The Wedding Band - Brian Austin Green and Harold Perrineau join cast

TBS announced Friday that Brian Austin Green and Harold Perrineau have joined the hourlong comedy pilot, The Wedding Band.

The project follows a group of guys who perform in a wedding to escape the stress and chaos of their daily lives. The band is led by best friends — one bachelor and one a married father of two — who make sure every event is memorable. Wedding Band also stars Peter Cambor (NCIS: Los Angeles) and Derek Miller (Secret Girlfriend).

The pilot was written by South Park vets Josh Lobis and Darin Moiselle, who will also executive produce. Bryan Gordon (Curb Your Enthusiasm) will direct and co-executive produce the pilot.

Green, best remembered for his 10-year residency on Beverly Hills, 90210, is currently guest-starring on Desperate Housewives. Perrineau is known for his roles on Lost and Oz.

  1. Harold Perrineau plus those 2 guys that have been involved in South Park (even though in only 3 episodes), might be worth watching.

  2. Hopefully this will go better than the latest Harold's show.

  3. Hopefully. I liked The Unusuals, wasn't the usual cop show, it had potential.

  4. sounds like an odd, but at least somewhat original idea for a show.
