The Walking DeadHey Guys,
So 'The Walking Dead' ends tonight, and I thought it could be fun for people to predict what is going to happen, discuss Season One and so on.
There's a couple of polls here as well to get people going. If anyone has a poll question they want, then comment below by 19:00 Eastern time and I'll stick it in! :)
Update: I reset the Jenner Poll so that Crazy, and other is now an option. As it was a bit limited! :P
My General Prediction for the finale!
I think Dr. Jenner is going to turn out as false hope, and they're gonna end the season with the gang out in the open with a heck-load of zombies homing in on them. Bit of a cliffhanger type thing.
Vote below and comment on the episode, during the episode and after the episode. Once it's aired I'll stick the episode poll in here as well.

ReplyDeleteNo predictions here, I am terrible at predictions. But I don't want any from our group to die, I do expect lots of dead zombies though. I am mostly dreading the hiatus coming up. Long hiatuses tempt me to read spoilers. I am planning on getting the first book and read that though, not really a spoiler.

ReplyDeleteApparently Shane gets killed off early in the graphic novel series but I read the article from Entertainment Weekly on The Walking Dead where the creaters said they thought there was more story to tell with him so I dont think hes gonna die tonight. But Rick IS gonna find out what Shane and Laura have been up too!! LOL!! Also could Laura be pregnant?! I think Dr.Jenner who seems to have gone crazy from lack of human contact in under 63 days lol! And who has also destroyed his last batch of zombie samples is going to infect one or more of the survivors in a bid to get some new ones!! Its really to bad this was filmed way in advance to airing cause I had been hoping that after they saw how well the show was doing that we would get a full season instead of only 6 episodes!! now we have to wait until next fall for this fabulous show to continue?! Argh! Lol!

I think that Jenner is not good or bad. He's crazy. I guess that he dies, and maybe some of the new characters like Jacqui or T-Dog. Also, because Rick tried to contact him and all that, I think that Morgan will be seen again.

ReplyDeleteI really like the Andrea character and was it just me or as there some interest detected when she was looking at Rick during epi 2 when they were in the store standing guard?! Just a thought since Laura did the deed with Shane and Rick is gonna find out about that in the finale!! I could be okay with a furture Rick/Andrea pairing - that is if crazy Dr. Jenner doesnt infect her first!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Kate! I sort of wish that they made more than six episodes, too. But I say it's a good thing, too. Because it does give them time to do better! Yes, this season has kicked ass! But there's always room for improvement!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Im not a horror fan but as soon as I tuned into this show it had me from the first minute even if I do have a moment or two when I may scream out loud lol!! I really cant wait to see what they are going to do next season!! I hope they build on this momentum and just keep making it better and better!!
ReplyDeleteI think 2 will die, the Batshit crazy doctor and one other I cannot decide, but I doubt it's Shane. They will keep him along to have the love triangle. I think neither Merle or Morgan will be back this season.

ReplyDeleteBecause that's exactly what I think, that he lost it.
I know this definitely isn't the popular opinion, but I'm hoping the show diverges from the novel and Shane pulls through. I actually prefer Shane to Rick, as Shane seems to be more charismatic and flawed, which to me is more interesting to watch. Similarly I hope Daryl doesn't go down tonight, as he makes an interesting foil. On the other hand, I wouldn't so much mind Lori's death, and not because of the whole unintentional affair thing, but because I want to see Rick go off the deep end.

ReplyDeleteWoW!! Cant believe the doc has trapped them inside thinking its for the best - a mass suicide with no other option?! Damn this show is so intense and so good!!

ReplyDeleteWell, the only one we got right was that 2 people would die, and technically we picked Jenner as one of the top two we hoped would die. So we were right there too! :P
ReplyDeleteWow!! That was quite the episode!! Full of suspense!! Sad that Jackie decided to die along with doc Jenner but Im glad everyone else made it out safe!! Now as for what the doc whispered in Rick's ear - either he told him of a place he heard they should go or he had cameras in all the rooms and saw what happened between Shane and Lori and told Rick to watch out for him and what he saw happen!! After all we all saw Shane point his rifle at an unsuspecting Rick when they were out in the forest in episode 5 - Shane wants him out of the way!! I am definitely going to check out the graphic novels especially to fill the time til season two!!
ReplyDeleteYes it was really shocking! I was hoping for an exended finale like we had an extended opener but no such luck!! Dang it! The long wait sets in now for season 2!

ReplyDeleteI also thought that (about the scene in the store) but I wish the best for that character Andrea and to reduce an enteresting female character to near zero you just make her girlfriend of the male main character...
ReplyDeleteAs for Shane and Lori, I'm still not convinced that their affair started only after the zombie holocaust, because of that episode-1 scene in a police car between Shane and Rick: he was complaining of Lori's attitude towards him, of lack of interest or understanding. Shane was very cocky at giving some advice, so for me the affair was way before Rick's "assumed death" at the hospital. Let's be honest: she was a widow for about 2 or 3 weeks and the way she rolled that floor with Shane wasn't as if it was her first time out... ;)
Thought It was a real shame Jacqui decided to stay behind - i felt her character could have been developed a bit more - very intense episode and pleased the others made it out!
