Although it won’t salve TSCC‘s wound, I am very much looking forward to The Cape, even if NBC can’t launch a new show to save it’s life, literally. Keith David and Summer Glau can make anything fun to watch. Plus I actually liked the preview.
The Cape Looks awesome, I can’t wait. Seeing Summer Glau in it reminds me of how Terminator got cancelled before its time…Anyways, looks like it’ll be great. From what I can remember mid-season replacements are rarely very good and don’t get picked up for additional seasons. Hopefully this will break that trend because it looks great and more superhero-esque than “Heroes” ever was..
looking forward to The Cape as well. I’m hoping it does not wander into the “hero full of angst” realm, and that we don’t have to suffer the indignity of a mystical or magical component. Plus yes, it’ll be good to watch Summer stretch her acting bounds. I guess there are positives and negatives with being typecast, so I’m interested in seeing her in something other than Ican-kill-anything roles.
It would be nice to see her to something other than bad-ass chica!! I agree. That is assuming she can. I have sen her do slightly Schizophrenic in 4400, slightly incoherent and bad ass in Firefly, and slightly catatonic(cyborg) in TSCC... NONE of which were a great dramatic role or a stretch to anyone's acting chops.
There have been some good mid-season pick ups (Married With Children, The Simpsons, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Damages, The Tudors etc), but I agree most are not stellar.
Already posted. Titles are like 'dont judge a book by it's cover'. The person that uploaded copied it from You Tube and reposted it with a different title to make it look like a new promo. Trust me I have seen this person done this already

NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
