    Bad graphing aside, these numbers are very misleading. Fringe moved to a very crowded Thursday night in Season 2, and to a desolate Friday night in the middle of Season 3.

    I don't follow Fringe but it's a pity that a show with such a big and loyal fanbase is losing viewers :(.

    I hope it doesn't get cancelled

    Thing most interesting, is that the first two seasons was very up and down.

    Season Three has been very steadily poor :P

    I think Fox lowered their goal for viewers once it was switched to Fridays--they had to expect that ratings would drop. It's still a highly DVR'ed show and the DVD sales do quite well.

    Fringe did great with the american idol lead-in. Plus the money they generated from american idol commercials were able to provide us with less fringe commercials. Can't explain why, but I feel confident in a season 4. Even if its moved to Saturdays at midnight, but I feel good about it.

    I thought as it was made by Warner Bros. they get most of the money from the DVD sales rather than Fox

    the implied possibility of that episode driving viewers away baffles me, it's one of my favourites of the entire series and i don't think i'm alone on that.

    As much as I hate to say it because White Tulip is one of my all time favorite Fringe episodes but it looks like your right.

    I just took a look at the dates for the next few episodes and after the February 25th episode we take a longer break. If Fringe continues at this rate I'm worried it could even drop below 3.5 then.

    Well one good thing is that it's only a two week break and I believe there will be 3 episodes in a row starting March 11th... that's got to be better than the 2 month break last year before the episode Peter aired, right?

    Um, what does this have to do with Supernatural? They may be on at the same time but that does not mean that Supernatural is effecting Fringe ratings. There are simply not enough viewers for that. If anything is effecting Fringe, it is that the weather is much nicer in the United States so more people are going out instead of being trapped inside by blizzards.

    Well Fringe and Supernatural are kind of in the same type of genre. I haven't watched Supernatural before and I while I'm sure there totally different they have the same kind of appeal.

    I agree. I watched Fringe every night when it was on Tuesdays. They moved it to Thursday and now Friday and I have yet to watch it. I really care about the show but there's no chance of me watching it on Thursdays with all the other shows (and other family members getting a say in what we watch) and I never watch anything on Fridays.
