  1. Are we sure it isnt Amy Gumerick's(? ) Mary coz Amy did mention in an interview a while back that she might be coming back?

  2. I was at the panel - that wasn't what she said - she said she'd like to come back and she said she was having lunch with Kripke. Seeing as he is no longer the show runner, he wouldn't be making those kinds of decisions. Seeing as how he's working on other projects now in addition to SPN, it does mean we might get to see the amazing Samantha Smith on something new by Kripke....

  5. TBH, I still want a young Mary and John spin-off. Would be awesome, y/y?

  6. Just so long as they don't try to bring her back 'for real'......
a flashback, spirit, or something would be fine, but no more 'back from the dead' please

  7. Couldnt agree more but . . .

Since it has been established that John and Mary are in neither heaven or hell, I would think this appearance might help the boys find out where Purgatory is.

  8. I think it would make sense. Samuel wants to bring her back. I think he'll succeed and she'll chew him a new one for putting her boys in danger.

  10. Prequels have an uphill battle from the beginning. Especially with a show that has a niche market (ala, Caprica).

We know how it ends. The story has to be absolutely compelling in order to capture the fans that watched the original series... and if it doesn't, with not a lot of viewers to begin with, it won't succeed.
