Ausiello - NCIS Readies Tony-Centric Prequel

NCISNCIS is about to go digging around in Tony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) past.
Executive producer Shane Brennan confirms to me exclusively that a Spring episode will delve into DiNozzo’s life before he became an NCIS agent (and the object of Ziva’s unrequited lust).
“The episode will reveal much about DiNozzo’s past as a Baltimore cop,” previews Brennan. “And yes, we’ll hear the first words exchanged between DiNozzo and Gibbs. It’s a memorable first meeting.”
NCIS, which currently ranks as TV’s most-watched scripted hour with an average of 21.3 million viewers, has been on a bit of an origin-episode kick this season. This fall, the show flashed back to the early days of Rocky Carroll’s Vance.

We know McGee's past from being a probie pretty much, Abby's back story does not interest me very much at all since I see her bring who she is before she started working at NCIS and we know a lot of Gibb's from the past seasons . So to me the only choice other than Tony's would be Ziva and Ducky (since Kate and Jenny are long gone). Frankly I like the mystery in Ziva's past so I am not sure I would want to know too much about it and Ducky's past would require a different actor to play a younger him. So for me Tony's past will be fun but then no mas!

Well, stopped watching NCIS during season 7, but for this I might be tuning in again.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way... I lost interest a season or three ago, but I will tune in for this (or at least DVR it) and get some DiNozzo flashback fun.

I want to see Abby's past!! I also want to learn a little more about Ziva's and what actually transpired when she went home with her half-brothers body. ABBY FIRST THOUGH!!!
