The Event - Return Date Set
Feb 2, 2011
Cancelled ShowsNBC’s has set a return date for The Event, and has tapped an A-list cinematographer to direct one pivotal episode.
EW has exclusively learned The Event is coming back on Monday, March 7, with a two-hour presentation, followed by the return of Parenthood. After that, there’s 10 more Event episodes to finish out the show’s first season.
Also, Janusz Kaminsk — the cinematographer behind a score of Steven Spielberg classics as Saving Private Ryan, Schindler’s List and War of the Worlds — has been tapped to direct episode 15.
Could #15 be when fans finally learn what “The Event” is?

Yes it did end that same exact way... sadly too, because Flash Forward actually got CONSIDERABLY better after the hiatus. By then it was too late and no one tuned in.
ReplyDeletelie to me is done now The Chicago Code is replacing it
ReplyDeleteGlad they set the return.Don't like we have to wait for march. They originally had February 28 planned. So we have to wait for NBC to burn off the Cape first.
ReplyDeleteI am one of biggest fans of the Event around and agree that the over 3 month hituas Is likely going to cause It to follow Flashforward's fate. They allowed Lie to me to grow for Fox on Mondays. The Event
was beating Lie to me or tying It when up against them.
Probably. Or maybe that's also when LOLA will take Tuesday 10 spot instead of Parenthood.
ReplyDeletethey cancelled the return of parenthood on monday tho? ew mistake|?
ReplyDeletehmm...didn't FlashForward end up the same way??
ReplyDeleteShow is a big buzz in the beginning, beginning to lose viewers, goes on hiatus for over 3 months, after being post-poned multiple times, coming back with 2-h episode and then boom, no Season 2.
(I hope there will be. I dont watch the show that much but I'd like to see it continue)
