I agree. I was thinking that had to be tully.. I wonder what his name will be. And I wish they hadnt named the us version of annie , sally.. ugh! since they are practically copying the uk version, they could have came up with a better sounding a- name at least.
I prefer how the BBC version did the blood donation drinking scene. I wish that they would steer away from copying what the Brit version did as it makes comparing the two inevitable :(
I'm assuming the other werewolf is 'Tully', he doesn't seem as cheeky chappy as the Brit one. Can't see him coming onto Sally in the same way :P
I've not watched the BBC version and without starting a flame war I'd like to share that comments about another show in regard to this one are meaningless to me. Couldn't we stick with talking about this one? Would be nice to judge Being Human (US) on it's own merits--or lack thereof. And for heavens sake, don't force yourself to watch the US version.
I'm sorry you feel this way, but as I said above it's very hard to keep the two shows separate when they are copying much of the plot, and even the same camera shots as the original :( I don't feel like I am being forced to watch this version, I am simple interested in how it will be handled as it's a subject I am very interested in.
I know that the two will have great differences as they seem to be pitched at two different demographics, I personally don't see the harm in comparing them, sorry if that upsets you. I would recommend watching the BBC version as well at some point so that you know where many of the viewers are coming from.
I really hope that the Syfy one starts standing on it's own two feet more soon, at the moment it feels like they are missing the point of having these three characters living together. I would prefer to see them supporting/helping each other in their quest to become 'more human' rather than it just be a show about a ghost, vamp and werewolf who happen to share a house.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

It would be great if they mix both Tully and the new werewolf from S3 into one character in some ways :O
ReplyDeleteI'm finding Sally a bit weak atm, but then could say the same for all of the main three. I hope that they all become a lot closer to each other and start helping each other rather than just being wrapped up in their own problems. Sally esp. needs to start showing another side to herself rather than just 'being in love with her fiancée' :(
