    I can't wait for the new season to start and I can't believe Doctor Who hasn't done a pirate episode before now.

    It has been a while, but this episode could well be a prequel to a classic episode which was set in the same place called The Smugglers. In that one they were after finding Avery's treasure, in this one we actually get to see Avery himself :D
