Last Week's Winners - Favorite Character
Last week had some overwhelming favorites. Very few races were even close, even with the exclusion of Dean, Sam, Bobby, and Castiel. I guess there are some definite fan favorites in the Supernatural universe. Here are the winners from the last week:
Favorite Angel - Gabriel with 587 votes followed by Lucifer with 126.
Favorite Demon - Crowley won with 482 votes with Azazel (YED) in second with 184 votes.
Favorite Human - In our tightest race of the week, John Winchester had 162 votes and Ash had 94.
Favorite Other - In the most contentious nomination, the Chevy Impala had 268 votes while Death received 103.
Favorite Object - Originally this wasn't going to be a category, but based on the nominations it was included. The winner was Dean's amulet with 291 votes followed by the Colt with 62. The people have spoken Sera. We want the amulet back...before the end of season 6.
Supernatural Polls - Ultimate Death
The winter hiatus will soon end (yeah!!!) and we are getting lots of good spoilers to dish about, so this will be our last poll until the summer hiatus (ugh - talk about hellatus). Therefore, it's natural that we take all the previous winners and let SpoilerTV viewers choose the ultimate winner for each category. Yes, this means you will have to choose only 1 episode to vote for. I expect this week will be very difficult for many.
To come up with the list of contenders, I automatically chose the top 2 votes in each original poll. Depending on how many original polls there were, I also added in some that were very popular even if they did not win. This way if votes were really close, we would not be disregarding a popular choice. That means that for Ultimate Death, there will be 10 choices, for Favorite Character 12, and all others 15.
Voting will last 2 days each just like before. However, it starts today. Happy voting and remember, comments are like the end of hiatus.

couple eating each other. It's just so perfect. Fallowed closely by ellen and jo, saddest
ReplyDeleteOh how could you do this to me? How can I possibly choose?
ReplyDeletehmmmm......
The one that grabs me most, just looking down the list is actually Cas going splat....
but.....no...... need to think....
Aw, this is only me being mildly mean. I go full-on sadistic when we get to favorite episode. I will laugh gleefully when everyone else is struggling and I mindlessly click my all-around favorite. As Chanelle would say Mwwwaaahhhhh!
ReplyDeleteawesome poll
ReplyDeleteunfortunately i'm away this week so i might miss out, will have to see if i can find internet
these will be very hard as i can already tell from the first one here
so many great choices.
for me it came down to sam's death and ellen and jo's death
although ellen and jo's death was sad and emotional and i cried for a full hour after the episode finished, sma's death was so unexpected!
it was before people kept dying and coming back and to see hm on the ground wiht dean clutching him was simply heart-wrenching
I put Ellen and Jo. Theyre death was so sad. I would say Dean or Cas, but they came back to life. Unlike Ellen and Jo who risked themselves to ensure more time for Dean and Sam. It was bittersweet. :(
ReplyDeleteMildly mean?
ReplyDeleteYou been taking lessons in torture?
I have exactly the same opinion :)
ReplyDeleteVoted for the couple. Eating each other to death or getting blown up? Best death for me means it was like 'O.O HOWDIDTHATHAPPENWTH?!' not as much 'IMGONNAMISSYOU!!!' death. It was like, the coolest one for me. Besides the hell hounds, since that was the first time I remember actually having a hell hound attack so....detailed? I'm trying to remember earlier instances but I can't so yeah. Eating each other to death, then hell hounds, and then being non-sexual drilled and then being blasted.
ReplyDeleteI love how the drilling got NO recognition though, LOL! But being stabbed, shot, blown up and jumping into a hole aren't as exciting as the other ways.
Dean's giving her lessons. She's his apprentice, didn't you know? ;)
ReplyDeleteDeath is so prevalent on Supernatural that sometimes it's hard to remember them. For me, the deaths that make the biggest impressions are the unexpected ones that take out a character I love or the long-awaited kills of those I hate (or love to hate). Since the former ticks me off, I'm pulling from the latter. John's death was the first time I really cheered but he isn't a choice so out he goes. Azazel's had the biggest impact on me because I never expected them to end that story line in season 2. It was a bold move and one that really paid off for me as a viewer. It was then I was sure I had found a show that wouldn't bore me in 3 years. I had wanted Ruby dead since she melded from the tree and watching her bite it..with her own knife no less...and both Dean and Sam doing it was one of the most satisfying moments in the whole show. It was unsurpassed until Zachariah bit it...with the angel sword no less...so Dean wouldn't disappoint Sam. Zachariah was evil at its most spiteful and I loved how just when it seemed like Dean was at his lowest point, he looked at Sam and changed the whole game. From that point, season 5 had some hope again and I knew it was the brothers against the world. Exactly how it should be.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, this is HARD... I'm torn between Sam's deaths... I'm going to have to think about this....
ReplyDeleteits funny that we choose for complete opposite reasons.
ReplyDeletei like the deaths that can make me cry because i think that that is something that makes in an ultimate death.
but if i were to go with the other end of the death side, the deaths that made me shout in joy, i would not be able to choose between zachariah and ruby.
i was just so happy when they each died, it took around 2 seasons for each of them. they were just so evil so there deaths were equally as awesome as the sad ones.
now i'm rethinking my choice.
why did you have to make this so hard!!
unfortunatley i've already voted
There there Chanelle..*pats Chanelle* ....I never said it wasn't awesome....it was truly awesome...just not my ultimate death on SPN
ReplyDeletethanks.
ReplyDeleteheading to queensland so hoping the floods aren't too bad now.
i'm gonna miss this so any chance i get to find me some internet i'll deffinately hop on and vote/comment
LOL I stopped reading at "couple eating each other" I think supernatural + death scene = this scene ahhaha. omg My mouth droped to the floor for the enter sequence lol.
ReplyDeleteHad forgotten about the dentist that was Awesome too eheheh, but I would have killed the guy to soo wasnt this wth moment hahaha, more like ouf that most hurt bobye jerk :PP
BUT IT WAS SUCH AN AWESOME DEATH!!! *wipes vomit away*
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, LOL! gross. Yeah... it was.... gross, PWAHHAHA
ReplyDeleteSay wha....?
ReplyDeleteHope you're going somewhere reasonably dry....
ReplyDeleteSam jumping into the hole doesn't count for me either....since we kinda knew he wasn't actually dead...just shut in the cage for the rest of eternity...
ReplyDeleteexcept he wasn't.....
lol my whole comment or just the Baboune part? it means... something I dont know how to say since i said it in french Pwhahhahaha.
ReplyDeleteokay no seriously... "Sad face" --> :( => "fais la baboune"
GREAT this Discusting death deserves a vote at least
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteFor some bizarre reason I did two years of Latin at high school, but not French....
Agreed. If I had to choose between Sam deaths (only in this show is death a plural noun), I would definitely pick the first one. It was back before everyone and their bunny were being killed and pre post-death reappearance exhaustion. (It's my new medical term for the fatigue that sets in when you know you are supposed to be upset by a character's death but you can only manage a "ho-hum, he'll be back again soon anyway" instead.) Sam's first death meant something - for awhile anyway.
ReplyDeleteHarder than I thought. They were all great ganks for completely different reasons. Ellen and Jo tugged the heartstrings... Cas, Dean and Sam, although heartbreaking I knew they'd be back... I was thrilled to see Ruby bite it, and to have Sam hold her down no less... the valentines couple was the ultimate gross-out, but they were minor characters we didn't care about... I had to go with Zachariah. I really loved to hate him, and to have Dean stand toe to toe with him, about to give in, then just pull the angel knife and stab him was very satisfying. Still want to know how he pulled that off, and watched with those glowy eyes to boot. I was very happy to see Zach's smarmy self go down -- big shadowy angel wings and all.
ReplyDeleteLatin! awesome. It sounds way more intelligente then français. :P french is to hard... I have better grades in english and I suck at it hahahaha! oh gosh... why am I talking about school.. GO AWAY DEMON (im really tired... sorry ehhe)
ReplyDeleteyep.. the only death I'm stared for now is Bobby. I feel like if they get the guts to take him away from us its gonna be for good or it will loose its impact. (and I know for a fact that he would stay dead since I would have killed every one on the show :D ) no im not crazy
ReplyDeleteI think she's been doing just fine on her own.....
ReplyDeletelessons with Dean ? Where do I sign up for those?
latin is awesome!!!
ReplyDeletei wish i could do latin but my school doesn't offer it
i hope so too
ReplyDeleteYou know it ;)
ReplyDeleteShe could always use the extra snark, just in case.
ReplyDeleteAnd unfortunately, Dean only does one student at a time. He prefers giving individual customized lesson plans to each and every one of his apprentices.
....Oh Chuck, if this was true -fans self-
It does deserve at least one vote -nods-
ReplyDeleteI just gave my to the MBV death so I'm glad you gave it one! >.>;
My momma always told me I'm special, but to be Dean's only apprentice with customized lesson plans, WOW! I think I need extra tutoring so I'll see you guys again in.....um....never. I'm a really slow learner. Sorry apprentice #2.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love me some snark. If I could get to Junior Dean level, I'd be unstoppable.
I'm blowing my own mind with my ridiculous situations, I need to stop making fangasms possible =P
ReplyDeleteLatin was awesome!
ReplyDeletejust think if I'd kept it up I'd be able to do my own exorcisms....
Had to give it up and do accounting instead - which I flunked (badly)......
I got straight As for latin though.....
It's gonna have to be Ellen and Jo for me.
ReplyDeleteTheir death meant something in the world of Supernatural and, so far, hasn't been undermined.
I love you Dahne but this is just not fair.....
ReplyDeleteI wanna be Dean's apprentice...... >:(
awesome (the straight A's not the flunking)
ReplyDeleteif i did latin i would understand what the hell they were saying whenever they did those exorcisms!!
maybe i can convince my school to offer it :)
My vote went for Ellen and Jo's death:)
ReplyDeleteI still have several strong contenders to sift through....
ReplyDeleteCas ....'did you just molotov my brother?' 'Uh no.' 'No-one dicks with my brother but me.'
SPLAT!!!!
awesome......
Dean....I couldn't believe they'd actually do it, but they did.......
Ellen and Jo....brings a whole new level of meaning to the phrase: 'goin' dooowwwnnn in a blaze of glory'
(cause Bon Jovi rocks on occasion) Totally unexpected and totally heartbreaking....
Ruby - poetic justice having her knife shoved into her in a joint effort by the Winchesters...loved it...
Sam getting stabbed in the back....I was stunned (especially since I'd already seen Jus in Bello and knew he was still alive)
Zach getting stabbed...well I just knew Dean was gonna kill him sooner or later...but it was so satisfying when he did....especially when two seconds before he'd been 'totally rockin' the yes'.....
Hmmmm.....
I'm gonna go with Ellen and Jo...
ReplyDeleteSam,Dean and Cas came back to life.Doesn't count for me,even though I was left staring at the screen like an idiot every time!
This is really really hard. I'm looking forward to the results very much. There were so many great death scenes. Tearful and joyful as well.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is tough. Well, I guess all the ultimate polls are gonna be tough, we're talking about choosing the best of the best.
ReplyDeleteAzazel shot was epic, because it was what the whole two first seasons led to. And it was with the Colt, which remains my favourite way of killing a demon.
Castiel's blast was even more shocking than gory. Blink and you could miss it. Quick and brutal, thus amazing.
Dean ripped apart was both gory and heartbreaking, with Sam forced to look at it. And it wasn’t just death, it was gateway to hell for him.
Jo and Ellen, well, I understand why people find it heartbreaking and it surely was sad and heroic, I guess I just disliked Jo too much to care about her that much. I actually wanted her out.
Ruby knifed was the most wanted death for me. I was tired and annoyed with her through the whole season 4. And she was killed with her own knife, irony anyone?
Sam knifed was probably my favourite death scene, with Dean’s reaction. As a death itself well, he just died. No fireworks, no last words.
I think in the end I’m gonna go with either Azazel or Sam knifed. Gotta think about it.
Well, I did Latin for 6 years, and I still don't understand the most what they say when they do exorcisms. Latin is a very complex language, it's already difficult to translate written Latin, let alone spoken Latin. It's still a shame your school doesn't offer it, I always really like the subject.
ReplyDeleteFaire (infinitive of fais) la baboune, that's Canadian French. It means something like 'to grumble'.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It was so awesome! They stayed together till death separated them. :P The majority of the deaths in the least were so awesome! :D
ReplyDeletesam.
ReplyDeletehe jumped into hell.
I'll go with...Ruby Knifed. Revenge!
ReplyDeleteWell I've been mulling this over for hours and now I see the next poll is up, so time for a decision.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm going with Ellen and Jo....because....well mainly because they didn't drag it out in a loooong soppy good bye.....
it was just: this is what we've got to do, let's just get on with it...
any other show would have spent the entire episode having Jo and Dean exchanging long, desperate looks, and waaaaayyy too many words, and crying over each other...but not SPN
So yeah Ellen and Jo....
Oh and now my original post has completely disappeared WHAT THE F*** is going on ....
ReplyDeleteCan't even remember excatly what I said >:(
Well I've been mulling this over for hours and now I see the next poll is up, so time for a decision. So I'm going with Ellen and Jo....because....well mainly because they didn't drag it out in a looooong, overly emotional way....
ReplyDeleteAny other show would have spent the entire episode with Jo and Dean exchanging long, pitiful looks, crying and waaaayyy too many regretful words....
This was perfect SPN - this is what we've got to do, let's do it...
That made it all the harder to watch
so: Jo and Ellen....
And if disqus stuffs this up I'm outta here...
At least your reply button doesn't completely disappear from time to time. And I couldn't like comments for monthhs until about a month ago. :(
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm surprised Sam in Swan Song hasn't taken away the poll. It was a very emotional and dramatic death.
ReplyDeleteThank God the episode wasn't full of Dean-Jo looks. The kiss alone was difficult to bare for me, it pissed me off. Mostly because I've always seen Jo as a sister to Sam and Dean and they kept on forcing that potential love relationship, which made me dislike Jo so much. And they didn't even have chemistry.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, call me heartless (or soulless :P), but her death was a relief for me.
Well I wasn't looking at it quite like that....
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a big fan of the Dean/Jo romance notion at all, but I sure wasn't rooting for Jo to die....(or Ellen for that matter)
I just found that as deaths go, it was well written and well executed (no pun intended) and unexpected at that point in the story.
well, yeah, it was well written, I just have those huge personal issues with Jo... of course not an objective thing at all.
ReplyDeleteand well, it wasn't unexpected for me, I spoiled myself before and knew it was gonna happen (you guys were finishing season 5 then).
I know this is all my fault, but I can't help it but be happy Jo is dead. Ellen not so much.
I went with SAM BEING KNIFED.....cause.....it was shocking, and so sad to watch him die in dean's arms, and dean's reaction to it......that was the first emotional scene that floored me....and i'm prob in the minority here but their death's get me each and every time.....Everyone is like, they die too many times to have any impact anymore....I don't see it that way......i know they will be back, but it's heartbreaking to watch, how each brother respond's to the other brother's death.....That's the bit that always gets me :((
ReplyDeletespecial mention to RUBY BEING KNIFED..........Brotherly bonding REVENGE style.......who doesn't want that, and ganking her with her OWN knife.....Poetic justice......i'm on board......Bye Bye BIATCH :))
<33
HOLY CRAP ITS TIGHT.
ReplyDeleteand i was actually deciding between Dean and Ellen and Jo, since Dean's one was just so dramatic, and sad, and emotional (and i spent the entire season going "they'll fix everything, i know they will"). Ellen and Jo were on a similar wavelength though i wasn't as invested in their characters as Dean of course. HOWEVER, Dean came back... they didn't, and that was what decided it for me.
