Guest Stars: Jack Nicholson and Salma Hayek
Genre: Mystery

So what about you? Who would you choose? Post in the comments below using a similar format to the one above to make it easy for people to read.

  2. OMFG this is a seriously tough question to answer! So many genres I could choose as my fav... then to determine the mood and direction of the series with the writer and director.... This will take some thought!

  3. ...and there would be more DVD unrated bonus features than aired footage i bet too! lol

  4. Huh...Cop drama with...Casey Affleck...and Garrett hedlund...They're brothers....Private detectives. o_O

  5. Wait i got it!! It would be a conspiracy adventure mystery written by Darlton: It would need Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson as regulars, the female lead would need freckles and the male lead would need to look constipated all the time, a heavy set guy for comic relief .. .maybe with a Brit buddy to double the fun....................wait... this sounds a little too familiar...Back to thinking bout this for a while.

  15. Whatever it would be, Jim Beaver and Mark Sheppard would be in every episode. They are awesome together. Oh, and throw in Anthony Stewart Head too. Of course, this show would never get optioned because it doesn't hit the key demographics. :-( But still, I could watch it and that works for me.

  27. Ever since Smallville has been on the CW -- I have wished that someone would come up with a good Batman show to go along with it. I have a friend that I have been bouncing ideas off of. I even came up with a name for the series: Knightfall.
Plot: It is play on Batman Beyond. This way we can have new characters, but also old ones. We would also have a mixture of teenage angst with adult situations mixed in with it.
Lead Actors: there would be 2..... 1. Terry McGinnis: Ryan Merriman 2. Bruce Wayne: I am stuck here.
Lead Actress: McGinnis' right hand girl: Max......Erica Hubbard

    Director: Chris Carter.

That is as far as I have gotten. Now my husband told me that the WB is planning on doing a tv series and are the works of putting something together to present to the network --- but I am kind of worried about it. I just don't want it to be cheesey. If you can't tell....I am HUGE Batman fan. And this is before the Dark Knight came out :)

thanks for listening to my ramblings :)

  28. Whatever show I would make, I'd love to see Jensen Ackles and Sophia Bush as lead characters, just for the pure pleasure of watching two amazingly beautiful people together on the screen :P

  29. I would probably want something like a mashup between SPN and the Whedonverse... Seth Green seems to be in lots of awesome stuff... both writing and acting, so, he could probably just run around being himself and doing w/e he wants. Ooo Jhonen Vasquez comes up with HILARIOUS stuff, so I'd probably have him off in the corner trying to make people not like his stuff, but whatever he makes is still awesome.. I'd imagine he'd be a good writer or director sort of person...Reese Witherspoon might be a good guest star... Julia Stiles could either be a Supporting or lead person.. and I think Angie Harmon could be the other one.....Edward Aweso-.. Norton might be a good guest star....Eric Millegan could be a good supporting or lead role...... and I guess that means Seth would be either lead or supporting role.. xDDD;;; >U>;; I dunno how well that would work... 8D;;; I took way too long on this and I've never done this before, so I feel like of silly. >W<;

  31. Genre : Comedy.
    Writer : Larry David.
Channel : HBO, FX or Showtime.
Directors : Larry Charles, Paul Feig, Joe & Anthony Russo.
Lead females : Tina Fey and Portia de Rossi.
Lead males : Ricky Gervais and Will Arnett.
Support actors : Tony Hale and Ken Jeong.
Guest-stars : Jerry Seinfeld and Ben Stiller.
Pitch : a show about nothing (Nothing? NOTHING!). Seriously, it would be about 4 friends who were traders but got unemployed because of the economic crisis. There's famous, their faces are known to the public because of their actions. They lost everything, now everyone hates them and they have to make a living.

Executives, I hope you're reading that, this is gold.

Well, mayve you'll have to subtitute Tina Fey by Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (I don't know where I got this idea from), because Fey is obviously busy on 30 Rock, and then you have a show.

  37. I know! It seems good, doesn't it? I would call it : Bankruptcy.

I tried to stay realistic : all these actors are available (except if Julia Louis Dreyfuss is doing Veep on HBO - a political satire that looks awesome btw). If Curb your Enthusiasm is entering its final season next year (and I hope not!), Larry David needs to do another show, he's too good, he just can't retire. Having him working with Ricky Gervais on this would be amazing.

  42. My friend here is trying to convince me that any independent contractors who were working on the uncompleted Death Star.... were innocent victims when they were destroyed by the Rebels.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Mine was less about possibility or realism and more about getting the best writers, director and top acting talent altogether in one place and let them play off one another. No light weights (okay... I did toss in some eye candy for an extra demographic range) all heavy hitters in roles they do well... or would do well. Plus I figured with 24 gone, another government conspiracy action type show is needed... well since The Event is certainly not filling the void.

I think you could add David Cross as a guest star too (unless that mess of a show manages a second season.

  46. "all Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets"

I think Kevin Smith still has it in him to do something like that. I loved Clerks 2, but I hated Zack and Miri Make a Porno. I wish he would just stick to what he does best, as he calls it: dick and fart jokes. And since Dante and Randall bought the Quick Stop with Jay and Silent Bob's help, I would like to see them running the place again. And, you can never have too much Jay and Silent Bob. It would absolutely have to be on HBO or Showtime to get away with the language.
