Hey, it's not cancelled (well, it's a miniseries so no matter what we would not have seen more of it after the 8th episode anyway) but the show will still air in Canada in March (just as it was originally planned in the US) and several european countries bought the rights to air the show later this year!
So it's not that bad. I don't know why but I think that AMC would be the right US channel for The Kennedys if they buy the rights, I don't see any other cable channel airing this miniseries. There's no way this thing will be kept in a drawer forever, even if History was weak and bent over the threats made by the Kennedy family about this mini-series (apparently it's the reason why it was removed of their schedule, the family didn't like it), I'm sure other channels won't have to be afraid to go against the will of some people.
The trailer is very good and the cast looks amazing. It seems very interesting (I didn't expect less from the producers of 24), I'll watch it.
Yeah, apparently it will air on History Television in Canada (the channel belongs to Draw Media), this channel is not affiliated with History Channel in the US (which belongs to A&E). The show it slated to premiere on March 6th on History Television. So we will all be able to see it as it aired in the US, hopefully.
It's impressive how Katie Holmes is great in the character, same is Greg Kinnear. I smell Emmys and Golden Globes for them.
i'm sooo gonna watch it! *-* Greg Kinnear loks awesome! and so does the entire cast and show! But it'll probably get to Brazil anytime between next semester and 2 thousand and never. ¬¬
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
