    I think it's Michael - if you see how the ladies are sitting from right to left it goes Roxy, Pamela, Denise then the flag scene it's Claudia Joy to the right (know this because that's her bracelet) so she would be next to Denise and then Emmalynn next to her (because Emmalynn could have her dad's flag) If it was Chase - I think Pamela would have the kids next to her, as well as Roxy with her kids... I love all the guys and girls on the show! I dont want any of them to go! :(

    If they follow protocol for a military funeral the flag would go to Claudia Joy (if it's Michael) since she is his next of kin, not Emmalin. Perhaps it's not one of the AW spouses at all!

    Michael isn't deployed so I don't understand how it could possibly be him unless they had an attack on post or something. When it comes to the scene they show the women it is Roxy, Pam, Emmalynn then CJ, Denise isn't in that picture. The hand piece is CJ and Denise with Frank on the one side of her.

    It can't be Michael he wasn't deployed so unless base got attacked then I don't see it being him. In the scene with the women sitting together it goes Roxy, Pam, Emmayln, then CJ Denise is on the other side of CJ you can't tell by that picture until the next clip where CJ is holding her hand. Jeremy and Tanya are engaged not married so I do believe that she wouldn't get the flag unless they were married so if they eloped right after the ending of the last episode or the beginning of this one they are still engaged leaving Denise to receive the flag. I believe it's Jeremy which makes me sad. I like all of the cast and don't wanna see any of them leave. :( I was shocked to see Pam getting kissed by her partner that should be interesting to see what happens there.

    If you pause it on the part where they are putting a flag in the lap of someone... it looks like Denise's lap...b/c of the watch on her wrist... Denise ALWAYS wears a watch and Claudia joy is holding her hand.... so I think it is Jeremy for Frank....

    I think it is Frank or Jeremy (which I would hate to see go)... If you pause the clip on the part where they put the flag in the woman's lap you can see a watch on the woman's hand and Claudia Joy is holding the woman's hand... the only one who ever really wears a watch is Denise... so this is my guess..... I was hoping it was Chase....

    I have to go with it is Michael because in another shot it is showing a change in command with Joan. That is my thoughts. Being a military wife I have seen the change of command before. Just my thoughts. I can't wait until March 6th!!!!!!

    It can't be Jeremy, In ep 3 there is a spoiler for a wedding shower. I saw Trever in a pic at a Table read for the show, so I don't think it is him. I also read the new guy helping with Military "rightness" has got a lot of questions from "Frank" So I don't think it is him. I know "Chase" played by Jeremy Richardson is having have a new baby and is leaving the show. I am guessing it is him, though I haven't been able to rule out Michael

    It can't be Jeremy, spoiler for ep 3 has a wedding shower, I don't think Frank, because the new guy hired from military to help get military correctness said "Frank" was asking him alot of questions. I saw Trevor in a pic posted at a table read, don't think it is him. Jeremy Richardson who plays Chase is having a child with his wife and be leaving the show....by Death?? don't know, I cant rule out Michael either. I hope Chase.

    maybe it's Jeremy's fiance' and they give the flag to Denise because he's still deployed??? If the girl doesn't have family and has Jeremy's family listed as next of kin, wouldn't that work? Just hoping it's not one of our guys!! :( Don't want things to change even though I know it will with the spin off centering around Pamela and all... that will mean Chase is leaving eventually. making her have to leave too! :( :( But unfortunately, I think you are right, I think it's Jeremy too, because it looks like Claudia Joy's bracelet on the woman holding the hand of the woman that gets the flag! And someone could easily have the baby so Denise wouldn't have to focus on her during a funeral! :(

    I agree I think it is Jeremy. Claudia Joy is consoling her in a clip and apologizing. It can't be Michael since Claudia Joy appears to run the show. If it were Michael she would have to leave the base. Chase is a good pick except the promo shows Pam with her partner having a drink and talking about going back to her husband of which he doesn't want her to as he wants to have an affair with her. I do not think Joan is taking over. I think there is a problem with her and Rolands's marriage again. It could be Roxy's husband but she is not upset enough in the promos. Thus it has to have something to do with Denise.

    It has to be Jeremy. In the scene with the folded flag on the woman's lap, it is Claudia Joy on the one side ( you can see her bracelet that she is wearing in earier scene) and the man on the other side has an officer's uniform (sleeve stripes) and Frank is an is a Colonel

    I not sure but I am wondering if there using Chase to throw everyone off he is the obivous choice. I think it's Jeremy. People keep using the book to try and fiquer out who going to die. It's based on the book which means that they will not take everything verbatum from the book especally because they have to make work for a television show. If it,s Michael loses that dominate army wife Claudia Joy . Plus we learned that Micheal might execept a new posttion which would explain the changing of the guard cermonie.

    It will not be Chase. He and Pamela are divorced, so she would not receive the flag. It would go to the kids. You know how Lifetime shows previews that turn out to be totally different than what it appears. If it is one of "the" Army Wives, then it is Jeremy who dies.

    The wives that are shown (TJ, Roxy, Pamela, and Emmalyn) are in the second row at the graveside. That would explain why they are even sitting down. The front row has an officer (Frank), mystery woman, and sleeveless woman. I would assume that the mystery woman is Jeremy's new wife. The only thing throwing me off is that if you look closely at the top of the frame of the mystery woman she has shoulder length dark hair. Am I reading too much into it??? LOL

    The characters are as follows
    Lieutenant Colonel Rennie Cory = Michael Holden
    Andrea Lynne Cory = Claudia Joy Holden
    Command Sergeant Major Gary Kalinofski = Frank Sherwood
    Delores Kalinofski = Denise Sherwood
    Gary Shane Kalinofski = Jeremy Sherwood
    Joseph 'Brian' Odom = Trevor LeBlanc
    Rita Odom = Roxy LeBlanc
    Sergeant First Class Brandon Floyd = Chase Moran
    Andrea Floyd = Pamela Moran

    Now the book is based on the lives of Andrea Lynn Cory, Delores Kalinofski, Rita Odom and Andrea Floyd. Andrea Floyd is murdered by her husband, SFC Brandon Floyd, who killed himself following her murder. Lt. Col. Rennie Cory is killed in Vietnam when he is on a mission to recover missing soldiers from the Vietnam Conflict. Gary Kalinsofski kills himself in Kosovo. Last, but not least, Joseph Odom tries to kill his wife Rita following a tour in Afghanistan (he was diagnosed with PTSD).

    Now, if you are a loyal follower of the show and have never missed an episode, you will know Michael was captured in Afghanistan (which is the show's version of Lt. Col. Cory's death), Jeremy attempted suicide in his parent's home (but survived), and Trevor had a substance abuse problem that could coincide with having PTSD following his tour where he was injured.

    The next person in line for something to happen to is Chase. Now who knows if Chase is the one to die...only the producers and the cast know. We will all have to wait until that episode comes around (which it probably will in about 3 to 5 weeks).

    It's not Chase. If you read the descriptions of the episodes coming after tonight, one of them specifically talks about Pamela and Chase working something out for the kids. It's also not Trevor b/c the descriptions talk about Roxy opening up a new business and that Trevor doesn't like it. It's either Michael, Frank or Jeremy.

    Chase is not the one who dies as he is mentioned in later episodes. Brian (aka Michael) is listed in the cast and as producer for following episodes, along with Drew Fuller (Trevor) and Frank. The only one not listed is Jeremy. However when it goes over the row you see Denise, Claudia Joy and her daughter, the Burtons, Pamela, and Roxy. But none of them look more upset than the other and Jeremy's fiancee is not in the picture.

    It is def Jeremy...The person who is holding the flag is gona be Tonya, Jeremy's fiance and she is sitting in between Frank and Denise. If you look at the preview too you can see that Denise enters the baby's bedroom which used to be Jeremy's bedroom and falls to the floor behind the door crying. I hate to say it but its Jeremy.

    It is Michael. Denise had the hot water heater blow and Claudia Joy volunteered to host the bridal shower at her home when the men drove up. Additionally, if you freeze frame, you will see Emmaline in the front row next to Claudia Joy and she normally would be away from college so why would she return home for a funeral other than her father's? Think about it....It has to be Michael! Unless....they come to notify Claudia Joy that she is widowed and next Season after she's involved in a lewd affair with professor we find out that it was DNA mixup and it was Frank and not General Holden that passed away.....

    If they follow ACTUAL ARMY PROTOCOL, logic dictates its Micheal, because the casualty notification team does not track you down to tell you your soldier died. They come to your home, if your not there, they come back. Since they show up at claudia joys house, logic determines it is Micheal. And to an earlier post - Micheal IS deployed, which is why Joan is now the post commander. Micheal deployed in season 4 with everyone else. If it IS jeremy, the flag wouldnt go to Tonya, as they arent married yet, only engaged. It would go to Denise. Because if Jeremy is killed, it means that he didnt make it home to marry tonya.

    Yes - to "track down" your current residence.... if you arent there, they come back to inform you of what happened. Its usually the chaplain and the rear d commander who notify you, then the FRG has a group of wives who basically come in and "pick up the pieces" - basically helping the family out in any way they can - baby sitting, helping with funeral arrangements, etc.

    It's not chase...yet. It's definitely Jeremy or Frank. The lady holding the flag is Denise. You can tell because she has a cream stripe on her jacket. In the church scene she is the only one with cream stripes in her jacket..practically the only one wearing a jacket.

    Dont you watch the show regularly? Denise got pregnant in season 4, and had the baby at the end of season 4, shortly after EVERYBODY but Chase and Joan deployed. And Jeremy got engaged at the end of season 4 to a female soldier he was deployed with

    That is incorrect. Protocol is that they will indeed track you down. If you are at the grocery, they will go there. If they cannot find you, they will wait for you. I am a Marine wife, I definitely know the protocols of the military regarding this!

    Again, I am a Marine wife and have had my fair share as well.. It's not a contest. Our protocol must be different. Here, they will make phone calls to find out where you are at to tell you. They will not go home or whatever and come back later. I've personally seen this, so I do know how it works on this end.

    Oh well - we have a whole week to wait before we find out. I personally dont think its Micheal, and I also think this is the last season, because everyone is going to be branching off into different directions. Chase doesnt die, but he leaves after this season, so Im thinking he PCS's, and Ive also heard Pamela leaves the show as well. Joan not retiring is putting strain on her marriage so I see a possibility of her retiring, Claudia Joy and Micheal are gonna be going to west point. The only ones that leaves are frank, jeremy and trevor - and one of them dies. Not much left to the show after all that happens.

    The way all predeployment has always gone for us with the briefings, weve been told they tell you at home, and if you would like to be notified elsewhere (like at a friends or relatives) you put that down, and they will notify you there. I do know that they will wait for you to come home to notify you if your not there. Than the FRG team swarms you to pick up all the pieces.

    They have I think 6 months to get affairs in order and move off post, so they have a bit of time. The army doesnt kick you off post as soon as your soldier is killed.

    Yes I have every season..And do not miss when it comes on... I was replying to someone else. Because they said it couldnt be Micheal because he was on base. I was simply saying that Micheal was NOT on base because it just showed him and Frank talking and they where NOT on base...And they where talking about the shower and what goes on at them anmd Frank was saying he has a daughter and soon to be daughter in law...

Because in the scene where she is holding the flag you can tell it it Denise because she always wears that black watch (You can see her wearing it in the scene from episode 2 when Jeremy's Fiance suggests that the baby should go to the Dr), Frank is sitting to her right, and I think that she is holding Jeremy's fiance's hand and that is who is wearing the bracelet, because Claudia Joys bracelet is a Charm Bracelet, and the one on the preview is not the same one.

    It's going to be Jeremy. Denise is holding the flag, with either Tanya or Claudia Joy holding her hand. You can tell by skin tone and her fingernails (yes, I watch THAT closely!). Sitting on the other side of her is a man wearing a wedding ring, which would have to be Frank because Jeremy and Tanya aren't married yet. The funeral line up = Frank, Denise, Tanya (?), CJ, Emmelin, Pamela, and Roxy. Emmelin is sobbing...and she and Jeremy were good friends. Also, someone noted on another page that one of the two women holding hands (and the flag) was wearing a military uniform. That would have to be either Joan or Tanya.

    Jeremy Davidson (Chase) stated in an interview that there would be a "significant change" with Chase this season, but that we would be seeing more of him. They just want it to look like Chase for a twist.

    Also: the family is notified by majors, which eliminates Frank and Michael (the notifiers would have to be equal or higher rank)...and all the pallbearers are enlisted.

    It really sucks cuz i think its Trevor cuz when they show the funereal and hand one of the girls the flag u can see that she has blond hair its not noticeable just watching it you have to pause it but u can see a blond curl me and friend were crying cuz we love Trevor!

    Michael is deployed, If has showed him several times overseas and also he was not at Claudia Joys funneral, I really don't think that it is Michael though because I really think Joan would be bringing the news to Claudia, however I really think that it is Jeremy because Emmalin is shown and she was really close to him, and I don't see her coming home for college for anyone but Jeremy or her Dad and like I said I really doubt it was Michael.

    I was thinking the same thing. I have been an Army Wife long enough to know they go to your house and it takes time to "track down" a family. Everyone has their role in this show, but to think it is Jeremy is hard to believe. They will be the only family on their with both of them being active. They will have lots of things to give to the family. Also, how many people were at the house? CJ is the FRG leader and everyone else is an active member with the FRG. This could all just be a ploy and it could be someone that was at the party and they are just standing behind the wife. That is what I am hoping for!

    No, you don't get 6 months. You can sometimes get 30 days. As an Army wife, we had a family that had to pack and move immediately, she had no where to go. This is also a TV series and never goes by military protocol.

    I got to thinking about it though. Emmaline is in college and CJ just got the job in town. She wouldn't have to leave if she didn't want to. She would just not be part of the military anymore, but I doubt anyone would want to lose her as a friend.

    The order of the people sitting are TJ, Roxy, Pamela, Emmalyn, mystery, mystery, and then a decorated male soldier. Now I think it's Jeremy because all the signs point to him. The women holding the flag is tan compared to the other women and that would be Denise. The women holding her hand has a bracelet on her hand and it kind of looks like Claudia Joys medical bracelet. For everyone who thinks it's Trevor it isn't because the soldier saluting the boots, helmet and gun looks like him from the back. Plus the soldier doing that would be the Srg of the unit. Jeremy was in Trevor's unit. For everyone who thinks it is Chase, it isn't because none of Pamela's kids are there and being that her and Chase are divorced she wouldn't get the flag at the funneral her children would. It isn't Michael because it's his voice say, "the United States Army gives you our deepest condolences." And it isn't Frank because in a picture of the funneral you see a man sitting next to the woman with the flag and he's wearing an officer's uniform. Plus, I believe he is the officer giving the 21 guns salute. (Also, the woman holding the flag and the one holding her hand have sleeves on their dresses. Roxy doesn't which automatically eliminates her and Pamela who is sitting next to her.)

    For anyone who saw last night's episode there was a lot of foreshadowing in there. Frank and Michael were walking and said the troops wouldn't know what htey were up against until they got there and there would be no way to prepare them and in the final scene Roxy says she has no idea how Tonya will be able to handle being an Army wife and a soldier. Denise says she's a smart girl and will figure it out and then Pamela goes, she doesn't know what's coming next. So, this is why I believe Jeremy will be the one to go. =(

    And I just looked at the preview again and the woman holding the flag has the same necklace on that Denise was wearing in last nights episode in the final scene. The man sitting next to her has a gold wedding band on which is the same one that Frank has.

A friend saw your post and asked if you were me bc I just said almost everything you did :) I would liek to add that s lot of people nitpick over it being Jeremy because the men who deliver the news would (in life) go to Denise's house, not find her elsewhere. However, this show is still fiction.

    As a military spouse who's husband as been to Iraq 3 times now I can tell you they will notify you where ever you are. I have it. They will find you at work, school, a friends house, even the commissary. As soon as they can locate you they will come where ever you are and notify you. So as for it being Jeremy, Frank knew where Denise was and would have been able to tell them where to go. Also, as for Chase, even though he and Pamela are divorced they would notify her first not his children, they are to young, so their mother would be notified(I do not believe it Chase though).

    id have to say that the show is not a real show but it is based on real things , not all may b to the t...but thats because it cant b...as far as going to deliver news only at the home of the loved one...that isnt true, it will b wherever u r...because there is a certain amount of time that they have 2 tell the family of the dealth..so its gonna be wherever u may be ... the news has 2 be heard by the army not by phn friend or news...so they will find u..and go to u, no matter where u r.. that part is real.. =( and i gott asay i thought it was jeremy b4 the season first show..but idk now its all open game they have really focused on it being him and then now tryin to make it look as if its chase..I KNOW IT CANT B CHASE... but maybe its jeremy..by the looks of it it seems that way but looks can b a cloud of smoke to cover the 1 thing we dont guess? who knows ...but i do love this show!!

    I was hoping the same thing! In another clip, where everyone is walking behind the casket, it is Roxy at the very end of the first row, (and from the back), Pamela is next to her, then I believe it is Claudia Joy, I believe Denise is hidden, but Roland is in the second row just behind them.

    IT IS THE GENERAL! Check out the scene when they are all holding hands. Denise has a bracelet on her right wrist that looks just like the one that is on the wrist of the woman holding the hand of the woman receiving the flag at the funeral. CJ has a bracelet also but it's not the same kind so don't get confused. So that would make it denise holding the widows hand. Since Denise is CJ's best friend it only makes sense that she would be sitting next to CJ at the funeral. My guess is the General died in a plane crash coming home to surprise CJ. He was making up for missing her college graduation. Remember that he said he would make up for the giant gaff.

Claudia Joy is holding Denise's hand because of the bracelet on the persons right hand which Claudia Joy was wearing last episode. It is going to be Jeremy that dies. Emmalyn would NOT get the flag because she is NOT next of kin that is Claudia Joy.
