  1. Oh, I get it, it's to try and promote Off the Map to get the ratings up.

  2. WTF?! And are they f***ing kidding us? Why didn't they announce it earlier?! :-/

  3. I really hope it works, I don't think it is as good as the other two, but I would like it to stick around for a few years.

  4. so when is this episode gonna air?! next week?! didn't we just get back from a multi-week hiatus last week?! why don't they air it on friday night or something?! THIS SUCKS! }:(

  5. lol moving it to friday would make things worse for off the map

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but this series of Private is scheduled to have one less episode that the series of Grey's, so (unless Grey's has the traditional 2 hour finale) this would need to happen anyway?

  7. According to Shonda's twitter a while back, both shows have 22 eps this season.

  8. Yeah that's right, sorry about that.

  9. Even when this (bad) decision i don't think Off The Map will have a 2nd season, my guess: just 12 episode and will be canceled, and just because is a Shond Rhimes show (and ABC loves Shonda!).

So, please, Shonda & co, stick just to 2 shows, focus on write good stories for both and that's all!!

  10. Blame Obama for this.
Lol j/k but not entirely. Ratings for Off the Map were low last night, probably because of the Obama speech that took some traction at the whole ABC night, so they're repeating it today after Grey's to give it some more viewers that might have lost it last night.

  11. everyone who decided to watch obama can watch OTM online at ABC... lol give me my PP back!!!!!!!!!!

  12. which chanel airs this episode in canada?

  13. I watched off the map and while I agree it's not as good as the other two it was a good show. But I want my Private Practice I can't believe this!

  14. The idea is that people who watch Grey's will go, 'Hmmm, I'll check this out' and then watch it on a Wed, which should work.

  15. Uhh in Canada I think it normally airs on A channel, or Access (or both?) and on ABC- and here is where it gets a little weird and VERY ANNOYING, unless I'm mistaken "Off the Map" airs on Global- and not on the various local CTV affiliated channels (i.e. A channel, or Access- aka the channels that would normally air Private Practice) but according to Bell Express View's Schedule at least, none of the Canadian channels that would normally air Private Practice tonight at ten pm EST are, and instead are airing an old episode of Criminal Minds- which is infuriating because that means that even though Off the Map isn't even airing on these channels ABC must have communicated with CTV and their affiliates and stopped them from airing Private Practice even though they don't have the rights to off the map and couldn't give it the time slot on their network even if they wanted to seeing as Global TV bought the rights....> So in other words there was no f*(*ing reason for them not to air it in Canada and therefore no reason for us Canadians not to be able to upload and share with you Americans like good neighbors should... GRRRR

  16. Ah, thanks for the clarification Aly, much appreciated.

  17. I'm not entirely sure. We'll try to find out.

  18. I guess they waited for last nights ratings to come in and saw they
were low so thought they would try to boost the numbers

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yep, they can do what they like :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yep, I think that can be the only reason
