Bones Cancelled Shows Glee Grey's Anatomy NCIS SpoilerTV Article Supernatural The Mentalist Vampire DiariesAs we posted a while ago here, starting in 2011 each month we will be giving $100 to the charity that SpoilerTV readers vote for. If I could vote a few times the animal charities and vampires would have got my vote, but since I have only one... I voted for Sydney Per Rescue... before I saw Paws for a Cause. may have voted for that one due to an in ability to resist rhymes and puns.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I love it.
ReplyDeleteVery good idea! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a though decision between Camp Sunshine and Smiletrain. I voted for the Camp, but these are all heartbreaking causes, they all deserve the money. Although I'm a big fan of Ian, but I had to choose one, which aims to help PEOPLE,
ReplyDeleteIf you've never suffered from Tourettes syndrome, and very few swear, you have no idea what people go through.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great initiative!
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome idea!! All very deserving charities!!
ReplyDeleteUgh...Put Ian Somerhalder's name in it, and there's no competition, apparently.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the CS vote :)
ReplyDeleteThat makes my heart all fuzzy inside.
I voted Camp Sunshine. But it was a tough decision - they're all working so hard at what they believe in.
ReplyDeleteCongrats SpoilerTV - brilliant idea. :)
wow that really sweet of you guys ...to help and donated !!! ;D
ReplyDeleteI so missed this post... no idea how.
ReplyDeletePLEASE vote for Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption. We're a network of foster carers who rescue animals from the pounds, bring them into our homes, and rehome them. We care for them, train them, and basically try to undo some of the damage that has been done to them. We don't have our own shelter (so many can turn into other kinds of pounds without constant maintaining), we rely heavily on volunteers and donations. Vists our newly created blog for details:
http://fetchingdogs.blogspot.com/
Since Feburary, we've been able to rescue over 40 dogs... and that load has been split between about four foster carers in total (the dog part of the charity is new this year). $100 could buy a lot of dog toys... and save my furniture!
Thanks for voting us, darq.
ReplyDeleteI'd expected Ian's to win this month. Good to see a wide spread, will be interesting to see who wins next month as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in guys :)
Yep, they are all really great Charities. Hopefully over the course of
ReplyDeletethe year we'll be able to send a little to as many as possible.
Thanks, we hope it becomes popular :)
