I'm always willing to give a 'pilot' a shot.
ReplyDeleteThe show needs real orchestral underscoring like this and not some stupid 'hip hop' score .
Does it sound like a superhero theme or what? Hard to say.
ReplyDeleteMust watch the intro and the score at the same time.
I like it! There’s a lot of Shirley Walker’s Batman sound in there, particularly in the brass. I’m definitely interested now to see how it works with the visuals.
ReplyDeleteI’m happy they don’t stick Summer Glau behind a desk like Chloe on Smalville or make her a damsel in distress or something. She’s too much of a badass for that.
ReplyDeleteAnd what AWESOME actors they have cast as villians! Lookin forward to some criminal masterminds or simply twisted baddies in this and not some one-dimensional nemesis like so many shows have.
Why not just have Summer Glau in the title role, I’d rather see her kicking ass as the main.
ReplyDeleteHere are the "FULL FEATURETTES" with extras in HD, Enjoy!

Honestly, Bear McCreary's involvement is a good selling point on this one for me.
ReplyDeleteBecause Summer is not a very good actress honestly... LOL. *ducks objects thrown by fanboys* I don't think there is any way she could be the lead in a successful series at this point in her career... much like Eliza Dushku (another actress I like by the by).
