ABC Pilot News - 2 New Shows and Charlie's Angels Pickup
Jan 14, 2011
Cancelled Shows Pilot ShowsOn the heels of its decision to take Charlie’s Angels to the next level, ABC has ordered two more drama pilots that are sure to skew female if ordered to series in May. The first one is Partners from Ed Bernero (Criminal Minds) that centers on two female police detectives who are fiercely loyal to one another since they’re also secretly sisters.
The second one is dubbed Grace, a one-hour from Krista Vernoff (Grey’s Anatomy) and Carrie Ann Inaba (yep, that Inaba from Dancing with the Stars) that focuses on a dysfunctional family set in the world of professional dance. We trust it will boast a generous sequin budget and, with any luck, a cameo or two by Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

These don't sound all that great, in my honest opinion. Secret sisters? Really? How long would that even hold up in the actual plotline? Would they be allowed to be partners once that secret got out? Because it's a secret...that means it WON'T be a secret for long. Maybe it's just how it's on paper that's so off-putting but that's just my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have 0 interest in this dance craze stuff, I don't watch any "reality" or competition shows. Don't plan to, either.
