It's another sad day for LOUK fans. First Ben Daniels and Bill Paterson exit, now Jamie Bamber is set to leave the British crime drama for another project. Where's he headed? That, you'll have to read to find out - but it's not as far removed as you might think!

    He's leaving for an “ensemble cop drama with a sci-fi spin”? BRILLIANT! I never watched L&O UK but anything that brings even a hint more sci-fi to our screens can only be a good thing. Yes, I'm selfish that way :P

    I'm a broken record on this subject, but you should. Even if you weren't into any of the US versions. It's that good.

    On paper, it sort of reminds me of the short-lived "Century City" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377153/) just with cops instead of lawyers. It'll be interesting to see how it takes shape.

    Cool.. thanks for the suggestion. I may check it out this summer when there is more time to try new shows.... If I am not a law show fan in general will it win me over? I always like good acting and the British legal system and police system are so different than ours it may be fun to see....
