Supernatural - Best One-Shot PiP (Season 4)

First off, Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great one. We're nearing the end of this week's polls. So far we've had a tight race and some definite winners. This time it's season 4 PiP's. Vote and comment.

  1. Season 4 had some great PiP's too. They were definitely the most unique. How can you top a suicidal teddy bear? While I would love to vote for the teddy bear or Audrey from Wishful Thinking (they were fantastic), I have to go with Jamie from Monster Movie. Not only does she help out, but she firmly puts the monster in his place. She has spunk and I like that in a one-shot character.

"You ever think that maybe you're lonely because you kill people." I love that line!

  2. That's who I picked too. It was between her and Ian for me.

  3. Well, I'm probably crazy but I had to go with the Teddy Bear. He never asked for what he got. lol How more depressed can you get and Sam and Dean would love to do him in. Can you kill a toy? lol

  4. Jimmy. I still feel for him with Cas riding him around getting blown up and stuff. Of course at this point, Cas is just keeping the appearance--Jimmy's long gone...

  5. I literally watched this episode yesterday, and I loved Jamie (again)...

  6. "Do we...burn 'em?" *freaked out faces*
God that's one of the ultimate classics right there. I still to this day can't make it through that scene without losing it.

  7. I'm being very decisive this week for a change.....
    I went with Jimmy.
I've always felt really sorry for poor Jimmy......he was such a nice, ordinary guy who loved his family......
who really believed he was called to be an angel vessel - that it was a privilege......
He had no real idea what it would mean for him and his family for him to become an 'angel condom'.
Of course, I'm extremely grateful to poor Jimmy. If he'd said 'no' to Castiel, instead of a prettyboy angel, we could have been stuck with some boring spotty teenager a la Trevor (Swap Meat). Or worse, a Becky clone....so thanks Jimmy.....

  8. Jamie was really awesome but I have to go with T. Bear. He was simply hilarious. 'Why?!!!!!!' *giggle*

  9. This one is surprisingly tough for me. And those kids won me again! I really liked all Claire, Danny and Cole, each for separate reasons. I felt for each of them. Of course I liked Jimmy and even now watching Cas I still think of Jimmy being trapped somewhere inside. Jamie was also amazing for a PiP. I seriously don't know who to vote for...

  12. Definitely the teddy bear from Wishful Thinking. I have seen that episode so many times its not even funny, but I swear the teddy bear always cracks me up, even though hes all sad

  13. Tough choice but I went with Jimmy over Teddy because Jimmy was more instrumental to the season. But I still LOVE the alcoholic manic-depressed Teddy!

  14. I can't believe I had to choose between Teddy Bear and Jimmy Novak. xD

  15. Chose Jimmy Novak. Although I REALLY REALLY wanted to select "Suicidal Teddy", lol. I'm glad he's winning though. That scene was one of the defining moments of Supernatural-wth are they smoking-weirdness.

  16. So who did you choose.......not being nosy.....well....yes I am.. .but are you gonna tell us?

  17. I chose Jimmy Novak. His heroism in sacrificing himself for his daughter, when he knew what he was getting into and how much it was going to cost him...well, I think it certainly makes him possibly the bravest PiP we've ever had on SPN. Plus, Misha Collins did such an amazing job, I was blown away by his acting in that episode.

  18. was hard choice but i went with jimmy.
i just felt so sad for him throughout the whole episode
    and i love cas

  19. ever since the rapture i still think in each episode about what is jimmy going through.
i mean, what happens to jimmy when cas goes back to heaven?
coz he wouldn't need a vessel in heaven would he?

    ReplyDelete
  20. You know, I wonder about that too. When Cas goes back to heaven does he just stand Jimmy in a corner till he needs a meatsuit again? Stuff him in a fridge to keep him fresh?......

  21. So.. definitely no snacking in heaven. Too many bodies on ice.

PS - Showing my age here, but this comment made me think of The Goonies when they stuffed the guy in the freezer with the ice cream. Put me off ice cream for a good year.
