Sam had no soul. Given that info, nothing he did should be that surprising.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be interesting to find out just what Sam did during that year......
ReplyDeleteWonder if there's a lynch mob waiting for Sam..
Dabb & Loffin wrote Weekend at Bobby's and Family Matters. So this one should be great as those were.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who it is that sends the coordinates
This should be interesting. :) Sounds a bit like Born Under A Bad Sign.
ReplyDeleteYeah, unless he helped them. But I doubt that.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be Supernatural without someone coming after one (or both) of the boys for something they did on a hunt.
ReplyDeleteCannot. Wait!!
ReplyDeleteI sort've agree with this.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe he's the town hero....tall,dark, taciturn stranger comes into town and clears out all the bad guys?
ReplyDeleteNah......
Maybe, but only in a Charles Bronson or Clint Eastwood western type of way.
ReplyDeleteOh this should prove to be interesting. Ugh!!!!! How much longer.........oh the hellaitus is getting to me....must hold on.....must hold on......
ReplyDeleteWell that's kinda what I was thinking....
ReplyDeleteIsn't 'Unforgiven' the movie, a western?
Yep, it is. I was thinking more along the lines of "High Plains Drifter" though. Given the title of the episode, however, you've probably got the right idea.
ReplyDeletelol it really does sound like Born Under a Bad Sign ! I was just thinking that and speaking of, that was one of my favorite season 2 eps. Can't wait for this one :)
ReplyDeleteI knew it! I knew Unforgiven was going to be about Sam and the guilt of the things he's done in the past either back when he was soulless, when he was rotting in Hell, or both coming back to haunt him. I wonder how Sam is going to deal with this. I have a feeling he's not going to resist to the town's treatment of him, feeling he had it coming.
ReplyDeleteI just wonder.., if sam do a bad think why dean must surprise.., he should know sam is soulless n he know sam do kill innocent ppl and badass when he soulless.., so what sam do that made dean surprise?????
ReplyDeleteit sound really great epi.., i hope time running faster..., damn i hate to wait this long O_o
Sounds promising. Samuel's probably been up to a lot more than collecting monsters for Crowley. Remember the scene with his crew collecting monster blood and the cures for vampirism and djinn disease? I'll bet this episode has more a twist than just Sam finding out he did bad things.
ReplyDeleteSAM KILLED THEM ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehahaha.....:D
ReplyDeleteHow can they tell Dean what Sam got up to if they're ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL dead?
I'm interested that Dean is 'surprised' and not 'shocked'.......'surprise' generally has more pleasant connotations
ReplyDeleteHelllooooo, vengeful spirits much?
ReplyDeleteYou ain't ne'er seen no episode uh SUPENAT have'n yuh?
No. I've never seen it before in my life.
ReplyDeleteAnd I probably wouldn't want to.
Vengeful spirits? Sam is far too good of a hunter to leave vengeful spirits behind........
What about zombies? Or demons?
ReplyDeleteAh, but what if Dean IS pleasantly surprised? Maybe the people tell him about what a hero Sam was? And then that puts an end to angst and the brothers drive happily away...
ReplyDeleteSomehow I doubt that, though.
Thank you for posting . Very Very interesting.I have to say.
ReplyDeleteOh you're just jaded, cynical, and probably right......
ReplyDeleteI on the other hand, would love it if Sam is the hero just for five minutes
Now you're clutching at straws.......you know I'm right.......
ReplyDeleteSam's too good for that
So would I. I think the record is about 4 minutes and 32 seconds, in Swan Song.
ReplyDeleteI concede.
ReplyDeleteI like this idea but what's "unforgiven" then? For me the intriguing part is "while he lived there". How long was he in this town? Why would he stay long enough to be considered living there? Hunts usually don't take more than a few days, maybe a little over a week for the Winchester brothers. I know John had some longer ones, especially when the brothers were growing up and presumably Dean spent a lot of time with Cassie but we rarely hear about long-term hunts. How big does something have to be to rate living there?
ReplyDeleteYou COUNTED? You're further gone than I thought :P
ReplyDeleteMaybe Sam has a girl there? You know, one who gets off on the strong silent soulless type?
ReplyDeletelmao
ReplyDeleteYes, BUT....it's also a Metallica song. :P Love! They're still sticking to the song theme.
ReplyDeleteSOUNDS. AWESOME. Plus, Dabb and Loflin! Yay! High hopes for this one.
ReplyDeleteThis episode will most likely take elements from the movie(as of how "The Third Man" partially took elements from the move) instead of "THE Unforgiven"(the Metallica song).

ReplyDeleteDumb site won't let me edit :(
Wow! Cannot wait for this one! Only 2 more weeks until our beloved show's return! Can't wait! I agree, the "break" has been way too long this time (maybe because I have had way too much going on).
ReplyDeleteHe may hve helped them though as it says Dean is surprised, not shocked and Dean would expect Sam to have behaved badly so he would be surprised by him being good.
ReplyDeleteFor those who might be suggesting that Sam did a good thing and it surprised Dean, not necessarily. It's like a friend of mine said. I doubt that Sam went into that town giving the children candy. Given the title being UNforgiven, I can't see Sam doing a lot of good here. He was trying to keep Dean in the dark about him being back, so not being around Dean I can't see Sam behaving all that well. Another thing it reminds me of is what Sam said back in EOMS. When Dean's neighbors got attacked and he referred to saving them, Sam said "
ReplyDeletehuh. oh yea there was a "The" in from of it wasn't there, lol. >.> I thought there was a song titled "The Third Man" too, or I could be mistaken, I thought I read it some where in a post.
