  1. Congratulations Fringe! SPN's loss is like a knife to the stomach, BUT...I'm happy that another great show nabbed the award when we couldn't. :)

  2. I'm ecstatic Fringe won! I just hope Supernatural fans don't get vicious about it! They have won plenty of other things, it's Fringe's turn to get SOMETHING.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm so glad that Lie to Me is finally getting some recognition. It's a fantastic show! Now let's hope that Fox realizes how great it is and orders a fourth season. :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. FRINGE won! FRINGE won! FRINGE won! I am so excited. This AWESOME show deserves recognition. The FRINGE army is on the march...we'll get a season 4 next. Cant wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ooooooh, I wish The Big BangTheory had won ):

    ReplyDelete
  6. So excited for Hugh and especially Lisa. And most importantly, for LIE TO ME!! I hope this is incentive for Fox for make Season 4 happen!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yes! Those sleepless nights paid off (I said half jokingly). FRINGE WON! Also, hilarious that $#*! My Dad Says won Favourite New TV Comedy when it was voted the worst new show on this website :)

    ReplyDelete
  8. YES. FRINGE FINALLY GETS THE REGONITION IT HAS DESERVED. THIS TIME, PCA. NEXT TIME, THE EMMYS.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I found that pretty hilarious too. I would have thought it'd be Raising Hope since I've heard so much good about that show.

    ReplyDelete
  10. We know how you feel, lol. Congratulations for a well fought win. :) Farewell...I'm going to stab myself with a fork. Maybe it will work. Anything but this heartache.

    ReplyDelete
  11. We better not. We have no right to. We've won our share. :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  14. House swept all of it's categories! HELLLL yeah--Go Hugh and Lisa! :D

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, we got TV Guide cover and E! Best of 2010 so I can't complain. I can contemplate suicide, but I can't complain. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  16. FRINGE WON?!!!!! Amazing!!! Now, I know that there was a lot of effort by people in the online Fringe community (I myself voted a ridiculous # of times) but I was skeptical because the Supernatural fans are a force to be reckoned with. Go Fringe!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Fringe rules. This is awesome. LMH314, I had the same fear. Fringe fans rock.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm happy and now clinically depressed. Glad Fringe won, but mortified SPN lost. Oh...it hurts to even write that. But Fringe is good. But I still want to drink a gallon of bleach.

    ><

We are a force. But we are a small one, lol. Think of us as a demon possessed Yorkshire Terrier. But right now it's sitting in the dog house.

    CRAP!!!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  19. And BTW....If those tards don't televise the SciFi Show Award next year, I'm going to burn everyone's eyes out with lasers.

    ReplyDelete
  20. HAHAH .. hell yeah Lie To Me and Tim Roth = awesome .. take that FOX

    ReplyDelete
  21. CONGRATS #FRINGE, #LIETOME AND #HOUSE! :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fringe rules. This is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm with you. Sat there for 2 hours waiting. Could have already watch 2 episodes with my Fringies.

    ReplyDelete
  24. In retrospect, I'm glad they didn't air it. I probably would have just sat there in despair and not moved the rest of the night.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Congrats Fringies!
Well fought - as SPN fans know - sometimes the little guys do win :D

Now I'm going to join Amy in: drinking a gallon of bleach, stabbing myself with a fork, and contemplating suicide...among other things...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Although, (and I could be wrong so don't quote me, lol) but Fringe has about 5 mil viewers on average. I don't know if that's alot for Fox in the scifi category or not. I only know CW numbers. And for the CW, I think TVD has the highest count with like 3.2 mil? This was a HUGE win for FOX network. I'm glad it got all that recognition.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I am glad Fringe and House won. And i am not really sure if SPN is really considered to be a fantasy show or sci fi. Its more of a horror show isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  28. So which category would you put it in?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well I sure wasn't saying 'little' to belittle Fringe :P
I just meant I don't think the ratings have been all that great (could be wrong - don't shoot me) despite it having (like SPN) a devoted fanbase....
And being up against other more 'hyped' shows......no names mentioned I don't want to start an argument here when we should be celebrating....
even though I'm in excruciating agony......
    Yaaay Fringe!

    ReplyDelete
  30. OMG! Lie to me won!!! I can't believe it! I'm soooo happy! I'm also glad that House won in like- everything!!!! (:

    ReplyDelete
  31. Four rewards... I'm so happy for House !

    ReplyDelete
  32. FRINGE WON FRINGE WON FRINGE WON!!!

Sorry! I voted everyday a lot, but I didn't expect it to win. I'm so happy!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yay for Fringe!!! I'm so happy! :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Great selection of winners... at least based on the limited nominations. Fox cleaned house! Other than a conspicuous absence of cable TV series (other than Dexter) it's a well deserved winners list!

    ReplyDelete
  35. A well deserve win for Shatner and company in my mind. Like I said, most people I know that I told to watch kept watching it and loved it. I was shocked it won, but very happy.it was not Raising Hope which was only ahead of Outsourced in my opinion ranking of the new sitcoms.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I agree , only in the vaguest of definitions are True Blood, Vampire Diaries or Supernatural Science fiction in my mind. They would fall under dramas to me since there is no "horror" category. Not the first time an awards show mis-categorized a nominee... didn't Juthro tull win best HEAVY METAL act a long time ago? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  37. No love for Blue Bloods? Damn.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I agree! IT was my choice of best new series (non-sitcom) of the Fall season.... until I watched The Walking Dead anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  39. This award show is so ridiculous, Lisa Edelstein only won because her fangirls used voting bots. Disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  40. This and any fan-based award show is usually ridiculous... I agree. Considering the nominations though, I think most the winners deserved to win. I mean it is "favorite" not "best" so who can argue with some one's favorite?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Why is House so popular? It's the same show every week :\

    ReplyDelete
  42. I lost interest in it for that very reason... well, and the fact Dr. house would have lost his license more than a few years back for all the stunts he pulls. My suspension of disbelief has limits I guess... The funny thing is that I think the showrunners realize it is the same thing every week because they have tried to change things around so much each season. No matter who lives with whom, or who dates or breaks up to me it is the same every week... Still an entertaining show to watch now and again, but getting more and more stale since the novelty of 'who wants to be a miserable house team member' wore off a couple seasons back.

All that said... look at who House's nominees were up against and you can see why they one every time. Even while getting stale House is better than most of its "competition" in the nominated categories.

    ReplyDelete
  43. YAY!!!!! GO FRINGE!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad TVD didn't get that one O.o
So SPN last year and FRINGE this year!!!!! I'm so pleased! :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Your posts are becoming increasingly alarming... :/

    ReplyDelete
  45. OMG I know RIGHT!? They had Latifah run up to The Twilight people and the Kardashians and just awkwardly yell at them for like 10 minutes each! Easily could've thrown in the best Sci fi show!!! UGH.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm so pleased too! So glad that fringe is getting the recognition it deserves! (and for that matter SPN!)

    ReplyDelete
  47. No way. The Good Wife's second season is WAY better than House's seventh. Anyways...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Exactly. People's Choice gives awards to the favorites not to the best, so I guess pretty much any result is ok.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hey :) Didn't mean it to come across as argumentative, lol. I didn't think you were belittling it either. :) I was saying that it's quite as little (in total viewership) as an average CW show. Honestly I'm surprised that they only average 5 mil viewers. I would have thought it would have been more. It's a good show, and unlike others around, refreshingly different. It's one of those prime time network shows that also happens to have a decent sized fanbase. The perfect storm of a show. Like Lost and X-files. It's for that reason that I would so rather wish SPN was on a major network. If it was, I would have known that it existed and caught it while it was in it's first season.

    ReplyDelete
  50. LMAO...its ok. I have coffee now. And the stabbing sensation in my gut and kidney's is slowly ebbing away. Must have been that bottle of pills I swallowed last night... >.>

    ReplyDelete
  51. I like that Fringe won. We won last year so as long as TVD and TB didn't win, I was happy. Glad you acknowledge the 'aggressive' SPN fans, as Jensen calls us.

But seriously, where the hell did the Fringe fanbase come from o.O Ya'll just snuck in there like "BAM! We exist, yo." and I was like "Holy snap! Bigger fanbase!" It was cool. It feel like watching Fringe now, because it looks like a cool show and it won. But not during Hellatus. Hellatus is for SPN things. Like crying that it lost, even if it was to a great show.

Either way, where the hell did ya'll come from, Fringe online fanbase?! Where ya been hiding?!!??

    ReplyDelete
  52. I really like Raising Hope actually. But it's probably not as much awesome shenanigans at Shatner can pull. This is a comedy category after all, most laughs wins.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Like what Amy said! The small horror show that could supports other small shows that can! Glad Fringe won since it's a great show.

    (WestillgottheTVGuideCoverthough -zooms off- KIDDING, KIDDING!)

    ReplyDelete
  54. NCIS should've won something... =/

    ReplyDelete
  55. horror of course. hopefully they will have a horror category next year

    ReplyDelete
  56. Honestly, I have not watched The Good Wife yet. I keep meaning to give it a try since I hear so many good things, LOVE Titus Welliver and Josh Charles, but I never seem to get around to it. I think if you look at the people that watch The Good Wife and most of the other shows nominated, it has a huge disadvantage in any fan-vote based contest. I think it skews older and probably has less fanatical fans to vote multiple times for it.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Also I think the category "Drama" is broad enough to cover Supernatural too honestly. They split all shows into 2 categories, Drama and Comedy, and then decide to have one lonely sub-category of SciFi/Fantasy.... does not make sense to me. Why not have Horror, or Historical Drama, or Dramady or Music-based, Mystery, Law-based, Cop-based or Serialized or Episodic or any number of other categories. And while I am venting... if they have a favorite crime-fighter, category why not have a best criminal category? Doesn't every crime fighter need some one to chase?

    ReplyDelete
  58. We're not little its a huuge fanbase and the ratings might not be stellar this season, but it's a lot ore than a lot of shows ;).

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nah....I didn't think you were being argumentative.....
it just occurred to me that maybe some Fringies might have thought I was being sarcastic when I wasn't....
So I was making sure I wasn't misunderstood....
We as SPN fans know what it's like to have to fight for your show, so a little solidarity with our Fringie friends can only be a good thing, right? :)

  60. Lie to Me and $#*! My Dad Says? I'm confused.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I was somewhat surprised by Lie to Me too since I think Season Two was not nearly as good as Season One. I was happily surprised by Shit My Dad Says winning. I think it is the second best new sitcom of the year behind Mike & Molly (and maybe The Big C), but I assumed Mike & Molly would win or people would vote for a show I do not get at all ... Raising Hope.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Happy that Fringe won, yay!!

Now if only Modern Family had beat Glee...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Fringe is a great show. A lot of the first season you can skip, (the ones that have to do with John and the Tank are especially painful to watch) but once you hit the AMAZING season 1 finale, it will become MUST WATCH TV, and it just keeps getting better from there.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Drama is broad enough to cover pretty much every sci-fi/fantasy show.
And if they had a horror category, that would include, what, only Supernatural and The Walking Dead?
