    Man, I loved Modern Family during season 1 almost as much as Community, but it's really been frustrating to watch this season (IMO). There's just no ambition anymore, it's way too formulaic, and every once in a while you get a taste of what the show is capable of (Manny's birthday was a fantastic episode). This was OK, like so many other episodes this season.
