Smallville - CW to Air Pilot on Friday, 8th April
Feb 16, 2011
Cancelled ShowsThanks to Bruce_F for the heads up.
Hot on the heels of the news that Smallville will have a two-hour series finale, the CW has decided to re-air the pilot episode, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
On Friday, April 8 (8/7c), you can relive the very first hour of Smallville, which originally aired on October 16, 2001, on The WB.
The episode features the crash-landing of Kal-El in Smallville, before jumping ahead 12 years to a teenaged Clark Kent (Tom Welling) saving a reckless Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) in a car accident, kicking off their iconic friendship-turned-rivalry-to-be.

What a fantastic way to honor the series!!!! Now how about some nice original cast pics and a shirt ripping poster!!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea and all, but it's suppose to return from hiatus on April 8th! Does this mean we'll have another return-from-hiatus-postponing? >: (
ReplyDeleteWe never got an official date on a return from hiatus. This is the first "official" return date we've gotten. New episodes to follow this special reairing of the pilot
ReplyDeleteYou know what, now that you mention it, it makes sense. I mean, normally, if you've counted back from May 13th, it was suppose to return on April 8th, but if the 2 final eps will be combined, then it's one less week, so it makes sense it will return on April 16 instead.
ReplyDeleteThe CW doing original cast pics for a show not called The Vampire Diaries?? Ah... the dare to dream....
ReplyDeleteI think you mean April 15th instead, the 16th is a Saturday
ReplyDeleteHere in Israel we have to download it, and it's released at Saturday morning here, so I'm used to seeing it on Saturdays :P
ReplyDeleteAww this is so sad :( I will miss Smallville so much!
ReplyDeleteWasn't Clark 14 instead of 12 in the first season 2 of the show??
ReplyDeleteThis is bringing me a feeling of nostalgia. I love this show.
