The Bridge cancelled in Canada - renewal taken back
14 Jan 2011
Cancelled ShowsCTV announced today it is moving forward on the development of new projects from producer Craig Bromell, actor Aaron Douglas and Entertainment One (eOne). The re-focusing comes as CTV, Bromell and eOne have mutually agreed not to proceed with a second season of THE BRIDGE, as previously announced.
“We have had a tremendous run,” said Executive Producer Craig Bromell. “I am very thankful for having had the chance to work with so many talented people behind and in front of the camera. We could not bring all of the necessary elements together to create a successful second season. CTV has been so supportive throughout the life of the show and I look forward to working with them on other ideas.”

I never even heard of this show, but that sucks. And how do you take back a renewal?
ReplyDeleteBizarre! It was not a hugely popular show or the best made, but it was fun! Douglas got to show off his leading man skills and sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteit happens sometimes like Southland on NBC i assume they pay a penalty
