Bones Spinoff casts Saffron Burrows As Female Lead

Thanks to Bruce_F for the heads up.

Based on The Locator books written by Richard Greener, the spinoff centers on Walter Sherman aka "the Locator" (Geoff Stults), a former military policeman who can find anything. Burrows will play his confidante/sidekick, a bar owner who is also a helicopter pilot and can drive a boat.

    When I first heard what this spinoff was going to be about, I liked the idea. It sounded interesting. Unfortunately, they cast Geoff Stults as the lead and now they've cast Saffron Burrows. Anyone who has seen her short stint as the female lead on Law & Order: CI will tell you that this was a bad choice. All in all, this whole project is becoming a disappointment (except for Michael Clarke Duncan).

    Seems like they cast a bunch of adequate to great (MCD) supporting cast actors. Not sure wither lead is a leading man or leading lady.... Not a lot of hope for this, but I will check it out most likely....
