Breakout Kings - Casting News - Mark Pellegrino to Guest
7 Jan 2011
Cancelled ShowsOnetime island protector Mark Pellegrino has been cast as a trained assassin in A&E’s upcoming fugitive-themed drama Breakout Kings, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Pellegrino will guest star as Virgil Downing, a notorious international contract killer who always gets the job done. (Translation: He’s Sayid!) Although he’s suspected in at least-three dozen other killings, his only conviction was for murdering a police commissioner — six years prior to breaking out of his maximum-security cell.

I've not heard of this show.. well before this. I'm going to give it a go! It won't be anywhere near as good as Prison Break, but they're related so i'm sure it will be enjoyable + Mark Pellegrino is one of my favourite actors!! Hell yeah! And Robert Knepper will appear...even better :D
ReplyDeleteTo say Mark Pellegrino will guest on a series is like saying a series will be airing on TV in general. I was watching a DVD of my nieces synchronized swimming competition with them on Christmas night and damned if Mark Pellegrino did not make an appearance and steal the show!
ReplyDeleteah damn. I hoped he'd guest star as Lucifer who broke out of his cage again :D
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. He is fugitive or he in U.S. marshals team?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a pile of crap (The title for a start is one of the worst titles in TV history)... but I might watch anyway just to see how they weave T-Bag into the story. That's a nice touch, but I'm not expecting this to be any good... hopefully it will prove me wrong.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree the title may be one of the worst I have heard! It is A&E though and I love the only other original scripted series I watch on the channel, The Glades...... So I will tune in to see how it is.
ReplyDeleteHa lol
ReplyDeletemark & knipper in the same time at the same place ! now what do we need more ?!
ReplyDeletei know : how a bout william fichtner & chris vance ?!
Ha..sounds like an acne infomercial. Breakout Kings. But gotta say, I'm digging Mark Pellegrino anytime. Love his cool style
