Final vote of the week folks. Enjoy! This vote will close around 7:00 pm on Sunday, midwest USA time so it will be closed before nominating starts for next week. Happy voting!
Awesome!! First comment!! Haven't decided who to vote for. I liked season five and there are a lot of great episodes here. I have The end Changing channels Abandon all hope Point of no return Hammer of the gods Two minutes to midnight Swan song
I know a lot of people will vote for Swan Song....it was an epic episode, but I am voting for Abandon All Hope. Jo and Ellen have been a part of SPN universe for a long time and to see them die and how they die....I am always bawling my eyes out on those scenes. Then we get face time with Lucifer and Sam and Dean. It was just an awesome episode and with Bobby trying to keep Dean on point. I can go on and on but I won't . Happy Voting everyone :)
I have tried to stay away from voting in any of these polls because it would be impossible for me to choose. however there i did vote for Changing Channels because it was hilarious. though this season had a lot of epic episodes for sure. No surprise the Swap Meat wasn't nominated, it was the first episode i watched of Supernatural and I was like this is so cool! but of course Dean said "It was a random, D-list ghost hunt. That’s awesome to you?". At that point it was clear I was missing out.
This one is tough, though for different reasons than the other ones. It's just, none of season 5 episodes influenced me and my love for Supernatural the way In My Time of Dying, What Is and What Should Never Be, Bad Day at Black Rock, Mystery Spot, Jus in Bello, Lazarus Rising, On the Head of a Pin and many others from previous seasons did. There still are episodes I love here, but no episodes I would be absolutely crazy about. This is so not fair! can I simply not vote in this poll and use this vote in one of the previous polls so I can choose two episodes instead of one? :P I can't? oh, bummer.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna choose between these three: The End - mostly for the amazing acting (Jensen portaying two different Deans and Jared's kick-ass white-suit Lucifer) Changing Channels - great comedy episode and cool end scene with Gabriel Point of No Return - death of a certain angel, Cas-Dean confrontation and of course Castiel ripping his shirt off ;P
Voted for 2 minutes to midnight. Because it introduced Death arguably my favorite character not named Dean,Sam,John,Bobby or Castiel. Plus Dean's lunch with Death is probably one of my all time favorite scenes. And Death's introduction was pure awesomeness.
The Song Remains the Same. For me that was the turning point in season 5. Until then most episodes were boring, low scale and way too un-apocalypty. I really enjoyed TSRTS, though, and had some of the most emotional scenes of season 5: Sam meeting Mary, and John saying what terrible father someone must be to raise their kids into hunters. So ironic.
That said, Swan Song was great too and I expect it to win.
I thought this was going to be easier because I didn't really like season 5, but now that I have to chose I realize that there actually were some really great episodes. I didn't think that the premiere was anything special, but I really enjoyed Good God, Y'all. The End was awesome of course. Changing Channels was hilarious. Abandon All Hope was awesome, again. My Bloody Valentine was disgusting, funny and, well, awesome.
This one was the easiest for me. As much as I loved Swan Song and culmination of the Winchesters' five-year journey, my all-time favorite Supernatural episode is Dark Side of the Moon. I have never been as touched by a scene as I was when young Sam showed up with fireworks and hugged his big brother with Bob Dylan warbling in the background. Dean's face at that moment, finding what he had been searching for for so long -- Sam's unconditional love -- even if it was simply a memory, was the single most moving scene of the entire series for me. The actual happiness on his face as he watched Sam dance in the sparks of the fireworks was superb. The entire ep, drawing the differences between how the brothers viewed what was important and how far they had come in their journeys was so well done. It was the breaking point for Dean, and the beginning of a different kind of resolve for Sam. I think it was the moment he figured out that he had to hold up his brother instead of always assuming Dean would have the strength to shoulder everything. So yeah, Dark Side of the Moon. I can still watch that one over and over.
First, I was going to vote for the end. A fantastic, terminator-like episode in wich Jensen ruled!
I made a last minute (more last second) correction to Swan Song.
It was a great ending where all characters (incl. the Impala) came together for a last showdown. If this had been the end (thank god, it´s not) of SPN, I would have been satisfied. So often series end with no conclusion at all, leaving me unhappy and unsatisfied. I hope when the day comes and SPN does end, we get a last episode like swan song.
PS: I also liked the creation of a new swear-word: assbutt :)
I don´t know why, but somehow DISQUS seems to hate me. I can push the like-button all I want but they do not show my name anymore. So if you haven´t seen airbat liking you for the last couple of weeks, it´s not because I don´t like you, it is because I am just shown as "1 person liked this" (well at least I am still a person to Disqus). Unfair. If anyone had the same trouble and can help me solve it, please do tell....
Like I said, a great acting challenge for both our boys and they did more than well. Jared's Lucifer from this episode might be the best impersonation of the devil I've ever seen. So... angelic. And that made him creepy. It's actually the only time in the whole season when I felt Lucifer was as big of a villain as he was supposed to be. And the difference Jensen managed to make between the past and future Deans - extraordinary. Loved future Dean - so dark, so tough, so damaged. Oh, and I loved Croatoan, so a point for bringing it again. I didn't like future Cas, but scenes with present Cas were just beyond cute ("The voice says I'm almost out of minutes" :D).
I've at least narrowed this down a bit...so, continuing with my strategy of using the first thing that pops into my head when I think of the episode:
The End......because: wow futureDean and nowDean were both so awesome (whoever said Jensen Ackles isn't a great actor needs their head examined) ...and awesome Samifer..... Changing Channels....because: I love how SPN can laugh at itself (and everything else apparently) Abandon All Hope.....because: Ellen and Jo *sob, sob* where's the tissues? Dark Side of the Moon....because: the amulet in the trash ......hand me those tissues again Swan Song......because: Sam, Dean, Bobby, Cas and the Impala....all there to do what needed to be done
Lots of other reasons for all of the above. I have no clue how I'm gonna choose just one of these.....
I had to pick The End but I also wanted to check off "The Real Ghostbusters", "Dark Side of the Moon", "The Devil You Know", "Two Minutes to Midnight", and of course "Swan Song"
hmm. an attempt to narrow down my options, i find that i'm left with the exact same list and reasons as you, jillyanne and i just can't go down any further. right now i'm doubtfull that i will be able to vote at all!!
Personally, I thought the Song Remains the Same was too angsty, and not nearly as great as In the Beginning. Michael was awesome though. Young John did a much better portrayal of the archangel than I felt that Adam did.
Yes, In the Beginning was a lot better than the Song Remains The Same. If someone made me watch TSRTS after I watched In The Beginning and told me it would be my favourite from season 5, I'd laugh. Season 5 is my least favourite season.
Despite how much SPN fans complain about mistakes, plot holes, too much this, not enough that, this character, that character, the writing sucks, the showrunner sucks, the season sucks........blah, blah, blah...... at the end of the day, there is so much to love about each and every episode (yes even Bugs and one or two others had their moments)............
Our little show ROCKS!!!!!! <3 <3
And so do its fans, even though for fans we 'sure do complain a lot' <3
I voted for The End. The episode showed what this show could be but alas the season went steadily downhill after that and ended it's grand five-year arch with a whimper instead of a bang with Swan Song. How anyone could consider that the best episode of season 5 is mind-boggling to me.
I notice that I've been mainly voting for the lighter funnier episodes over the dark and intense ones. For some reason, as much as I love the deep storyline, I just love the humour more.
Ha! I always knew I had a problem but I didn't know it was that I was soulless. I didn't cry but I thought it would have made a good series ender minus a few parts.
I think season 5 was very weak also. For the apocalypse it was pretty anticlimactic. However, as much as I wish that Swan Song was "bigger", I still thought it was decent. Just not favorite material. I think like many things SPN, it was a bit divisive.
Sorry. I had an all day quiz meet to coach. I wasn't planning on doing a post on this one because for the most part I thought season 5 was less than stellar. But...your wish, my command.
Why it's hard to choose in the Season 5 poll - Part 1
2. Good God, Y'All - There's Bobby fallout, Ellen/Jo/Rufus return, and the amulet finds God. Funny in parts - "Try New Mexico. I hear God is on a tortilla." "No, God is not on flatbread." Bwah!! Good twist with people actually NOT being possessed. And best of all, War. Good times!
3. Free to be You and Me - We learn that Sam is to be Lucifer's vessel. Some people enjoyed the Cas with the prostitute scene. There was Raphael trapped in the fire. But overall, kind of boring to me.
4. The End - What's not to love in this one. Current Dean confronts Future Dean about killing his own people. Sam as Lucifer in the white suit. Cas' first phone call to Dean. Heck, I even liked Chuck in this episode. "Some free advice, when you get back there, you hoard toilet paper.....like it's made of gold. 'Cause it is." Funniest line of the episode. Plus, Dean and Sam mostly reconcile. Add in the Croatoan virus and you've got an episode made of win.
8. Changing Channels - Another great episode and maybe the funniest show of all. You've got the digs at competing shows and the fabulous sitcom-esque opening credits. They are my favorite specialty title card. But more than anything, we find out that the Trickster is really the angel Gabriel. Who expected that? Probably the greatest twist in the show's history, especially since I never saw it coming. Plus, Dean calls Gabriel on his family issues.
9. The Real Ghostbusters - Um..the twist that the kids were the real evil was good. Still, nothing makes up for subjecting me to more Becky. Ugh!!!!
10. Abandon All Hope - If for nothing else, the episode gave us one of the coolest villains of the all. You gotta love Crowley. The last hunt picture was poignant and Ellen and Jo's death was devastatingly beautiful. It's hard to top that one for emotion. But it was all downhill from that point. The Colt didn't stop Lucifer, Meg was still alive, and nothing was resolved. A very anticlimactic episode in the most anticlimactic season of them all.
11. Sam, Interrupted - Well we get some insight into how the Winchesters are reacting to the Apocalypse but mostly it's filler in the Funpocalypse. Urgh!
Why it's hard to choose in the Season 5 poll - Part 2
13. The Song Remains the Same - There's young John and Mary which is good, but there's also Anna and Uriel so that's a draw. The Mary/Anna fight was cool. John calls himself a sadistic jerk of a father but Sam defends him so another draw. John makes a great Michael but then he blah-blah exposits the destiny thing and my brain shuts off. We get Team Free Will but a parental mind wipe that means the whole thing was for naught.
14. My Bloody Valentine - It was gross. It had Famine. Sam went blood junkie yet again and Dean super-emoed out yet again. Blah.
16. Dark Side of the Moon - Best thing - firework scene. Worst thing - Dean and Sam dying constantly but not remembering is now canon. I hate that; it's a cheap cop-out. I liked that John was a jerk way before Mary's death but hated the overemphasis of the brothers' division in the most angsty way possible. We get Pamela (yeah) and Ash (okay) and Zachariah (lucky us), but he gets a good line - "Lucifer may be strong, but I'm PETTY." Finally I hate to love the scene with Dean trashing the amulet. One small motion with so much meaning.
18. Point of No Return - AKA Dean gives up and Adam returns - SUCKAGE to the nth degree. I hate the concept of Adam. Sam is disappointed but still faithful, Adam's bratty, Cas is ticked, and Bobby does a great guilt trip. Still, all is forgiven when Dean kills Zachariah and non-whiny Dean returns. Score on both points.
19. Hammer of the Gods - Two words - Gabriel's back! I liked the mythology and legends personified. Kali was pretty awesome. But then Sappy Lucifer appears and needs to get over himself. Gabriel dies (oh come on! He was a guaranteed good episode.) but he leaves the world's most informative porno.
21. 2 Minutes to Midnight - we get Pestilence (the worst of the horsemen) and Death (the best - by far). Thank goodness they defeat Pestilence in the first half. The second half is much better. Sam and Bobby kill demons/zombies and stop a Croatoan plague. Dean has dinner with Death, who is beyond awesome. Bobby gets his legs back and a shady deal with Crowley because with Crowley is there any other kind?
22. Swan Song - It was a complete ending to the first 5 years. If Supernatural had ended, it would have been a satisfying if not spectacular series finale. It featured Metallicar as a main character which was about time, but it rehashed the Grave episode of Buffy. Sam was a hero, Dean stayed, but most importantly, Bobby DID NOT DIE!!! Oh, it it ended the lame Apocalypse - Yippee!!!
The emotional part of the episode was great. The ending, with Chuck's voiceovers, was heartbreaking. But the apocalyptic-drama part was just weak. But hey, it's just me. I'm probably the only person who didn't cry when Jo and Ellen died (I was actually kind of glad I wouldn't have to watch Jo anymore, never liked her).
my mind is boggled about it too... and to think it gets to be a poll winner while so many others from previous seasons couldn't... like I said, no fair :P
you were definitely not the only one who was glad to see the back of Ellen and Jo, neither character had any kind of impact on me and I for one felt they had long overstayed their welcome. Better and more important characters had been killed off much quicker than these two but hey in the context of the season there return was understandable and it worked, there needed to be an impact from the apocalypse on Sam and Dean on a more personal level and these two were literally the only people left. I called their demise as soon as I heard they were coming back, in the end they were nothing more than collateral damage. I just find it interesting how most of the Harvelle love started after they were written off?!
I wouldn't be opposed to a post-apocalyptic Supernatural since I love those kinds of stories and if we got to keep both Deans, all the better. *EG*
But I actually I meant in terms of the quality of writing, directing and acting and the overall production values none of which Swan Song comes even close to in my opinion.
Well yeah production for the end was Amazing. They got lucky with the set. and for the acting.. okay im gonna get booed but two jensen will always make better acting then 1 jared and 1 jensen *HIDES*
Any way I respectfuly disagree for the over all ep. I thought it was perfect. (but i blocked Adam in my mind :P)
I chose Swan Song because I felt that it was probably the most powerful episode that season. From beginning to end we had so many brotherly moments. Dean had to let Sam go and say yes to Lucifer. When Sam was gone after Lucifer took him over the look in Dean's eyes was heartbreaking. When Bobby and Cas asked Dean if he was going to do something stupid all Dean had to say was "It's Sam". Always the protective big brother. I could go on and on but the end when they looked at each other before Sam fell into the cage was amazing. I have to admit I cried. Then Dean sitting next to the closed hole where Sam fell into was just as heartbreaking. I will always remember this time between Sam and Dean.
You are one brave fan, Chanelle. I think the passion blocking table is still available if you need to hide under it. It does a pretty good job of blocking rotten vegetables and knives but not so good at sarcastic backlash or long, vitriolic posts.
BTW, blocking Adam from your mind does make Swan Song better.
Haha. You're a brave soul. *whispers* Can't say that I disagree on the two Jensen's thing.
But yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree on SS. I think The End is actually my fave epi of the entire series. But I also love, Dark Angel, Terminator and all those post-apoc shows. Can't get enough of them so I'm thrilled we got even a little taste of it in Supernatural. Talk about two great tastes going together. ;)
:-) "Less than stellar" is my polite way of saying that if I came into Supernatural in season 5 instead of season 1, I would not still be watching it. Not saying that I hated all of season 5 or that I wanted to stop watching Supernatural because of it. That's just silly to me since every show has seasons you like better than others. Take season 6 for example - love it so far. It takes at least 2-3 seasons of hating the plot or the characters to make me stop watching a show I once cared about. However, season 5 didn't engage me as much as the others so if that was all I knew of Supernatural, I wouldn't have stayed around long enough to get to Swan Song. And now I think I've even confused myself.
Completely agree. If Season 6 was as boring, fillerish, and as fun as Season 5, then I wouldn't be here. Thank goodness that Season 6 is as it is right now - though it does have some clunkers. *cough*thethirdman*cough*
I think I would still be here even if the show had gone downhill from season 5 (which I think it hasn't, I love s6 so far).
But I gotta say, I'd be sad to see Supernatural just kind of 'fade away' like The X-Files did. I was there since the beginning of TXF, watched ever episode, loved it as much as I now love SPN, but I seriously would have wanted it to end at season 5 or 6. Because after that it just changed. It was like watching something die slowly and painfully. And when I saw the second X-Files movie, I couldn't even recognize the characters anymore. :/
AW DARK ANGEL AND TERMINATOR! okay not the subject but I dont care whahaa. That show (TSCC) looked so freaken awesome and ready for a season 3 I'm pissed.
I'll pretend that I understood what you said there: "it does a pretty good job of blocking rotten vegetables and knives but not so good at sarcastic backlash or long, vitriolic posts." *smiles and nods* :S
Don't know what's going on today , my french brain is takin over!!! GO AWAY
Same goes for me. I liked PARTS of Swan Song (like the opening with the Impala and Chuck's narration) and EPISODES from season 5, but overall it just didn't do it for me.
And not just because the fangirl in me is screaming to be let out.....
That the writer (Ben Edlund of course), director (Steve Boyum), the eidtors, Jensen, and everyone else involved managed to pull this off so brilliantly is what sticks in my mind the most......
Well there is that....and all the other things to love about it.
I was just going with my current strategy...which is to use the first thing that pops into my head when I think of the episode.............because otherwise these polls give me a serious headache..... I admire anyone who can choose one favorite episode without having to put too much effort in. For me there is so much to love about so many episodes, that I've found this series of polls very taxing.... Now please excuse me while I go lie down for a while...............
If you want to know why I chose Swan Song, Chuck's narration is what makes it my favorite episode of s5. I absolutely loved it. And I kind of liked the whole final fight scene too. Some kind of an epic 'lightsaber duel' between Michael and Luci would have drawn the attention away from the fact that the apocalypse was about to start just because two brothers were having a stupid argument on an empty field somewhere outside of Lawrence Kansas.
Damnit, I was too late to register my vote...stupid college. Just for the record, it would have been 'Point of No Return' edging out 'Swan Song', 'Two Minutes to Midnight' and 'The End'. Great episode: the end of whiny!Dean (who irritated me no end), the return of the brotherly bond (though still no amulet!), Cas being generally awesome (box cutters, that's all I'm saying), Sam being even more awesome, and last but not least: ZACHARIAH IS DEAD (normal I abhor typing all in caps, but that moment deserves it).

ReplyDeleteAwesome!! First comment!!
ReplyDeleteHaven't decided who to vote for. I liked season five and there are a lot of great episodes here.
I have
The end
Changing channels
Abandon all hope
Point of no return
Hammer of the gods
Two minutes to midnight
Swan song
No clue how I will ever decide!!
O darn it. Not first
ReplyDeleteMissed it by that much!!

ReplyDeleteHad to go with season finale!
Voted for 2 minutes to midnight. Because it introduced Death arguably my favorite character not named Dean,Sam,John,Bobby or Castiel. Plus Dean's lunch with Death is probably one of my all time favorite scenes. And Death's introduction was pure awesomeness.
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of episodes in this season
ReplyDeleteFree to be You and Me

Abandon All Hope
But i voted for Abandon All Hope as i still can't watch it and not cry

I'm going to go with The End.
Changing Channels - coz of the CSI Spoof! With the sunglasses and the snazzy suits! epic! :D
ReplyDeleteOkay wow I cant.... I'll read your comments then chose after ahahah. Need to think this time no rushed decisions

ReplyDeleteI went with 'My Bloody Valentine'
ReplyDeleteSo that's my set of favourite 5 episodes of the series-one from each season
1-Pilot
2-All Hell Breaks Loose -part 1
3-Mystery Spot
4-When The Levee Breaks
5-My Bloody Valentine
First, I was going to vote for the end. A fantastic, terminator-like episode in wich Jensen ruled!

Ok, I've made up my mind. And the winner is:
ReplyDeleteThe End

Swan Song......because: Sam, Dean, Bobby, Cas and the Impala....all there to do what needed to be done
Lots of other reasons for all of the above.
I have no clue how I'm gonna choose just one of these.....
The End;
ReplyDeleteDouble dose of Dean.
Sam in a mean, powerful, evil incarnation that made my hair stand.
always so annoying I can never pick just one:
ReplyDeleteI had to pick The End but I also wanted to check off "The Real Ghostbusters", "Dark Side of the Moon", "The Devil You Know", "Two Minutes to Midnight", and of course "Swan Song"
Thank you so much...I will try all the above, just to make sure:)
ReplyDeleteSwan Song was the worst episode ever. I consider it on par with Fallen Idols and the only good thing about Swan Song was Jensen's acting.
ReplyDeletehmm. an attempt to narrow down my options, i find that i'm left with the exact same list and reasons as you, jillyanne and i just can't go down any further.
ReplyDeleteright now i'm doubtfull that i will be able to vote at all!!
Well, I obviously didn't choose the popular choice...
ReplyDeletePersonally, I thought the Song Remains the Same was too angsty, and not nearly as great as In the Beginning. Michael was awesome though. Young John did a much better portrayal of the archangel than I felt that Adam did.
ReplyDeleteSam and Dean never make the most popular choices either, Yoda

Well said. I know I complain but complaint must be a sign of obsess-er...love.
ReplyDeleteSwan Song. I mean come on. You're a soul-less Sam if you didn't cry when you saw it for the first time.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Our complaining is an act of love......
ReplyDelete.....or very intense liking.......
ReplyDeleteI voted for The End. The episode showed what this show could be but alas the season went steadily downhill after that and ended it's grand five-year arch with a whimper instead of a bang with Swan Song. How anyone could consider that the best episode of season 5 is mind-boggling to me.
ReplyDeleteWHAT DAHNE hasnt posted yet!!!! I need her to make a wise choice!!! HAHAHA
ReplyDeletePWAHAHAH! nice one
ReplyDeletelol....consider your mind boggled then... :P
ReplyDeleteDarn, they all are.
ReplyDeleteI guess it will be Swan Song, although The End, Changing Channels, Abandon All Hope, and 2Seconds to Midnight. Of course, Sam Interrupted. Dang!
ReplyDeleteChanging Channels. Hilarious Episode.
ReplyDeleteI notice that I've been mainly voting for the lighter funnier episodes over the dark and intense ones. For some reason, as much as I love the deep storyline, I just love the humour more.
Well, that is why we are voting for 'favorite episode' instead of 'best episode'.
ReplyDeleteHa! I always knew I had a problem but I didn't know it was that I was soulless. I didn't cry but I thought it would have made a good series ender minus a few parts.
ReplyDeleteI think season 5 was very weak also. For the apocalypse it was pretty anticlimactic. However, as much as I wish that Swan Song was "bigger", I still thought it was decent. Just not favorite material. I think like many things SPN, it was a bit divisive.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I had an all day quiz meet to coach. I wasn't planning on doing a post on this one because for the most part I thought season 5 was less than stellar. But...your wish, my command.
ReplyDeleteWhy it's hard to choose in the Season 5 poll - Part 1
ReplyDelete13.
ReplyDeleteBut hey, it's just me.
ReplyDeleteSwan Song, until right before Sam came back. But I still voted for it because it was 99,99% awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteyou were definitely not the only one who was glad to see the back of Ellen and Jo, neither character had any kind of impact on me and I for one felt they had long overstayed their welcome.
ReplyDeleteI definitely liked them better when they died. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL U r awesome! "I thought season 5 was less than stellar" That means not so great right?
ReplyDelete"I even like chuck in this episode" You break my heart girl.
LOL MBV is one of my fav *head slap*
ReplyDeleteLOL alright alright you didnt like this season hahaa! Well thanks for this it was HILARIOUS! we do not agree on the season ahhaha.
Voted: Swan Song and I LOVED this line "And the fans will always bitch" PWAAHAHHHAHA!
Lol you think the show should have go like in "the end?" With every one dying, Sam lucifer, stoneCas, etc.... wow okay :P just kidding,... a little
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be opposed to a post-apocalyptic Supernatural since I love those kinds of stories and if we got to keep both Deans, all the better. *EG*
ReplyDeleteBut I actually I meant in terms of the quality of writing, directing and acting and the overall production values none of which Swan Song comes even close to in my opinion.
Well yeah production for the end was Amazing. They got lucky with the set. and for the acting.. okay im gonna get booed but two jensen will always make better acting then 1 jared and 1 jensen *HIDES*
ReplyDeleteAny way I respectfuly disagree for the over all ep.
ReplyDeleteYou are one brave fan, Chanelle. I think the passion blocking table is still available if you need to hide under it. It does a pretty good job of blocking rotten vegetables and knives but not so good at sarcastic backlash or long, vitriolic posts.
ReplyDeleteBTW, blocking Adam from your mind does make Swan Song better.
Haha. You're a brave soul. *whispers* Can't say that I disagree on the two Jensen's thing.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree on SS.
ReplyDeleteSame here lol
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree. If Season 6 was as boring, fillerish, and as fun as Season 5, then I wouldn't be here. Thank goodness that Season 6 is as it is right now - though it does have some clunkers. *cough*thethirdman*cough*
ReplyDeleteI think I would still be here even if the show had gone downhill from season 5 (which I think it hasn't, I love s6 so far).
ReplyDeleteBut I gotta say, I'd be sad to see Supernatural just kind of 'fade away' like The X-Files did.
ReplyDeleteI'll pretend that I understood what you said there: "it does a pretty good job of blocking rotten vegetables and knives but not so good at sarcastic backlash or long, vitriolic posts." *smiles and nods* :S
ReplyDeleteDon't know what's going on today , my french brain is takin over!!! GO AWAY
LOL! 9 lines for 3 little words :DDD I'm not confused :P
ReplyDeleteSame goes for me. I liked PARTS of Swan Song (like the opening with the Impala and Chuck's narration) and EPISODES from season 5, but overall it just didn't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteThe End.
ReplyDeleteAnd not just because the fangirl in me is screaming to be let out.....
That the writer (Ben Edlund of course), director (Steve Boyum), the eidtors, Jensen, and everyone else involved managed to pull this off so brilliantly is what sticks in my mind the most......
A truly amazing episode........
Plus it had the remnants of the US army shooting croatoan zombies to The Contours
ReplyDeleteWell there is that....and all the other things to love about it.
ReplyDeleteI was just going with my current strategy...which is to use the first thing that pops into my head when I think of the episode.............because otherwise these polls give me a serious headache.....
ReplyDeleteAnd I kind of liked the whole final fight scene too.
