i WATCHED HARRY'S LAW BECAUSE OF THE MAIN CHARACTER WHO IS A SUPERB ACTRESS. WHAT IN THE WORLD DID THE WRITERS HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH THE SLUR ON LIMBAUGH'S CHARACTER?? DO THEY WANT TO LOSE HALF THEIR AUDIENCE THE FIRST NIGHT?
i'LL WATCH ONCE MORE FOR THE SAME REASON BUT IF YOU'RE PLANNING A CAMPAIGN AGAINST CONSERVATIVES I'LL NOT WATCH AGAIN AFTER THAT!!!!!!!!!
Kathy Bates proves once again she's amazing. That scene where she just started arguing with the other lawyer sealed the deal for me. This show seems to scratch that same itch for me that "The Good Wife" does...if it can cut a little of the saccharine stuff out and keep the odd ball comedy elements and the writing up to par, I have a new tv obession! :)
"AHH we have a rat!" *POW* "...Not anymore..." I about fell out of my chair!
I am not sold on her "partner" just yet, but overall the pilot was AWESOME! It made me realize how much I missed David E Kelley's humor on the air since BL left my TV. Adam reminds of Michael Emerson's younger brother... appearance wise. Definitely not the same level of menace. Kelley creates some of the best secondary characters and the opposing attorney is no exception... no exception!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Hello Harry!
ReplyDeleteWhat a refreshing take on law.
Loved The Jeffersons' theme song early in the episode.
This looks like fun. Or is it kismet?
