Last Week's Winners - Best One-Shot PiP
Although the polling for season 5's best one-shot PiP is still open, in the tradition of politics, I am going to call it early. So without further delay, I announce the winners of Best One-Shot PiP...
Season 1 - Sarah Blake (109 votes) from Provenance with 26% of the vote, followed by Layla Rourke (67 votes) from Faith with 16% of the vote.
Season 2 - This was the closest vote we've had yet with a mere 8 votes separating first place from third place. In first place was Tiny from Folsom Prison Blues with 68 votes, followed by Lenore from Bloodlust with 64 votes and Detective Diana Ballard from The Usual Suspects with 60 votes.
Season 3 - The dominant winner was Nancy Fitzgerald from Jus in Bello with 146 votes (49% of the vote) followed by Alan J. Corbett of Ghostfacers with 108 votes (36%).
Season 4 - The suicidal Teddy Bear from Wishful Thinking took 41% with 149 votes with Jimmy Novak from The Rapture at 28% with 102 votes.
Season 5 - Although season 5 voting is not over, Future Dean currently has 48% of the vote, so I feel good about calling it. If Old Dean, who has 28% of the vote, suddenly takes over, I'll let you know in the first poll for this this week.
This week's topic: Best One-Shot Antagonist or Monster
There you have the winners of last week's poll; now it's time to start nominating for this week. In all honesty I had the hardest time naming this poll. I originally named it Best Monster, but people on SpoilerTv tend to be very literal and there were plenty of good villains that were not technically monsters. Then I named it Best Villain, but that leaves out the sympathetic monsters like Madison from Heart and Casey from Sin City. Since I fully expect Madison to win for season 2, I couldn't leave her out. This category, as I see it, encompasses any character that appeared only once (one-shot) in the show, who the Winchester brothers tried to stop or worked against. Hopefully that makes sense. So while I am still searching for a good title, and please give suggestions in the comments section, for now it is going to be Best One-Shot Antagonist or Monster.
In the comments below please nominate one or two antagonists/villains from seasons 1 - 5. We will not include season 6 for now because it is only halfway done. For those of you new to nominating, we will nominate until the end of the day Tuesday (midwest USA time) and then begin voting on Wednesday. Voting usually remains open for about 2 days for each round also.
I look forward to hearing all your great nominations. In my opinion, season 1 rules this weekly topic too since it was chock full of one-shot monsters. We tend to have more people vote than nominate so I appreciate anyone who spreads the word at this point. Hopefully, we will have less people unhappy that their favorite wasn't nominated this way. And as always, thanks for helping to pass the hiatus time here on SpoilerTV.
***Screencaps from Screencap Paradise, Supernatural Caps, supernatural.tv, and supernaturalfansonline. My recaps found at dahne1.blogspot.com.

Season 1 is by far the hardest for me. How do I choose between Constance, who started everything, the shtriga, who went after kids - how low can you go, the rawheads who almost killed Dean, and Bloody Mary, the most iconic villain of them all. And that's just the beginning for season 1. All the others were a bit easier. In the end, I go with…
ReplyDeleteSeason 1 -
Shapeshifter Dean from Skin- one of the most evil characters of the season
Scarecrow from Scarecrow- "fugly" doesn't even begin to cover how menacing this thing looks
Season 2 -
Djinn from What is and What Should Never Be - death by wish fulfillment is just dastardly
Ansem Weems from Simon Said- made me fear for Sam and the other "special kids"
Season 3 -
Madge Carrigan from A Very Supernatural Christmas - the best combination of evil masking as good
Casey from SIn City - the first time I felt sorry for a demon
Season 4 -
Dracula from Monster Movie - a pathetic monster who made a good episode even better
Nick Munroe from Sex and Violence - for being the best twist on an old monster tale SPN has ever had
Season 5 -
War from Good God, Y'All - because he's freaking War
Patrick from The Curious Case of Dean Winchester - he intrigued me and I would love to know more of his back story
So who are your choices?
Anyone have a good idea for future weekly poll questions, please add them int he comments below. We have enough ideas for the winter hiatus I think, but we need a lot more to get us through the summer hiatus, and that's the killer. Thanks to everyone who have already given ideas.
ReplyDeleteOnce again with the mind reading.....how do you do it? You sure you're not one of those 'special kids'?
ReplyDeleteI'm going away now to sulk and try to think of some more nominees.....
Just great minds thinking together :-) If it helps I have at least 2 other favorite "bad guys" for each season I didn't get to nominate. I can pass you my cheat sheet. I'm not sure what it says about me or the show that my favorite monster list is far bigger than my favorite PiP list.
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be difficult, I love so many monsters/antagonists.
ReplyDeleteseason 1: The benders. Nobody was more scary in season 1.
season 2: demon!Sam. technically it's just Meg but she was so different in Sam's body and one of the most impressive antagonists of the show and she only posessed him once.
season 3: Casey. I love her. She was sexy, funny and the best female demon on SPN. Why couldn't she have played the part of the scheming demon aka Ruby?
season 4: The easiest - 'I got a coupon' Dracula-shapeshifter-mummy
season 5: Patrick. He was a he-witch. Why doesn't he call himself a warlock? lol He had a great sense of humor and he gave Sam the clap by clapping. Lol
Demon-possessed Sam was also on my list for season 2. He was my favorite Sam before RoboSam came along at least once he stopped pretending to be confused. The Benders brought one of my favorite quotes from season 1 - "Demons I get. People are crazy."
ReplyDeleteSeason 1: pagan scarecrow god, Bloody Mary
ReplyDeleteSeason 2: H.H. Holmes, Madison
Season 3: Witch coven, Leap year Ghost- Freeman Daggett, 7 deadly sins demons
Season 4: Meg Masters (spirit of possessed girl), Ghost sickness Luther Garland
Season 5: Brady, Famine
I think the season finale will give us a few more ideas for the summer hiatus. ;D Of course, only if the season finale is not the series finale and this summer hiatus is not the beginning of SPN's everlasting hellatus.
ReplyDeleteShhhh don't even think that....
ReplyDeleteI still like demon!Sam more than Robo!Sam. Demon!Sam was so entertaining evil! The scene with Jo was so scary and awesome.
ReplyDeleteNever going to happen. The CW doesn't have anything to replace it that they know will have a strong fan base. Next year, in my opinion, is a done deal. Now the year after....who knows.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's the CW. I don't trust them to base their decisions on reason. ;D
ReplyDelete1- woman in white(first monster/ghost ever) and bloody mary
ReplyDelete2- dr h.h. holmes the psycho, and madison
3- CASEY!!! i really liked her and the creepy immortal doctor who uses different body parts, hehehe
4- dracula and the children in the walls in "family remains" very creepy!!!!!
5- patrick and famine
p.s.
i know that we only nominate until season 5 but I would just like to include the goddess of truth from season 6 :D
Good choices - Bloody Mary was on my list for season 1 also and I expect Madison to get lots of votes for season 2 since so many people loved her. Personally, I hope it's the djinn that wins that one though. Ashamed to admit that I had to look Freeman Daggett up - made sense when I saw he was from Ghostfacers. I usually avoid that episode. I had Brady on my season 5 list too and spent more time debating between him and Patrick than any other season.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's the CW. I don't trust them to base their decisions on reason. ;D
ReplyDeleteI still like demon!Sam more than Robo!Sam. Demon!Sam was so entertainingly evil! The scene with Jo was so scary and awesome.
ReplyDeleteI loved how H. H. Holmes was based on a real person so it gave the story more heft. I had just finished reading The Devil in White City, about Holmes and the Chicago World's Fair, when the episode took place. I wish I hadn't though because some of their "facts" about Holmes weren't true so that bugged me. Holmes did not have a preference of who he killed - he was an equal-opportunity serial killer, not blondes only.
ReplyDeleteConstance, the woman in white, was on my list too, mostly because she was the first. The first time I saw the pilot I was amazed by how much it felt like a mini-horror movie. It made mer jump the first time I saw Constance in the back seat even though I knew it was going to happen.
how about favorite episode? are you done with that? maybe you could do it per season then, from those episodes we could vote for the top episodes for the whole five seasons.
ReplyDeleteThanks! That's on the list too. I'm glad what you guys are thinking is similar to what I'm thinking. It makes me feel in tune with what the Supernatural community wants to talk about.
ReplyDeleteSeason 1
ReplyDeleteBloody Mary from Bloody Mary - I really liked her way of going after people with bad secrets, even though she took it a bit far, and in the end dying becuase of she had become a murderer..
Crazy people from Scarecrow- Sacrificing your own niece(?), that's low!
Season 2 -
H.H Holmes from No Exit - Ugh, this is the most scariest and disgusting ghost in my opinion..
Madison from Heart - Even though I thought it was too extreme to ask to be killed, she was fun character up until then.
Season 3 -
Pride from The Magnificent Seven - even though he was only on screen for a minute or so, I freaking loved him!
Casey from Sin City - she was a bad guy that you felt sympathetic for..
Season 5 -
War from Good God, Y'All - the most awesome horseman besides Death
Patrick from The Curious Case of Dean Winchester - Yeah, he was just pure awsome!
the coolest thing is that there is that the "white lady" is a very popular ghost here in our country which is basically the same with the story on how it attracts victims, she usually stays near big trees and usually takes people who drive by her. there are so many accounts of those cases here even before the start of the series
ReplyDeleteHere goes:
ReplyDeleteSeason1: The Reaper from Faith. That was the scariest - it will kill you. You can't kill it.
Little girl from Provenance. Creepy.
Season 2: Madison from Heart - so sad.
Season 3: The Changelings from The Kids Are Alright - did I already mention creepy kids?
Casey, for reasons already mentioned by others.
Season 4: Dracula - "I have a coupon". "Continue to serve me well, and you're life will be spared!"
I totally forgot Luthor, so he gets my 2nd vote.
Season 5: The Wraith. A very strategic monster.
Famine. Both young and old are creepy.
And I have another idea for a week - best use of one-shot music!
Are you from Central or South America? I know it is a very popular legend in Southwest America too.
ReplyDeleteFunniest overall episode......
ReplyDeletePride was awesome. He certainly made the most of his limited screen time. In fact he is one of the few 7 Sins I could actually tell the difference between.
ReplyDeleteasia actually, that's why i never thought that we would have same "myths".
ReplyDeleteSeason 1 : Shtriga and Wendigo
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 : Zombie and Djinn
Season 3 : this is a tough one, but I'm going with Casey and the Changelings
Season 4 : Siren and Ghouls
Season 5 : Famine and Kali
along with lust. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool. I don't know much about Asian urban legends and myths.
ReplyDeleteThe changelings were awesome. Changeling Katie might be the creepiest kid on Supernatural - more than even Creepy Peter from Dead in the Water.
ReplyDeleteI like the music idea but nothing, absolutely NOTHING, beats Renegade by Styx in the Nightshifter episode. That may be the best use of music in any episode of all time. And I watched Cold Case were the music was a character in and of itself.
That would be Changing Channels....no Mystery Spot...no Changing Channels. Definitely a good choice for a topic, provided that Ghostfacers doesn't win. :-) I hate that episode. Or any highly meta one.
ReplyDeleteI loved the shtriga, mostly because any monster that feeds of kids' life force is downright evil. I also liked it because the shtriga brought us our first flashback to when Dean and Sam were kids. It gave us a glimpse into what life was liek for them, alone and in the grasp of a real monster.
ReplyDeleteyeah changing channels was great.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Dahne. Season 1 is very difficult.
ReplyDeleteI go with:
Season 1: Shapeshifter Dean and the Benders
Season 2: Demon Sam and the djinn
Season 3: Mrs. Carrigan and Casey
Season 4: Nick Munroe because he all but tore the brothers apart. Dracula because I just loved the character
Season 5: Famine and Brady
Most irritating character of the whole series.....
ReplyDeleteI don't know... I liked Peace of Mind by Boston at the end of hookman. Or any Foreigner song. Their my favourite band. :)
ReplyDeleteThe part where Katie was banging at the door was probably my scariest moment.Ever.
OOoo. I know, I know. Pick me. Pick me......Is it Becky? Yep, has to be Becky. :-P
ReplyDeleteYou all have fabulous ideas. If it weren't for the fact that we have no new Dean and Sam, I would almost be looking forward to the hiatus.
I think we'd get too many votes for that girl in "Route 666". :)
ReplyDeleteWe definitely need more Foreigner on the show. What am I saying - at this point I would take more classic rock of any kind. I hate these budget cuts that have killed one of my favorite parts of Supernatural - all the great music.
ReplyDeleteRobo-sam? i mean common, he tried to kill bobby
ReplyDeleteI think Shapeshifter Dean edged out the competition for me because it was the first time we saw a monster become one of the brothers. It made it more personal and almost violating. Add to that the fact that this shapeshifter could download the original person's memory and use it against their loved ones is sinister.
ReplyDeleteAw, I liked RoboSam. Granted I didn't like the fact that he tried to kill Bobby or that he let Dean get turned, but he was funny and so to the point. I will miss RoboSam when Angsty/EmoSam returns.
ReplyDeletebest line from Sam, Dean Cas and Bobby
ReplyDeleteand another category for other characters
Ugliest motel room...
ReplyDeletePerhaps their saving up for the dragon?
ReplyDeleteFor that matter, we definitely need some U2, Beatles, and Stones. I can name more, but I shouldn't complain - we could be getting hip hop or Disco.
or, ComaSam, depending on what happens when his soul returns :P
ReplyDeleteNope. That'll never happen - the fans would riot, Kripke would throw a hissy fit and Kim Manners would turn in his grave (may he rest in peace)
ReplyDeletehow about heat of the moment by asia? :))
ReplyDeletebut that had a purpose - Trickster/Gabe stuck that in to help drive home the point that Sam was stuck in a very bad place.
ReplyDeleteBad Day at Black Rock!! lol I'm just too crazy about that episode, so excuse me... ;P although Mystery Spot is a close second.
ReplyDeleteHissy fit? He'd probably bomb the CW. :)
ReplyDeleteThe infamous dragon. This CGI might end up being the scariest thing we've ever seen on SPN. I'm hoping they go the hellhounds way because I'm seeing Puff the Magic Dragon in my mind and I won't be able to stop laughing if that's the case.
ReplyDeleteLove that one too. It has my favorite Sam line of all time - "I lost my shoe." I love how he looks so young when he says it and then it hits superawesome status with Dean's head shake reaction. You can just imagine scenes similar to this happening throughout their childhood.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hope they try to make it deliberately funny or just you only see a shadow or some blood. Another idea is that they could make it not look like a dragon - like a fire breathing scaly human?
ReplyDeleteBest angel aside from Cas? You know, cause Cas would win that for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat about the best fake I.D. names for each season?
ReplyDeleteScariest Supernatural moment/scene?
ReplyDeleteI'm actually going to pull executive rank on the recurring character polls. Dean, Sam, Bobby, and Castiel will not be choices. They would either make the poll turn into a brother flame war, which I am soooo not interested in reading much less creating, or they would be lopsided to the point of being worthless. I'd rather have fun and have a good conversation with these polls.
ReplyDeleteWelcome. I love your name! Good question since there have been so many classics they have thrown around.
ReplyDeleteOoo this could go so many ways. I like this one, especially since I have no idea which scene I would choose. Gory is one thing but scary is something entirely different.
ReplyDeletemy picks for the upcoming poll would be:
ReplyDeleteseason 1: shtriga
season 2: evil clown and the djinn (and do the croatoan infected people count?)
season 3: changelings and pagan gods
season 4: Dracula and the twins from Family Remains
season 5: War, Famine and Kali
That's a good idea. I saw one time on a different website a huge Sam/Dean argument. Literally 50 comments got deleted and a few people got banned. Not to mention the no-life hackers.
ReplyDeleteSeason 1: Shapeshifter Dean from Skin & Dr. Ellicott from Asylum
ReplyDeleteSeason 2: The Djinn from What is and What Should Never Be & the Shapeshifter from Nightshifter
Season 3: Casey from Sin City & The Carrigans from A Very Supernatural Christmas
Season 4: Dracula from Monster Movie (I guess I really like the shapeshifters haha.) & The of Dirk in After School Special.
Season 5: The Wraith from Sam, Interrupted & Leah Gideon from 99 Problems
I can't believe no one mentioned the rashaka before this. That evil clown gave me fits and I'm not normally afraid of clowns. I won't be stopping by Medford, Wisconsin any time soon - especially if the circus is in town.
ReplyDeleteDr. Ellicott is on my list too. His brand of crazy led to one of my favorite suspense moments of season 1, when Sam shoots Dean with the rock salt. It was very intense, getting Asylum into my top 20 episodes of all time.
ReplyDeleteHow about funniest mistakes that ended up on screen?
ReplyDeleteex. Metalllica tape playes ACDC; man giving Dean coffee says "here you go, Jensen"; Death's drink has more in it after he drinks from it then before he drinks; etc.
Have we got best season title card on the list?
ReplyDeleteSeason 1: The ghost from Provenence
ReplyDeleteSeason 2: Madison the werewolf from Heart
Season 3: Casey the demon from Sin City
Season 4: The siren from Sex and Violence or the ghost from Yellow Fever
Season 5: Even though he wasnt an evil monster, i loved Cupid from My Bloody Valentine
Hmm... before I change my mind...
ReplyDeletes1 - scarecrow
s2 - Madison
s3 - dr Benton
s4- ?? maybe Nick Munroe, but he was super annoying too.
s5 - Famine
Great minds do think a like :)
ReplyDeleteSeason 1:
Bloody Mary -- the climbing out of the mirror and the bloody eyes thing. Had me cringing while watching it.
Scarecrow -- Oh yeah!!!! So with everyone on that one. Dude was fugly and scary, but then again I have a phobia.
Season 2
Djinn -- so reminded of the animated Superman epi where Superman beats the crap out of this dude who did the exact same thing to him....saying "Do you know what you did? *Smack* Do you know how hard it was for me to leave? *Slams dude on the floor*..... I totally thought I would see Dean do the same thing and beat the crap out of the monster for doing that to him.
H.H. Holmes -- so creepy!!!! with his mouth in front of that grate. OMG.
Season 3
The main chick from "Malleous Maleficarum --- basically b/c I am with Dean "Witches, *shivers* so skivey" and also "Why does the bunny always have to get it".
Jeremy -- Dream a Little Dream...how he drugged the boys and the things they saw and did. Awesome epi!!!
Doc Benton - he was pretty creepy.
Season 4
Honestly can't find any that I like in this season that were not re-occuring. I guess I will join eveyrone else with the Dracula one :)
Season 5
Roy and Walt -- just on the fact that they shot my boys...Grrrrrr...how did they get the jump on them???
Whore of Babaylon --- 99 Problems
Well that is my list. Sorry it is not much. Had to do some research while I was adding to my list. Sooo many episodes ..... so little time. Talk to you guys soon :)
we totally have to do this poll!!!
ReplyDeleteAmend that to favorite title card - since it's been pointed out elsewhere that most of us don't seem to understand there's a difference between best and favorite ;P
ReplyDeleteI would not know what to vote for, but I would love to hear about these things. Did not even notice any of that. That would make an awesome poll :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!!!! that would be great!!!!! You guys are just so freakin cool :)
ReplyDeleteThis is something I will never understand. How is it possible to be a fan of the show and hate one of the brothers? I will always be a Dean girl, but I also respect and understand people who prefer Sam. And I love Sam too, only a little less ;)
ReplyDeleteI would nominate the porn room from Provenance but it cracks me up so much I don't think I could name it the ugliest. Armadillo Texas room from Hell House might win that one.
ReplyDeleteI was concerned about naming these "Best" anything and almost changed it to "Favorite", but then I realized that this only seems to be a concern when Supernatural beats out someone else's favorite for something. Here in the Supernatural-only threads, I assume we know that best is a subjective term and that all internet polls boil down to people's favorites. In fact, there are very few times when the word "best" actually means something objectively measured; it's almost always used to give someone's opinion.
ReplyDeleteI hear you Mia.......I'm a fan of the show itself rather than the characters (although I do like Sam and Dean just a little ;P - ok make that a lot) but to get into that vicious, nastiness over one or the other? Nah! That's why I like it here on SpoilerTV - it hardly ever happens
ReplyDeleteThat ghost painting girl in Provenance would have given the Benders a run for it. Anyone who slaughters their entire family and manages to pin the blame on dear old dad is outright diabolical. What's a better word for creepy?
ReplyDeleteYeah I know *hangs head* - just couldn't resist the urge to be snarky (Just call me Dean ;P )
ReplyDeleteThe witches were nasty. I agree with you and Dean that they up the ick factor with the dead animals and bodily fluids.
ReplyDeleteS1: bloody mary (did we ever find out why deans eyes bled?)
ReplyDeletethe scarecrow,
the girl in the painting (provenance),
the shtriga
S2: the evil clown!! god that thing was so evil. the creepiest monster ever IMO
th djinn
S3: the seven deadly sins (this was my first ever episode)
can a rabbits foot be an anagonist? because i would vote for it, it was hilarious
S4: the shapeshifter from monster movie
S5: War
Jesse (does he count? he was in last weeks)
Pestilence
wow, thats a bigish list
this will be fun :D
very excited!
same here! tell us more!
ReplyDeletethat evil clown was so evil!!!!!!
ReplyDeletei did my list before reading others and i have it too
IMO the scariest monster out of them all
bikini inspector
ReplyDeletegot to be the best :D
i agree
ReplyDeletefirst 3 seasons i loved both equally, could never pick a favourite.
season 4 and so on has leant me towards being a stronger dean girl but i still always love sammy, especially when i go back and watch earlier seasons
but you just can't hate one of them, it unjust, theya re so adorable!
Here's one: in Bad Day at Black Rock Sam slips in the parking lot and rips the knees out of his jeans ..... later in the motel Sam's jeans are muddy, but there are no holes.
ReplyDeleteI would say Jesse fits in this week's theme better than last week, so yeah, add him in. Although I think the rabbit's foot is better in the weapon category. Shame too because that rabbit's foot was the most clever weapon yet.
ReplyDeleteWith the eyes bleeding thing, I know many people who think it refers to the shtriga thing from Something Wicked. Once it went after Sam, John spent hunting time to gt Dean and Sam safe and then lost it's trail afterwards. Dean blamed himself for that (although John is a -what non-cursing word is stronger than jerk) even if it wasn't his fault. I think it was a combination of hunting mistakes and circumstances throughout himself. He's obviously lost people that he thought he should have saved, which would account for his guilt in front of Mary. My guess is that we never get a spelled out answer, although I never thought they would answer why Mary told Sam she was sorry in Home. Then years later we get the back story, so maybe they will eventually.
Season 1 - Bloody Mary
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 - Madison
Season 3 - Gods from Christmas episode (what were they're names?)
Season 4 - If he counts, Alastair (SCARY AS SHIT)
Season 5 - Future Lucifer
Here's one more: in Yellow Fever when Sam and Dean are talking to Luthor's brother the sun is shining though the window on their faces. When the leave seemingly moments later it is pitch black outside.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Alastair is the scariest bad guy they have ever had in my opinion. He is Chief Torturer in Hell, a job I don't think they give you for your warm nature and people skills. :-) Unfortunately he's been in more than one episode so we'll have to vote for him when we do recurring characters in the next couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteHow about Samhain (Mr. Halloween) from Season 4, The Crocotta from Season 3 (made me weary of phone messages), and the European God from Season 5 that impersonated famous objects/people?
ReplyDeleteSeasons 1 and 2 have so many great ones I haven't been able to narrow down my top choices yet.
jesse deffinatley and yeah, i guess you're right about the rabbits foot. it was pretty awesome though.
ReplyDeletei've heard those theories too, i just wasn't sure if they were the answer or if anything had been revealed and i'd just never picked up on it.
its a pretty decent reason though so thanks, its the one thing i've always wondered.
OMG tough choices! I had to really sit and think about all of this for a little bit before coming to a conclusion, but end the end this is what I chose:
ReplyDeleteSeason 1: Constance aka Woman in White from the Pilot and Bloody Mary
Season 2: Possessed!Sam/Meg from Born Under a Bad Sign (he was too awesome and sexy not to choose ;D) and Madison from Heart (obvious reasons ;_;)
Season 3: Casey from Sin City (she was the kind of baddie you felt sympathetic for) and Madge and Edward Carrigan the Pagan God Couple from A Very Supernatural Christmas (I chose them both because they're a duo of baddies here doing the exact same thing, so I felt it was okay. If not, then just Madge. xD These two cracked me up with how cheerful and overly happy with their goofy quotes such as "Alrighty roo!" and "Oh my goodness me! Somebody owes a nickel to the swear jar!")
Season 4: Alistair (omg I dunno why but I just loved how cruel, evil and devious this demon was. His first meatsuit was my favorite) and Dirk in After School Special.
Season 5: War (I really loved his attitude xD) and the Wraith in Sam, Interrupted (she was just incredibly creepy and I loved it xD)
Season 1 - THE BENDERS, from The benders :P I say they were monster
ReplyDelete- :D Shapeshifter from Skin. I know they were back but not that one heheh
Season 2 - Djinn, from what is and what should never be. (one of my fav ep Ever)
- And DUH Madison heheh (Heart ? not sure)
Season 3 - Jeremy (Dream a little dream of me)
- the little girl from Bed time stories..
Season 4 - I'll try him again ehehhe : Jack Montgomery, the rugaru from Metamorphosis
-The (Adam) Ghoul ... From jump the shark
Season 5 -War Horsman Good God Y'all
-Famine Horseman My Bloody Valentine
O_O
ReplyDeleteOh gosh this is GONNA BE so freaken hard haahaa.
ReplyDeleteI want the Djinn to win too :DDD The ep deserves it hehe
ReplyDeleteno S4 ?
ReplyDeleteYeah the HB are the best Idea SPN ever had lol, cheap AND scary perfect. NOW MORE MUSIC! The season is more gross .. I like. But I prefer to get some bad effect with AWESOME music :(
ReplyDeleteOMG I LOVE YOU! I thought I was the only one (with my BBF but she hates Castiel so she doesnt count..) that hated that episode. Sorry, I felt so alone ahhaha
ReplyDeleteLOL not happening. Maybe he was during the Hellatus. I mean RoboSam didnt sleep for what? a year ++... Would be logic
ReplyDeleteLOL for the irritating character? hahaha. well.. true
ReplyDeleteLOL Great idea but then we would get like 50 lines from each characters AND each season ahhaha
ReplyDeleteArn't they all the same? :O just saying hehehe
ReplyDeleteplaythings
Like best One shot was worthless for season 5 with Futur Dean and Old dean... c'mon guys hahaa.
ReplyDelete:D Okay don't know what you guys will think but I made myself laugh...
ReplyDeleteBest Chick Flic Moments haaha
LOL Where do they say "here ou go Jensen?"
ReplyDeleteAnd The ACDC mistake was so big ahahha, I cant believe they would do this in the pilot hahha. Any way :DDD
I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT... *cough* Best show ever *cough* :P
ReplyDeleteIn Hell House after Dean puts itching powder in Sam's shorts... they go get coffee. Listen to the man giving Dean his coffee at the window. He says " Here you go, Jensen and Dean (Jensen) says "thanks".
ReplyDeleteI like it :)
ReplyDeleteThat is sooo freakin awesome!!!! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do some of the best ones include Bobby? He has some of the best lines in these situations. "can we roll credits...before we start growing girly parts" (or something to that effect); "you guys are breaking my heart...can we go"?
ReplyDeletelol I had so much fun watching Fallen Idols with my friend, cause her boyfriend looks just like Zac Efron (I mean it, they're like identical), so we began to wonder if he was that pagan god, especially that he has some Eastern European (I guess Belorussian) roots :P
ReplyDeleteLOL That would be the best "no chick flick moments line" or something like that. I was more thinking about moments that Are chick flics... cause we all know there are planty AHHAHA! sharing their feelings and all lol
ReplyDeleteAhm, ok, lets see. So many, many awesome MOTW:
ReplyDeleteSeason 1: Alright, there are two which really stand out for me from season 1, and they come from the two episodes which creeped me out the most: Dr. Ellicott from 'Asylum' and Melanie Merchant (creepy psycho child) from 'Provenance'. I'm not sure what it is about those two characters, maybe it was how evil they were even before they died, but those two really stand out for me, especially Melanie Merchant.
Season 2: From Season 2, we have the Rakshasa from 'Everybody Loves A Clown', which, aside from being the creepiest clown ever to creepy its creepyness, was also an interesting monster, and one I hadn't heard of before. But yeah, mostly just creepy. Also in season 2 we have Madison, who is literally my favourite MOTW ever, and the only one I have ever shed tears over. She was such a brave and sympathetic character, and the effect her death had on Sam and Dean was very striking.
Season 3: A bit shorter on the MOTW in Season 3, but there are still a couple of stand outs: first off, we have Mr. and Mrs. Anti-Claus from 'A Very Supernatural Christmas', also known as the Carrigans. They were brilliantly played by Spencer Garrett and Merrilyn Gann, and their evil was so adapted to suburbia, it was fantastic. Also a winner, Doc Benton from 'Time Is On My Side'. I think what made him interesting was the fact that he actually wasn't really Supernatural, just a fantastic scientist.
Season 4: Again, a little short on MOTWs, but in this season we had the awesome Dracula-esque shapeshifter in 'Monster Movie', one of the most sympathetic monsters since Madison, and a really great protagonist in a very fun episode.
Season 5: So, by this time we're in serious mytharc mode, but this season still managed to produce the Leshii from 'Fallen Idols' which produced a cannibalistic Mahatma Gandhi and a murderous Paris Hilton: what's not to love? However, by far my favourite MOTW from this season was the wraith from 'Sam, Interrupted'. Fantastically acted by Lara Gilchrist, she was caring, overly peppy, and oh so very creepy. Plus, it gave us a great insight into Sam and Dean's psyche (both collectively and as individuals), which is always great.
I'm gonna have to go rewatch now, I never noticed that!

Okay... I see where you're going now. In Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things when Dean pulls the car over and tells Sam how he's feeling... I start crying every time.
ReplyDeleteTotally off topic...again, sorry.... but has anyone else noticed that in Season 6 Dean is no longer wearing the silver ring that he wore in the first five seasons?
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing special about that. Jensen just did not like it and so Dean no longer wears it. It is not like the necklace. Which, according to rumors, is suppose to make a reappearnace sometime this season???
ReplyDeleteThere is really nothing there with that. Jensen just did not like wearing the ring...so no more ring. It is not like the necklace. Which, according to the rumor mill, is suppose to make a reappearance somethime this season????
ReplyDeleteI remember reading somewhere Jensen doesn't miss wearing the amulet all that much. He said it's heavy, and sometimes before a fight scene he'd forget to swap it for the lighter rubber version and he'd keep getting hit in the mouth as it bounced around. But I hope it comes back this season....
ReplyDeleteI want a favorite Demon poll:
ReplyDeleteAzazel, Lilith, Alastair, Meg, Ruby...that would be an incredible poll :)
I miss the music, but damn do I love the gore in this season. Unlike any other show, it's obvious that Sera Gamble is in charge now. O.o
ReplyDelete"I'm BATMAN!"..."I lost my shoe..."
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the whole episode was incredible, and one of the best standalones in the series... It was a great setup for what SPN would eventually become.
ReplyDeleteYou got it. Look for it in about 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteTouche - I was hoping they would split the vote and cancel each other out. I voted for Pastor David because I think one-shot characters played by recurring characters have an unfair advantage. That be said, I may still have to vote for Shapeshifter Dean this time because he's the monster that made the biggest impression on me. That thing was evil!
ReplyDeleteFor me the Benders were the worst. HUMAN I mean come on. tsk tsk tsk. that little girl was creepy as hell lol
ReplyDeleteyep :D
ReplyDeleteyeah lol not sure she agrees a hundred % with Kripke on the "less you see the better". ehhehe. I watched The Third man and GEEZ it's sooo gross ahaah.
ReplyDeleteNobody has that bad of taste. :-P
ReplyDeleteLike this list. Unfortunately, the Alastair played by Mark Rolston was in 2 episodes also: I Know What You Did Last Summer and Heaven & Hell. I'll put him on the nominations when we do recurring character.
ReplyDeleteLove all your reasons for what you chose. I agree on most of them.
ReplyDeleteReally? That's awesome news. I love the amulet. Here's hoping they use the amulet as a symbol in place of a long and drawn out chick flick moment. Symbolism rules folks.
ReplyDeleteNon classic rock does have its place in SPN - I was just thinking about Do You Love Me by the Contours (The End) - that was a stroke of genius on Ben Edlund's part. Once again - it was there for a specific purpose - and wow did it work!
ReplyDeleteOh shit. I thought for sure he was just in the one. I haven't watched Season 4 in ages. Well...I tried! Blame the flu! lol I've been sick since the day after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are sick. One entire side of teh family got sick after we celebrated Christmas with 3 sick kids. Luckily I did not get sick. Score one for the immunity you get from working with children all year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
Thanks. :) Sadly, I put quite a lot of thought into them. :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, that doesn't sound fun at all. 3 sick kids? Well, at least they waited until after you celebrated Christmas! Lucky you though, definitely. And thanks! I'm certainly trying! I was finally able to stomach some soup, so we shall see. Hopefully that means the road to recovery now.
ReplyDeleteSeason 5 is still clear in my mind, and i recently re-watched S1-3 but not S4, so I don't remember anyone from that one, I'm a terrible spn-fan ;)
ReplyDeletetsktsktsk How can you treak season 4 like this :O
ReplyDeleteI know, it's atrocious! I really have to watch it again, just have to find the time, which probably would be easy if I stopped hanging around here so much :D
