sam. Say what you want about Ruby (both versions) but her scenes with Sam were always good. Sam needs to make more connections on this show.
Theres nothing going on at Lisa's apparently Ben lies, Lisa's fine. Besides a soap opera with scary mannequins? Sounds more and more like those dreadful films.
Oh god, oh god, I don't think I can watch this episode without having a panic attack! Just from this little clip with that f***ing mannequin my pulse is racing :(
"I don't like the way Kim Catrall is looking at me." :) That line alone is worth the price of admission. At least we know we get a little humor. And what was the 'anatomy dummy you were molesting at the lab' line all about. Can't wait for an explanation there. I foresee giggles ahead.
The sneak peeks are usually right at the beginning of the ep, but this one is referencing things in the case they've already found, so it seems a little further into it. So hopefully the case will take up a lot of the ep before Ben's call separates them. Keep the faith, Dahne! :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I guess Sam is ok then :P
ReplyDeleteI guess the hell memory wasn't that bad after all...Lol
ReplyDeleteThe clip isn't even scary and I'm already freaking out! I can tell this episode is going to traumatize me.
ReplyDeleteAlso have "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" stuck in my head.
:P Sammy dodged the bullet! Yeah....barely ^^;
ReplyDeleteBut I'm still pretty sure that the dommage is done...and the wall will go down a LOT faster than it was suppose :(
Dean's FACE! :D :D :D
ReplyDelete^^; I hope at least that Hell's memory scared Sam just enough for him to stop thinking about scratching the wall
ReplyDeleteIts so good to see them working together like this. Just to look at them in this hall when they are investigating.
ReplyDeleteSam seems okay, he is like a tumbler! Dean looking at the "puppet" -hilarious!!!
Super creepy, can't wait to see this!:)
ReplyDeleteThis episode should be hilarious. If it isn't, given the storyline, it will be a big letdown.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see the laughs back! I hope Dean's visit with Lisa doesn't spoil it.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with dean (the way he was acting). Mannequin's freak me out. Anything else I can handle. But they're just creepy!
ReplyDeleteJust don't pull a Live Free or Twi hard - all the funny stuff is in the promo.

ReplyDeleteSaid it before....sooo cynical :P

ReplyDeleteOh that does sound like me..:)
I didn't kill your optimism...I took a chainsaw to it, tortured it for an hour, slashed it steak knives and THEN killed it.
ReplyDeleteForget the optimism. You two are killing me. My head says that I will be crying in my soup because Lisa and Dean will officially be over and I hate that. ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. It seems like everyone has a Supernatural episode that finds your phobia, digs in, and makes it that much worse.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall a whole bunch of humor that was supposed to be in Unforgiven. o.o

ReplyDeleteSam seems normal! Omg I missed the EMF detector :D this reminds me of season 2! haha Dean is amazing.
ReplyDeleteOh I know....I was just thinking along the lines of suicidal teddy bear...that sounded bad too...but in reality? Not.
ReplyDeletelol I know right. When dean is looking at the manekin thinking like "can he see me" oh gosh, bever gonna feel safe ever again when I go shopping ahha

ReplyDeleteThat is one of the best freaked out looks I have ever seen! "Friggin' creepy" indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteThis epi is going to be great! :D Loved Dean "Over there, I don't like the way Kim Catrall is looking at me." ha ha ha ha ha. Can't wait for Friday!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww so cute!
